The problem with rts and city builder games nowadays is that there are SO many resources and components to manage, it’s overwhelming for new players to the genre. Miss the days when rts was simple like StarCraft.

Well this might be the most casual, intuitive and gamepad optimized strategy city builder ever coming to PS..
I'd do unspeakable things for a new base-building RTS game along the lines of StarCraft and the CnC games.

Imagine Earth was in Early Access for over 7 years ;) Passionately developed by two indie dev guys.

i think it entered early access in 2014 but not fully released until now. i think that is what you might be thinking about.

Apparently it was just two developers working hard over years to do it themselves. Actually can't blame them since this is a really novel concept
Couldn't touch the Civilization so we went to the Andromeda galaxy.
The game looks actually interesting, but I don’t know about playing it with a controller.
They said the same about baldurs gate 3
Well, we reinvented gamepad controls for Imagine Earth almost 3 times until we were satisfied with it! It took one developer over a year to make them casual and intuitive!

why are there no analog sticks deadzone settings in the system settings of playstation console?
There are for the duel sense edge which is stupid because with that ya can just buy and replace the sticks easily :-/ but for the standard duelsense where this setting would make sense it's not there :-/

@@JensIsensee Sure, there's nothing inherently wrong with having it as a scenario...but it seems like nearly every single game in this genre does climate change now to the exclusion of all other scenarios. That's what gaming devs do...they find one thing and just do it over and over and over and over and over. Like the souls-like flood of games or fps the last couple of generations.
