  • How to remove and replace a Manual Transmission in a 4 cylinder 97-01 accord
    Amazon prime free: amzn.to/2pEzdjE
    In this vid i did a upgrade to a h22 m2y4 ( prelude trans)
If swapping a h22 trans in your accord only parts you will need are the trans and the h22 vehicle speed sensor
Factory accord half shafts and CV shafts are reused
No special wiring was needed. just bolt in and out.
Quicker ratio gearing and overall a funner upgrade

nah the v6s automatics are a nightmare to pull. did a acura CL v6 auto trans which i believe is the same chasis as the accord. with an automatic you have to remove the shift cable which is kinda tricky not hard, the shift solnoids connectors which are easy to damage and expensive. also you will need to remove the torque convter bolts which isnt a problem either. just more steps . think the problem i encounted was removing the front subframe with radius arms out , plus it will have another mount on the front. wasnt a fun job. i wouldnt recomend a beginer do it at home

Wrench life 604 How do you figure you're pulling in air from a hot ass engine bay? What you have there is a SRI short ram intake. To get CAI you must be pulling cooler air from the outside be it by isolating the filter and routing cooler air in to it or by routing the filter outside of the engine bay. SRI will give you a little better throttle response and might or might not give better fuel economy, CAI will give you better throttle response and might or might not give you more HP.
