  • In this episode we focus on fabricating airbag mounts for the front and rear of the car. Lots of good tips and how to info in this one! Bagging a 2017 mustang IRS & 1970 Nova front subframe. The story of the car: My dad bought the shell of this 1940 chevy 2 door sedan in 1990, to build for my mom. Due to financial and health issues, it had been on the backburner ever since. Almost 30 years later and I decided its my responsibility to get this car done for mama. "Tinmama"!This will be more of a conventional street rod. Chopped, shaved, bagged, painted, etc.

    The whole "component" aspect of the final drive is a great way to go... any issues drop the driveshaft, unbolt the mounts and roll it all out. That is just plain smart.

      Exactly! I got a good deal on it too, so couldnt pass it up. 10,000 original miles, needed absolutely nothing. Not even brake pads

    Great video. Dumb question, does a car with bags ride any better or worse than a conventional setup? I ask, because I have a bad lower back. Best,

    • @Tinman2Kustoms
      @Tinman2Kustoms  Před 6 lety +1

      joe Schlotthauer depends how its setup. But properly setup bags can ride much, much better than any conventional spring setup

    Very helpful lesson!!! Learning alot watching this build. Just finished the 47 Chevrolet Pick'm Up Truck I'm building. Posted a video of it on my channel. If you get time check it out. Came out sweet, very proud of that truck. From the grave to the stage!!! Keep Rocking it out!!!

    • @Tinman2Kustoms
      @Tinman2Kustoms  Před 6 lety

      Rocker Pat glad to hear! I try to pack as much info into one video as I can. Honestly I don't watch any car videos or shows. I work on cars or videos 70 hours a week, and honestly would rather watch something completely non car related when I'm not working!
