Dude this kids highlights are literally mind boggling either the kid had a solid season in the big 10 or he’s him fr this kid is smart as hell and is a dawg tackler the kid can hit solid lock 🔒 down corner cb1 oh yes he and mhj will only get better in practice
You know cardinals fans were justifying this pick because he shut down mhj. The ugly truth is ohio state was up by 30 in the second half and decided to run. MHJ had 2 touchdowns on 4 receptions. Melton wasnt covering him on either reception however. Its just too early to tell if this is a good pick but cardinals fans act like all of their picks are all pros.
Im pretty sure they wanted max all along and knew there would be cbs going fast. Max looks great. This draft has been an instant roster upgrade in filling holes and holes for the near future.
I thought he was a decent pick … In Monti I trust !
Max and Marvin will be practicing against each other. They are only gonna get better.
I believe he held MHJ to like 25yds when they played against each other, and MHJ even commented on him being a good player and a dawg
He's violent, he's tough. A lot to work with here. Decent gamble in my opinion.
Mad we passed on Dejean, Kool aid and Jackson Power for a third this year… we already had plenty of draft pick. Hopefully MadMax prove monti right and we don’t regret this pick.
Dejean seems more suited as a safety imo … not a need for us
@@ceebee312We just drafted a Safety lol but I think we are less about tweeners with this regime. Robinson is versatile but at least we know we can fit him somewhere on the DL while Cooper may have gotten lost in the shuffle (especially if they view him more as a Safety).
Totally agree. We had enough picks. we didn’t get enough in return for moving back and there’s no way Max Milton was their preferred CB.
If we were confident about him, we wouldn’t have drafted so many more DB after.

@@Unkanny-K9 I definitely hope I'm wrong about this. Care to share any links to that coverage? I'd be interested. I didn't know that. The only clip I saw had Max looking pretty sloppy, grabbing onto Marvin in the end zone and the QB just couldn't get the ball out, but Marv was open. (I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of Marvin either. I mean, he's really good, but I'm not certain he was the top receiver in the draft.)
Max is a shutdown #1 corner.
At this point I trust Monti he has shown so far he knows how to find talent. I’ve never watched Melton but I have heard good things on him!

I really Wanted Koolaide or Dejean But, Now i can really See The plan...From All My Research Max could end up being The Very Best Corner....This Year We needed help at Corner and Wide receiver the Most! I Feel Like The Cards Nailed This Draft With the best Receiver,Running back and Corner.Then We added a good DE With Robinson A Good Blocking Tight end and a Saftey. This is the Best Draft We had in 16 years
Well Monti proved himself last year so I got a trust in Monti,, even though I did scratch my head a little bit at that pick.....
In Monti I will buy his gamble n we'll run it down their treats till it's time 2 move it 4 bigger chunks of yrds n scores. Tough schedule, but if these players grow n become studs watch out. Their running on us n passing won't b so easy from here on out..1 more draft 0f 6 early picks,watch out the red wave has improved every position. Here we come beware NFC WE'RE COMING On fast n hard.
I like Melton. He's a Gannon guy. Remember Gannon saying he wants killers! Lol.
All three choices of the cbs were solid picks, got some more capital by trading back and could have settled for any of the remaining cbs

Monti has drafted nothing but team first and drafted dawgs .
Issue is he's a slot CB.
He’s inside and outside versatile
They moved off for a project player who cant turn his head and locate the ball.
What's amazing is the amount of players drafted by AZ that came in for the 30.
Coulda got T’Sweat from TX, he woulda been our best player on our defense even when fat and drunk.
I don’t know I’m not sold on this guy. There are sleepers but I don’t think he’s one. Nice highlight reel though. Gone year 2.
HUGE GAMBLE. Time will tell, but I think it was a TOTAL DISASTER. Monti knows it. That’s why he didn’t move another picks. I liked the gamble at the time, but yikes!
Well we drafted freaking TIP REIMAN with the 82 pick so yeah we lost kool aid for nothing
