I am so happy that both of thai girl are shining.
Having a daughter who's 13, I really feel protective of these girls. I still say they are too young to debut, but I will still support them.
For me, its not 100% about mediaplay when YG said that not all will debut as Baemon..its a tactic so the trainee work extra hard to achieve their top performance to be ready for their debut. Its also to prepare their mental for any harsh critic from 'the world' in the future..
I also do think that it is not just mediaplay just for the sake of mediaplay. When this last evaluation happened starting last April 2022, yhs most likely hadn't decided the number of members yet and had just started playing with the chemistry of the remaining 7. In this last evaluation, that is what yhs and the other producers most likely were looking already more than their skills in singing or rapping or dancing. They already know much of it through the individual evaluations for years.
It feels like a mediaplay because this happened last year but in fans' perception, the date didn't mean much and yg did not really clarify the date anyway (we could only surmise based on ygas' activities during that time like Jennie's orange hair) Actually in the Last Evaluation teaser, they even said the words (non verbatim "will show you the last evaluation that led to choosing the (7) members" so in a sense, the whole evaluation is done (hence why Jihoon of Treasure even congratulated them in one of their weverse live lol)
I feel bad for Haram. She prob practiced that part many times
If you watched blackpink covers like Sure Thing in front of JYP itself, you will know what yoon is talking about. Performance is not about you'd practice, its about how you feel the song naturally. As a product of survival show like them, their criticism is a must and must heard by baemon for them to be prepared to face the real world of k-pop once they debute. They praised their vocals, they just want the movements be better and natural.

I don’t think anyone is getting eliminated. It’s probably a marketing ploy. YG would get a lot of hate if he does eliminate one of them

In the past week, fans took pictures of Asa, Chiquita, Pharita, Ahyeon, and Ruka outside or closed to YG building so I think these 5 will for sure debut. If someone will be eliminated, it might be Haram and Rora because we don’t see any pics of them lately

i dont think they will eliminate 2 koreans (with great vocals) and keep just 1 coz they are a kpop group. lets believe all 7 will debut.
I think Baemon's take on STAY was good. 💖 How they made it their own. Not just the "na, na, na" part, but all those other small parts that was different. They could have easily sung it exactly the same, but it was bold of them to change it up.
As far a performance, there's so much you can do with this type of song, but I guess it's what Haram stated, that it did feel a little too coordinated.
Honestly, I didn't even notice, cuz I was so invested in their singing, but if they're going to be K-Pop Idols, then all these critiques is what will push you to that next level. Especially, with the 4th gen girl groups. There's a LOT of competition.😬
yeah it looked great for us because of camera work and all but we gotta remember the judges are all watching in front of them so things can look kinda boring
They always look down and eyes closed I think that's why. You can do this ofc if you feeling the song (also normal performances/practice video) BUT not with the evaluation. Because as Jennie said "Who is my audience?" Evaluators are very important so you should look at them and let them feel what your singing.
this was filmed a while ago. Is it possible they did eliminate someone, but later realized it was better with seven?
Don't be fooled by the teaser and falling on the same trap. I believe It's all media play; like when Lisa yells "STOP" and the camera shows Haram crying, it's not what actually happen right? 😅
Ruka interview could be interpreted to three things when she got asked about elimination:
1. SHE got eliminated
2. SOMEONE got eliminated
3. NO ONE got eliminated
4. JUST her opinion

Regarding EP3 Team B performance, don't worry guys, it's not like their performance is bad. It's just their choreography on stage is too stiff, especially when you compared them to Team A. Chiquita, Asa, Rora, and Haram do sing very well. 🤧
To anyone who think YG being too harsh and critical and can't see Haram crying, you know that critics is good, they will learn something from it and shows better in the future as an idol.
It's part of the process, they can't babysit them, Babymonster must learn the harsh reality. When they debut, netizen and public's words will be far more ridiculous than what they did. 🥵
What do you think when netizen, public, and even fans said that Jennie is lazy, Jisoo can't dance, etc? If they can't take all the critics and harsh judgement since their trainee day, there's no way they can't shake it off and not be bothered about it.
We should appreciate their hardship, but don't be soft. We are watching legends in the making. ❤🔥

this prob just media-play, there are literally videos from OP of Asa, Ruka, Ahyeon, Chiquita, and Pharita leaving YG not long ago, Ruka was also seen leaving YG building YESTERDAY after practice, Haram videos as BABYMONSTER member at school are everywhere, although we haven't saw Rora but there's no way she's gonna get eliminated she just live with her parents and busy with school that's might be reason why we barely saw her..
Or this might also be a strategy of YG to make fans think it's Rora who failed.

It's different for you, because you're watching from the screen (closer to them, with closeups). But to the people there, they are far away and can just see one angle. What Jennie said really happened to them.

Remember that Pink Punk was supposed to be 9 and according to Teddy the first time they had just Jisoo, Jennie, Rose', & Lisa paired up - as soon as they (Teddy, YG, and the other decision makers) heard just those 4 together they knew for sure it was going to be just those 4 and that gave us Blackpink. I have always wondered when in the process did that pairing happen. Rose' was their 4 years and 2 months so how long did it take them to pair just our 4 superstars for the first time?
I think it is hard for individuals like us that dont work in that industry closely to understand the corporate staff structure that is involved in all aspects of the final selection. Its like the same with a national grocery store chain deciding what products to sell.
But Jennie even hav said that the group of BP happnd one of the reasons bcoz when 4 of them put in one team, they always click together not having any argument...so maybe the big boss of yg entertainment look from that side also to avoid future problems...

I agree with the judges, this wasn’t their best. “Stay “is a tough song though.
I disagree with the judges about their stage presence being too stiff. It’s “Stay”… it’s a slightly melancholy tune they aren’t going to be bouncing around on stage.
I think they didn't translate it well. What Seungyoon meant was that all the movement seems too calculated, and not natural.
By stiff yoon meant they were too conscious with their expression and movement. It felt like they were memorizing more than being natural

agree with Winner and Akmu's comment.... STAY was sang beautifully but the performance was lacking. And i felt bad for Haram for crying, i'm sure she's doing her best but a comment from YG himself (the executive producer, founder and owner of YG??) that would be nerve racking! I remember during Winner, iKON and Treasure days, the boys would do everything just to get noticed by YG doesn't matter if its good or bad cos it would mean YG noticed them and is actually paying attention to them. I hope they debut as 7 cos what's the point of marketing them all if they don't get to debut? if they don't debut all maybe they will put some to blacklabel since they are currently putting up a new gg too?

I feel they didn't follow through with Jennie's advice. When singing you need to think of your audience. I see they closed their eyes too much and project their feelings to the audience or face the audiences.
I doubt it's a lie, these people aren't kidding, they never said there were going to be seven, there were seven shortlisted, but later they evaluate aspects that we don't handle. It's nice to say I want all seven to debut, but this is a business, like it or not. It happened before with Blackpink, there were going to be more than four, and finally it was not like that, and nobody died.
If any do fail the final cut I would like to think that wouldnt be the end of their careers. It pretty well was with the Pink Punk group members tho. Thats a hard fail that is hard to come back from
@@TrumanLakeTriton True. It's a tough business and not sure about the other 3 trainees that got cut, but at least one trainee, Miyeon, got on a successful Kpop group with Gidle.
But, I know deep inside, seeing the global success of Blackpink, she will never forget that moment she got cut and probably stings a little. At least, I will never forget it.
With that said, Miyeon is really beautiful, talented and the best singer on that group, so it's not about the talent or look, but who fits the best and I guess YG, Teddy, etc., saw that the 4 Blackpink members was the best in the end and it ended up being so true.

@@TrumanLakeTriton Same. I like G-Idle and XG, too! Honestly, I just found out about Miyeon during the pandemic when someone showed me a pic with her and Blackpink. I was so shocked. You should Google it. It's crazy seeing her between Jennie and Rose. Some people say that she was the LAST to get cut and Blackpink was almost a 5 member group. If it's true, that must have been a tough decision.
I haven’t seen enough from Haram and Rora compared to the other girls in these spotlight videos…i have a feeling it could be one or both of them getting cut from the group. They are also the girls being shown breaking down to tears over the tiniest criticisms… but there’s still a lot of behind the scenes stuff we aren’t seeing. So , I’m still in suspense as to what the final group end up.
I can guarantee I’m not going to be sitting around second guessing YG as to who ends up debuting.
No one will get eliminated and if they do, they wont cut 2 out of the 3 Korean members.

In terms of dancing skill definitely she is better than others, on the other hand due to having long hand& leg Haram faces difficulty to control movement.
Obviously she would seem that way, since the skills initially showcased were vocals. But to people who know the nature of YGAs, we know there's no way they'll let Ruka go. In terms of dancing and rapping, she's the embodiment of YG. However, I have no reason defending her any more than this since for the past week or two she's already been spotted going in and out of the YG bldg with the other BMs. And we all know that this series was filmed mid last year.
