- So many people have a lot of memories with the Xbox 360, especially while playing Modern Warfare 2. Possibly, the best Call of Duty game ever made... 👀

Ah yes the 360 power button, I remember losing my progress in Lego Batman 2 because my dog walked in front of me, and brushed the button, that damn power button was too sensitive. R.I.P Coco, you were a great dog

@@TheGoaterGoat that's even funnier saying as how I have a cat now
Wait. You killed the dog??
I like how he shoots the guy you have to melee

He clearly never played mw2, this vid is a lie bruh 🤣

I used an HDMI for my 360, and my hd tv, we had those back then too.
I didn’t
And this tv doesn't even have ports for all three cables 🤣
@@GrizzlyGamesNorway it has mono audio, that’s why.
Not in 2005 when the came out you didnt
Lol same
I currently have 4 friends that are very close to me in life, that live in the same state as me. I’ve been seeing them for years and hanging out with them. They’re literally my best friends and my family loves them. I met them all on Xbox 360 MW2 back in 2009. I’m currently 20, I know I “shouldn’t” have been playing that when I was 9 but ah fuck it, live a little. But man were those the days. I always tell my friends gaming is a lot different now that I’m older. It’s not the same and I miss it. I remember waking up at 9am, I’d skip breakfast and message everyone to get a 5 man on search and destroy. Just some kids, trash talking like the little assholes we were, getting trashed talk back. Man did that game make you mentally and emotionally strong hahaha. All in all, thanks for making this video. It’s been several years since we’ve all played together, maybe last time was 2013? I appreciate the nostalgia and memories that came back. One of the best games ever made for 360 in my opinion. Hope everyone has a good Christmas
Thank you so much for sharing your story. The friends we've made through games are so special in their own way. Enjoy your holiday!
Time to game on again.
Good old times of Xbox 360 and ps3.
I’ve met a lot of friends on Xbox Live throughout the years. Most of them were from other states but we’ve met due to either business trips taking us to a nearby town or something as special as one of them getting married and inviting me. These are some of my closest friends and I am so glad online gaming has brought these people into my life.
@@JustDontPls For sure!
I am from Illinois and I flew out to New York for his wedding. I met several friends from Xbox at that wedding too as we were part of a larger group.
On a side note, unrelated to gaming… I met my now best friend on an internet car forum many years ago. The internet communities of all sorts bring us together.
Bro got the 1994 TV and the late 00s Xbox lmao
That's how it was for some of us.
@@Galiant2010 I had a box tv but not from the earlier 90s lol
It was like silver early 00’s style
My point was using a tv from the early 90’s in like 2008 was pretty shit lol
@cba.literallycant. yea and I remember upgrading to HD lcd in like 2012 coming from gta iv on one those silver tube tvs 😅
Yes I remember buying mw2 on day 1 then time traveling to the future to buy a Xbox 360 S to play it on.
Well they didn't say it was day 1 of MW2 release. That came out in late 2009, the S came out in June of 2010. It's not hard to believe that they picked both up as a bundle when the S came out so that's their nostalgia point.
actually newer 360 games need a system update to work, so if you time travel before the release of MW3 you won't be able to play the game unless you take an updated 360 with you.
When life was easier back then. Less stress…
Well no Shit lol, we were like between the ages of 12-17 when this came out 😂

Yeah og 360 and world at war or cod 4 would be the games most likely played still on crt. I know I did
I was still using CRTs up until 2015.
I remember when turning on the TV and hearing that severe screeching noise
Omg yes bro. What TV did you have? Just to know if its a brand error.
Btw, mine didnt even have channels, i just used it for my XBOX.
Its fucking awful. I had forgotten 😅, plus I always heard by 30 we'd be deaf to it

@@leecroft7311 the original Xbox 360 models didn’t either. The best cable for them is a hard to find VGA cable that allows 1080p.
Looking it up quick, they are no longer that hard to find. They were pretty pricy when I looked back when I had my old 360.
That's not how a lot of us first experienced the 360. I played 360 on a VCR CRT with mono audio like this for years before getting my first 720p monitor.
This is one of my favorite memories
The 2008 recession had me playing like this, and I didnt complain. Gosh, what a different world. How time flies.
the nostalgia quest has been completed
1 Old console
2 Old tv
3 old games

Man, I remember playing COD Modern warfare 4 on the Xbox 360 elite that released on 2007
Wish I could still use my old CRT, that ringing sound is so migraine inducing
I never owned Xbox 360 until Gears of War 3 came out on Sept. 20, 2011 when I bought the Limited Edition Console Bundle. I had so many memories from that Day all the way to the Day GTA5 came out
It's crazy how this is nostalgic now when during this generation of gaming I use to think about how I played my Nintendo 64
PS3 and Wii in 2022 are as old as N64 was in 2012
We had hd flat screens by then, lol.
They existed, but they were expensive. I played my 360 on a CRT like this for years before finally upgrading.
Was crt 360 gaming really this uncommon?? I thought it was more common but I guess many people are debunking this
Nostalgic i miss 2013 🥲
I remember doing the exact same thing
on a Playstation 3
My man
For me it was BO1 on PS3 with a 27inch CRT
Ps4 fortnite shitters.

You have the same tv as my grandma, I would take my Xbox 360 and play Minecraft, left 4 dead, gta 5, and call of duty all the time when I was up there. I miss those days
Bro that ding to open the disc tray brings back so many memories 👌🏻
I’m pretty sure we had flats screens then
Not everyone did crts stopped production in 2007 you know
They existed, but not everyone had one because of the cost. I played my 360 on a CRT like this (small with mono audio) for years before getting my first 720p monitor.
I got my first full HD screen in 2014 to play with my 360 E. I remember being finally able to read small text on some games built for HD screens 🤩
I can't even put into words the unfathomable rage I felt surging through every bone in my body when he didn't show changing to channel 3

Mw2 was the best multiplayer cod ever. Not only was it good the first year it came out but 2 years later it grew popular again with trickshotting lol
Taking me right back to high school. Old tube TV in the basement, cheap headset, and a lobby full of screaming players. Good times man, good times.
That TV had a massage after turning it on 💀
The sound of that disktray opening and closing will always be such a nostalgic sound to me.
Good game, I loved the part when you end shepherd
Me too
This made me pull out mine in 4 years
I used to love getting back from school and hitting my cousin up to play mw2 all day long. I miss those days so much 😔
I remember when my friend and I first got Xbox Live for Halo 2 back in the day. We didn't have mics, yet, so after every match we'd call each other to gab about the previous match while in the lobby for the next match lol.

Ah yes the good old times :)
Ahh so many great time who remembers mw2 and lego Batman and NHL 10 was so many great times
man i remember the first time i played this game at a friends house. i was barely starting high school and figuring out all the bullshit that comes with that but i always like playing games as a kid. thru my childhood things got rough and we couldn’t afford much let alone a gaming system. then comes 9th grade on my birthday when i request a ps3 and mw2, knowing that black ops 1 was releasing that same month but i didn’t wanna ask for too much and figured to just wait until christmas. i played mw2 every waking hour i had from the moment i would get finished with my homework, getting out the shower and tryna play for 30 mins before bed just to get that last bit of fun in. started making more friends at school who played games and from that point on things got so much better. i doubt anyone will read this but i still remember trying to figure out my friends xbox controller while playing this at his house. man, such good times with such simple things….
Gaming truly brings everyone together! that's the best part!
Halo on the 360 with my brother was my childhood!
I had broken so many disks having my 360 verticle, sometimes if it wasnt seated properly your disk would get a nice big ring around it that made it unreadable
Yeah, I knew it was "supposed" to be able to be vertical, but I was never comfortable with it. Always kept my systems horizontal, even my Xbox One.
@@Galiant2010 yeah after the 360 destroyed my disks i never did it again until recently, now i have the series x and ps5 vertical because I never use disks anymore
