Suga says he has a suitcase of music. They constantly submitted songs and only the best were accepted. They also write songs for and produce for others. Suga has even won an award for that.

I remember suga saying its like a song camp and Rm saying its a bit of a friendly competition between members and in house producers where they constantly submit songs and Bang pd goes through them. Which is why the members sometimes shares their demo of a song or lyrics that was not chosen. Their PROOF anthology album has a list of the members demo songs that were not selected. Bighit really knows the importance of teamwork.

In my case, I never really listened or watched KPop before I discovered BTS. It was June of 2015, I was just looking at random videos in CZcams when I come across VKook’s (😊V & Jungkook) video. I mmediately fell in Love with V’s charm and personality so I looked him up. I found out that he’s a KPop idol which is a member of BTS. I looked for their videos and found Danger dance practice interesting. After watching the video, I instantly became an ARMY and watched more of their videos. V became my one and only bias ever coz his voice doesn’t match his youthful look and behavior. Plus, his voice sounded amazing and gives me a happy and calm feeling. I also realized that they make their own music and that their messages helps, saves and heals the listeners. Their music is our Joy and peace of mind. And that’s how I became an ARMY. Also, i’m a mother of 2 teenagers which happens to be a BTS ARMY as well.💜💜💜

Thank you for your reaction. I totally agree with you on that each of BTS’ songs are different and unique. I too, have never heard a band to do this. As you said most have songs with similar sounds to each other. And the other thing is that BTS creates songs that allow the audience/fans to interact with them by fans singing back the lyrics in response like, “you got me . . . and I got you.” This helps the fans feel closer to them building true friendships between the two. And if you didn’t know, NASA has chosen 3 BTS songs for their playlist when they go into space in 2024 (check Google/CZcams). Mikrokosmos is one of them. Isn’t that great! This is actually an abridged version of the original. There are so many stories about this song from the iconic Vmin moment(Jimin and V singing together) to slightly different for different performances

I’m the same, I like harder/heavier music…don’t really listen to pop or softer stuff. But for some reason, BTSs softer music just hits differently. I have an appreciation for it. I think it’s the passion and energy that they convey. Anytime they’re onstage, you just feel the passion that goes into it. When I first got into K-pop, I thought other groups were better because they had harder music…but bts was the only group that sustained my interest. The harder music actually got repetitive and boring. They all started to sound kinda the same
So true. At the end of the day, the meaning behind the song and the lyrics are the most important thing. I think that differentiates BTS from most of other Kpop groups. Even their most silly and playful songs like Go Go and Anpanman have heavy meanings.

@@aisyahomar2516 yes, so when i hear other ppl say bts is nothing special, i think it's because they never took the time to dig into their music and story. they're looking from a surface level and missing all the details and artistry in their music. i must admit, i was like that in the beginning. but once things clicked, it set a standard.

But we kept watching their music videos, reading the lyrics, watching their explainer videos and we have learned so much more about them. We are so impressed with these guys and have so much respect for their music and each one of them as beautiful people.
I get it. I was the same. I made fun of my cousin for fangirling over them. I thought they were feminine and assumed they were given their music and choreo and all they did was sing poppy love songs about their highschool crushes and break ups. I'm 40s and was into eminem, usher, dr. dre, biggie, tupac, DMX, etc. I was never a fan of pop or boybands. and i've NEVER followed an artist/athlete/celebrity the way i'm following BTS now. I am a HUGE Kobe fan and i still never followed him the way i do bts. It's crazy and i would never have thought this would happen.
It's a combination of things that make them special. For one, i feel like i gain something listening to them speak, or paying attention to their lyrics. Whenever RM speaks, i feel like i learned something. I feel like i got smarter. I can't say the same for some other groups. They make me reflect on how i'm approaching my own life and how i can improve or think from a different perspective. Crazy....
you'll see other fandoms say things like "our group is better at this or that". but i think they just fail to realize that BTS is more then just singing and dancing. And if you're willing to take some time to do a deep dive with an open mind, you'll realize the depth of these human beings and what they're trying to do for the sake of humanity. i've been pretty jaded with the way society is going in the last decade...bts gives me a spark of hope.
happy to see that you guys are starting to get it. at first, you seemed like you'll just like every artist to gain views. but i'm starting to see the transformation. As a female, i really really wish to see a girl group or artist do something similar to bts. Not to copy BTS but to be authentic and speak their minds and show that women are intelligent and not just twerk on stage. Unfortunately, that doesn't sell....but hopefully one day someone will break that barrier. I mean, BTS's concept didn't sell at first...but they fought through it. Hoping for a female artist to do the same, and not to just be a industry plant
The Jimmy Fallon version is a talk show version during covid, so no audience. This a song that's so meaningful to each ARMY that you need to be there with them. This is the best version and I'm glad someone found subtitles.
For some really heavy stuff, watch J-Hope's More, or Arson. Not collabs, but you will like them! J-Hope will surprise you!

The beauty of Bangtan. They make all bangers. They are the only artist I've ever heard that has no side B songs. Every song could be a single release. It is amazing the diversity in their music. True artists.

They would end concerts with this as their outro. So live footage was often emotional as they prepared to say goodnight. Using an outro song without choreo, and dressed casual, allowed then to interact with the audience better.
That had to be amazing to be there in person to see them. Hopefully I’ll get the chance to see them live in 2025.

Was it Seo Taiji and BTS (Come back home) ? that was for his 25th anniversary concert...
They will often reuse a lyric out of one song into another song but it's a connection and sometime's you catch it easily other times it's not so clear. Sometime's it's a title it's have part2 but it might be on a solo project where the original is on a BTS song or album.

Hi! Hola! I love your channel… I had the opportunity to been in Las Vegas last year and it was great experience ever. The vibe, energy and all you can see on videos is true, but they don’t sing Microcosmos, they closed with Permission to Dance. They explain that changed their songs with Focus on your songs as a group. It was different, there were no guests but now I understand the reason and it was his last concert in the U.S. and I was the last day and they were tired, but as they always did their best despite the fact that several of the previous weeks had been on VlVD and with everything and that they performed on the Grammys and did their 4 functions and Jin had a maI admire the discipline of the seven and though they felt bad, they did it phenomenal. I'm ready for 2025, if you have a chance to go, I recommend you. Greetings from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷💜🤍🫶

I never said it was a Japanese song. I said at the end it sounded like he said goodbye in Japanese. Which several other people confirmed in the comments.
you should use headphones. You're missing a lot of the more subtle music behind them and the adlibs. ( just a suggestion). The composition of BTS music is why they are amazing, or one reason why they are. I'm silver ARMY who grew up in the theater and classical. I never really was interested in pop, except with friends and on the radio. IN my house, a song has to have more than 3 chord changes to be considered music. ( LOL , my mom used to say this). anyway, BTS is almost the only pop I listen to and I listen to them every day.

We understand. We really do. However this isn’t a BTS only channel. Also we were extremely transparent and honest with everyone at the beginning and said we listen to all groups. That’s what makes us happy. That’s what’s been working for our channel.
