- The Kayak Anglers of Eastern PA hit up Much Chunk Lake in picturesque Jim Thorpe for the third tournament of 2022. It was a PERFECT fishing day, and folks were definitely catching.
The Whopper Plopper, Keitch impact swimmers and drop shot all landed me some fish.

I was going to hit up Mauch Chunk Thursday but something came up. It’s a beautiful lake. I usually get up there at least 3 times a year but still have not made it this year. Sanitize the hands🤣 yup!! Stinks no keepers but at least u were catching!!

Hey man, hopefully I catch wind of any kayak tourneys up there. It is local water for me. I hear ya with covering water. And usually agree, but this is mauch chunk. Not any major secret. The "best" bait shop in the area will point you directly at it. The bait shop litterly is named after it. Get whacky and stay whacky. The color is the secret 😉

That's the number one reason I love the NRS. Perfect pockets for a few plastics. I keep jig heads in the smaller pockets, plus my pliers.

Thats awesome i fish up there alot. Im about 40 mins away. The crappie there are big and great to eat the bass you definitely gotta go to the other side if you enter off the 1st boat launch. I usually get the bass trolling up and down. Nice sized pikes up there and great fight. Shot out to cap n hooks my brother right there i saw a vid of ya fishing together thats how i found out bout you. Good stuff man stay blessed!

Yeah man I've done decent on topwater there. That one was more than 5 casts in. I was hoping to get a few keepers but still can't complain that I was catching them 🤷🏽♂️😆
