Here's a reason for dogs loving more then cats: Most people get animals from bad places, but dogs only get bought as puppys, when the cats get bought at anytime, and they have better memory so if they get mistreated often, they don't like humans. And most people treat cats like dogs, witch leads the owner into hating the cat, and mistreating it. So that's one reason why.

Men know where loyalty lies and it’s not in money. You don’t even take the time to look at the facts.
They removed him because he was with a coworker and there was a significant power differential, as well as the fact he marketed himself as the "wife guy" and his whole schtick was how much he loved his life. His actions reflected negatively on them and the company, and it was improper of him to cheat on his wife with a coworker, they're fully in their rights to fire him.
