Hey Naveen, i truly love your contribution towards QA and i deeply admire you.
I just thought of adding something related to what you have discussed here.
I think it is possible to build a robust automated setup to achieve penetration testing (or) security testing, we have ZAP client APIs for that, which makes our work easier to add a security job as part of our test or development pipeline.
We can easily integrate our selenium tests to run a trace test across target screens, which upon integration with ZAP can be easily tested for vulnerabilities and other alerts.
It is also possible to use policies to decide the strength and threshold of our pentests using this APIs.
I truly wanted to share you as i have done a similar setup in my company, and it helped us to achieve a seamless DAST on our grounds.

Regarding captcha in projects I worked on, we can usually ask the devs to set captcha as a fixed number or a single set of numbers e.g. '22222'. This way we still use the captcha field in the automation as an actual user would, while avoiding the time consuming complexity of automating a dynamic captcha.

I have been doing automation testing for last 1 month on ERP system in my company through selenium with java testng and maven, in our ERP system there is a lots of dependency means for e.g To run accy module I have to fill all the pre requisite test data first...location, set system user add farm profile , create ledgers, accou mapping...so it takes lot of time ...so I have been questioned that then why to go for automation we can achieve it manually ...please help me how to handle this scenario

Naveen Sir, I need your help to compose a logic to handle security question/answer for user authentication. In my application I have 30 set of security questions for each users. Only 5 out of those 30 will be asked in a session. I have all the answers.
The tricky part here is that the answer field! Yes the answer field gets changed everytime.
Example : what is your last 4 digits of your credit card?
Answer field in
1st session : textbox
2nd session : drop-down with options
3rd session : radio button groups with options.
It is getting so messy to formulate a logic with if-else/switch-case statements. Is there a way to simplify it?
Or is this the best scenario to implement AI based test strategies?

Naveen we can also avoid automating 26) Drawing input like signatures, free flow drawing 27) Taking a photo from webcam in a web browser 28) cropping an image or online photo editing 29)Audio recording and the list continues :)
Good one. Signature could be possible using actions class using offset method.

Hi Naveen, selenium 4 allows younto pinpoint locations on map and perform testing
Not exactly by pin point. In Selenium 4 you can automate by passing latitude and longitude of the specific geolocation using Chrome dev tools APIs.

Why we can not do performance testing by selenium because we can do load testing by passing number of users then check the stability of application
