I just wanted to say that I really appreciate UAVfutures. You guys have done a great job of making FPV racing affordable. I thought I could never afford this hobby, but your channel has helped me get started without breaking the bank.
hey little warning to tag to the top... the strap and 3 loops of metal where the strap connects to the top sometimes slides straight out, mine slipped out with a macbook pro inside... i screamed like ned flanders in front of everybody in a supermarket.. its probably best to sew the end of the strap to the other side of the loops.
You get what you pay for! I just got this bag for Christmas and its a lot smaller than I expected. Although I will say it fits everything you need comfortably with one 250 kwad and one inductrix pro. you can probably add another 5 inch kwad but I wouldnt. With that mind, for the price its a great beginner bag. I would recommend this bag only because it will help you figure out what your needs are going to be for future backpack purchases.
Just wanted to say thx for this review, this is truly an awesome pack! I bought a couple lowepro and seen a few others. Got this for $15 free shipping on eBay! My lowepro TX case fits perfectly which I store my taranis, goggles and various pliers, Allen screw drivers, hex driver and motor holder. Between that and the top of the case I could squeeze in two SKYRC chargers. Plenty more room to hold small accessories, antennas, a pile of 1300 batteries, props, sun block, cords, etc. with my armattan chameleon straps to the outside. Has compression straps, removable hip strap, did I say it was $15 and free shipping??? Thx so much, I recommended to all my kwad buds! Keep up the good work!
I just want to say thank you. I bought this backpack for 15$ on gearbest an it fits nearly all of my gear. It makes it a lot more enjoyable to go flying when you don't have to carry a ton of different bags ^^ .
got mine in today, bags smaller than expected, but for the price you cant really beat it. should carry all the essentials, drone, controller, batteries, props, and a ton of small spare parts
I actually have the exact same backpack (just in olive colour). And I use it on a daily basis since a year, I also used it for hiking/trekking and for my holiday. I think that thing is the best invested 12$ in my life ^^
Thanks for the recommendation. I found this pack on eBay for $15.49 shipped and it arrived in 4 days. I haven't used it yet but it looks perfectly sized as I'm packing it up!
i picked up the pack, and I sorta wish I had just spent more. It works, but the strap friction things are crap, the straps won't stay in place and come loose. One of the zippers popped out of its track on the main pouch and I can't get it back in. A few other complaints. Its cheap, for 17 bucks US its well, a $17 backpack. It definitely won't last, and the straps are SHORT. I'm 6'5 and the straps don't extend to sit on the middle of my back. It works, but it won't last.
Just got one, thanks for letting us know about it, just a recommendation but you should also do battery, prop, camera, fpv tx, and other reviews like that, like start off with those multistar battery's bc you must like them a lot bc you have so many, just a recommendation thanks.
'Merica! We don't need no stinkin' safety sheet.. :D Just kidding. Don't fly within 5 miles of an airport, and stay away from any place that has chain link fences with razor wire on the top.. To be sure, download the Airmap app on you phone. It shows all no fly zones in the country.
Dude your attitude is awesome! fellow aussie here and looking to get into quads. Starting off with a small Ready to fly quad to get the hang of it. And then will look at building a racing quad. Thanks for the videos and I hope you get some sponsored products to review. Would love to see your channel take off... get it.
Can i ask a favour. It would be greatly helpful if you did a back to basics video. Explaining simple things about quads. Maybe a mini series. pt 1. Motors & blades - brushed, brushless, what the kv is. whats good for beginners, whats good for speed/ stability. pt 2. Batteries & equipment. FPV screens, FPV headsets, what size batteries, what batteries work with esc's. You sound like the type of person that would be awesome to learn the basics and explain the simple things. Kind of like having at mate standing next to you telling you the differences between parts and how and what they do. Just a though that could help more beginners like me get into building quads more comfortably
Xplode88 yeah the more people the better. I do have a mini series like that, so far I have talked about the types of motors for mini quads and explained their kv, sizes etc, and I have also gone through how to pick a frame, what the sizes are, different styles, what each is best for etc. I do plan on doing more of those vids though
Awesome stuff, well i hope to get through all your videos. I have just purchased a JXD 509, to learn the basics of flying drones. my next drone will be a custom built FPV, so im hoping to get the cash and the right knowledge down before that time. Thanks again for your video's. You do a great job.
Im getting myself one thanks mate and a safety printout is a brilliant idea seeing the attention drones+people get haha where did you get your safety sheet? :)
Hi Stu. Any chance of you sharing the dimensions of your handy cardboard box? (I've hunted through previous questions but apologies if someone has asked and I've missed it). I've ordered one of these bags and I'm on the hunt for a container the same size as your box. Thanks heaps for this and all the great content you put up! Nearly at the 20K!!
I ordered one of these along with the eva case for my Taranis X9D+ at the same time, thinking the Taranis case would fit inside here nicely, but the backpack is way too small, it's my own fault for not checking out the dimensions of the transmitter case first. It is a really nice backpack though, so I'm just going to look for a small padded case to stick my transmitter in so I can use this backpack, I picked mine up on eBay for £9.99 here in the UK, really good deal.
Hey Stu, instead of the dog collars (great idea btw) you could just use proper molle attachments. they are super cheap on EBay and designed for the job. if I could figure out how to post a picture I would.
Pay attention! I ordered the bag and it's WAY TO SMALL for even the original Taranis Softcase. Have in mind that Headplay goggles or anything like that will not fit in there either. The bag is useless for me, I think I have to sell it on eBay :(
I bought one, it is very cheep indeed and the size is nice i can fit in everything i need. But it also breaks very easily, the shoulder straps are very badly made and the backpack is uncomfortable to wear, also the material used for the back makes you sweat quite a lot. All in all i would suggest to spend a little more and get something better that last more than a month.
I'm using the same Backpack since almost a year on a daily basis (take it to work, in my spare time, holiday, grocery shopping etc.). Maybe it is a ergonomics thing, but I have a skinny/thin body, and it is quite comfortable even, with 10-15kg weight in it ;)
Hi Stew, I'm new to FPV flying and I'm looking for the best starter kit under 500$. I watched dozens of videos on beginner FPV drones, but your Wizard x220 review stood out the most. So I kept researching and referring to your videos. I think I have everything I need to start. Here is what have in my to buy list so far : the Eachine Wizard x220, the FlySky FS-i6 transmitter + the receiver, extra straps, extra props, a Realacc Handbag for the wizard and for the LiPo batteries, a Charsoon DC-4S 2-4S, a few 4S 45C Lipo Batteries, Eachine Goggles 2 and the 20$ backpack. My question is - where would be a safe place to put the Eachine Goggles in the bag, because from what I saw there would be no more space for it inside? Thanks, Andrei PS : Did I miss anything crucial in my kit?
Nice Stew! Will def be looking to get one of these to replace my massive unwieldy quad box of doom. Where'd you get that little pack that you use for your Atom, Taranis and goggles? Think there's one of those in my future as well.
I am pretty sure it is from Hobby King. Here is the link. www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__64641__Turnigy_Transmitter_Bag_Carrying_Case_Camo_Green_.html
Of course the backpack can hold everything nicely. It's a military styled backpack, where the government has millions invested in the efficient design. Should have looked there first for a carry bag!
I've just bought the same backpack and here in the UK it cost me only £10.97. You really cant go wrong for that little money. Great advice as always bud and happy flying!
Smokin Mesa Nice one mate, you won't regret it that's for sure. I'm still using mine and I still love it. it's nice and small but still has enough room to organise my equipment just how I want it.
Modz FPV I've been using a 25l Regretta which is ok but I have to take everything out to get to stuff and is only a single space. Always felt like more pockets and a bit more space would benefit. Just need to sort some front straps out, as in the video. I'm assuming I can attach some myself.
Great vid once again. My friend bought 2 of these, his wife loved it so much, and she doesn't even fly.. Can you tell me more about the "Atom" (?) case that you mentioned? Would love to have a hard case for my Taranis. That looked great. Thanks mate..
its probably worth noting that gearbest is one of the worst sites to buy from... look at reddit.com/r/gearbest if you want to see what customer reviews look like
Great backpack, I've had it for a while now (for like 6 months). However, the quality of the thingies (english is not my main language, sorry) you use to hang the pack to your back are shit, they break so easily.
Gorka Arzallus what are you talking about mate your English is better than 95% of English only speakers on internet ! They're the ones who should be apologising , half the comments I read I cannot understand !
thanks mate:D yesterday i was in 4 shops looking for a bakpack but they where no good:P ordered one 14USD free shipping to norway:D only half desent bag i found was about 70USD. so money saved i bougt a new kiss fc:D happy day:D
Hi Stewart it's me again! Hey I was wondering, how would you roughly calculate the fly time of a custom build quad on a particular battery? Without testing XD! An answer would be much appreciated! Many thanks, Nikolai
look up xcalc xcopter, you specify the parts (or the nearest equivalent) and it spits out a bunch of stats. main problem is that it only allows you to use a random quarter of the parts list unless you buy a subscription (just keep refreshing until you get the parts you want) and it goes by manufactures specs exactly which mainly causes problems when manufactures say motors can only take 3s or 2s but can in fact can take 4s (eg DYS BE line because of high KV)
Nice review. I've been looking at that same backpack on several sites but thought that the main compartment would be too shallow to hold my big quanum V2 "face box" goggles. Is that true?
I got a soft sided lunch container that holds my V2's that I strap to the side of the pack with my quad . it works great ! I love this pack I just got another one for my son at Tmart for $15.00 and free shipping.

no probs

I bought one and it is absolutely perfect, plenty of room for all your gear.
You get what you pay for! I just got this bag for Christmas and its a lot smaller than I expected. I just want to say thank you. I bought this backpack for 15$ on gearbest an it fits nearly all of my gear.
It makes it a lot more enjoyable to go flying when you don't have to carry a ton of different bags ^^ .
Why are you always laughing when you start the intro lol. It's like someone told you a joke then you immediately started the recording mid-joke.
I usually muck up the first take, laugh about it and just re try and keep recording.
I love your intro
Raquibbi Samaun ..... just a typical Aussie nutter , we're all (most anyway ) like that , don't take shit too seriously !
UAVfutures ahh I've always wondered this 😂
every time I hear gdddday!!!! I think ...I've already watched this one
got mine in today, bags smaller than expected, but for the price you cant really beat it. should carry all the essentials, drone, controller, batteries, props, and a ton of small spare parts
I just placed my order. $17 free shipping. I'm stoked ! Thanks Stew !
Glad I could help
The dog collar trick is genius. Thanks. ^^
Great video. The dog collar tip is epic! Would never have thought of that. Love it. Cheers
I just bought one! It's so cheap it's stupid NOT to try one if you don't have something already...like me. And it was $15.95 USD shipped. Bam!
Kevin Hall Can I please have the link.
If only it wasn't so TINY .. My 25L backpack holds 2 of those turnigy transmitter cases and all my LiPo's in the main room.
Hi Stew, very nice find. I love the dog collar idea.
Thanks. It is so simple and cheap. it is great
i picked up the pack, and I sorta wish I had just spent more. It works, but the strap friction things are crap, the straps won't stay in place and come loose. Thanks for your kind words. Im so happy you got one. I cant believe it took me so long to get one.

Where is the safety information you have printed
www.uavsms.com.au/wp-content/uploads/RPAS-Training-UAV-Safety-Information-for-Drones-illegal-to-fly-commercially11.jpg
Now to find one for us in the States. Haha, this is designed nicely.
Thanks Chris Rhein!

Stew, thank you just want I was looking for at a great price point!! Purchasing one today!! Keep the content coming!
Omg, I had exactly the same bag a year ago, it was a great bag. Too bad the material is rather bad but for the price, you can't complaint
So glad I found this post! Ordered one on the spot!! Thank you soooooo muuuuuch!!!
Thanks, actually bought this pack. Where'd you get that case you keep your Taranis in?
I have that exact backpack going to use your awesome idea thanks for posting
: )

Im getting myself one thanks mate and a safety printout is a brilliant idea seeing the attention drones+people get haha where did you get your safety sheet? :)
A friend printed that out for me. but I will try track down the link

Of course. A dog collar. Awesome tip !
I know...My wife actually had that idea. but ill take all the credit haha
Exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks!
Glad I could help
Where'd you get the case you put your remote in? Great video btw.

Your starts always crack me up. classic. good info btw cheers
thanks mate. Happy Flying
Congrats on the baby! Do a new review on back packs
Mine showed up today. Thanks for the review.
: )
I've just ordered this backpack from bangood. should help with the mess. Thank you for the recommendation!

All this kit and remember the time you went all the way home for 1 x prop nut 😂
Where did you get that camo goggle/taranis case from?! Love it! Cheers mate!
This is really cool. Where can I get these laws from?
will that trasmitter bag squeeze into the front pocket??
Sweet. Thanks bud. Bought 2 for me and a mate.
Hi Stew,
I'm new to FPV flying and I'm looking for the best starter kit under 500$. I watched dozens of videos on beginner FPV drones, but your Wizard x220 review stood out the most. So I kept researching and referring to your videos. I think I have everything I need to start. Andrei
PS : Did I miss anything crucial in my kit?
u should also get a soldering iron and 1 extra motor/ESC
Thanks! I already have a soldering iron (forgot to mention it). Will add the extra motor
Hey Andrycha, I have the Eachine Goggles 2 also, and I was looking at getting this bag. Did those end up fitting in there for you?
Nice Stew! Will def be looking to get one of these to replace my massive unwieldy quad box of doom. Where'd you get that little pack that you use for your Atom, Taranis and goggles? Think there's one of those in my future as well.

yeah I got mine from hobby king for like $20
Awesome, thanks guys
Heya Stew,
You have had it for more then a year now, just wondering how the quality of the bag holds up? Loving your channel man keep it up! cheers:)
Good tip. Just ordered one. "Good lookin out" Thanks!
Of course the backpack can hold everything nicely. It's a military styled backpack, where the government has millions invested in the efficient design. Should have looked there first for a carry bag!
I've just bought the same backpack and here in the UK it cost me only £10.97. You really cant go wrong for that little money. Great advice as always bud and happy flying!
thanks
Modz FPV Just ordered one, same price (UK)
Smokin Mesa Nice one mate, you won't regret it that's for sure. I'm still using mine and I still love it. it's nice and small but still has enough room to organise my equipment just how I want it.
Modz FPV I've been using a 25l Regretta which is ok but I have to take everything out to get to stuff and is only a single space. Always felt like more pockets and a bit more space would benefit.
Just need to sort some front straps out, as in the video. I'm assuming I can attach some myself.
Hiya do you have a link please
Great vid once again. My friend bought 2 of these, his wife loved it so much, and she doesn't even fly.. Can you tell me more about the "Atom" (?) case that you mentioned? Would love to have a hard case for my Taranis. That looked great. Thanks mate..
hi mark, It was a turnigy transmitter case from hobby king. It was like $20 or something.
Thanks for your time.
You were right, it did help!!!! Right now it's under $8 on eBay. Can that be right???
awesome. get one
I did! It was actually $16, the $8 was for an accessory. Thanks!
Nice! Thanks for sharing.

www.rpastraining.com.au/casr-101-uav-drone-legal-or-illegal here you go

www.gearbest.com/backpacks/pp_248239.html
its probably worth noting that gearbest is one of the worst sites to buy from... look at reddit.com/r/gearbest if you want to see what customer reviews look like
+( ͡° ͜ʖ͡°) Zevi Rubin i bought from gearbest in the past and never had a problem.
Ive had some success but mostly disappointment. If the risk is worth the savings go for it!
+( ͡° ͜ʖ͡°) Zevi Rubin just bought, i hope everything goes well!
looks great thanks..i will check it out
they are great
Hello Stu. Curious how the bag is still holding up? Looking at getting a bag and this one is on the list.

Great backpack, I've had it for a while now (for like 6 months).

www.banggood.com/it/30L-Outdoor-Camo-Backpack-Rucksack-Camping-Hiking-Trekking-Shoulder-Bag-Pack-p-87544.html?rmmds=search
La Volpe Thanks heaps!
how was the delivery time?
where do I get some inexpensive batteries because all of those must a cost quite a bit ( sadly I am on a budget)
Heads up. The ebay link you posted is a backpack about half the size of the one you reviewed.
Just checked. looks ok to me??
It looks the same but it's smaller. I have the same Turnigy case that holds transmitter and goggles. It won't fit in the 30L sized packs.
Where did you get the one in the video?
I think I see my error. The transmitter case you have is smaller than mine.
Where did you get that case at 5:20 that you are using to carry your Taranis / FatSharks?
Shawn Denham the case is a turnigy case on hobbyking but it shows in orange and black
Thanks! found it!
Shawn Denham did you find it in different colors
Yeah, hobbyking has a ton of colors

Gday, and toooodaay, lol, I ordered my backpack from your link.. thanks Stew
I want one can't seem to find them
Nice review. I've been looking at that same backpack on several sites but thought that the main compartment would be too shallow to hold my big quanum V2 "face box" goggles. Is that true?
yeah I dont know if those will fit sorry
I got a soft sided lunch container that holds my V2's that I strap to the side of the pack with my quad . it works great ! I love this pack I just got another one for my son at Tmart for $15.00 and free shipping.
Mike Miller awesome. glad It helped you out
CAN WE PLEASE HAVE THE RULES CARD? (It is legal).
