What ...no Wasilla 👈
And Valdez.
Very nice presentation. Price of Housing with COVID pandamic???
@Kyle Hanneman You know I haven't been there personally, but it is on my to-do list for the upcoming year!
Thinking about Palmer Alaska
Thinking about moving to Palmer Alaska please reply
My husband and I love Alaska. If we were a bit younger and our family would go with us, we would move there in an instant. I hope Alaska never changes. It is the most special place on earth.
Too bad Biden just authorized oil drilling up there!
I grew up in Alaska and lived their 26 years, most of my life, I have many friends there to this day, sure some moved out of Alaska like I did, but it is so special, and I can't help but miss it some days. I don't always miss the snow, but the winter in Alaska really makes you appreciate your family and friends, to say nothing of the wildlife sharing the roads and sidewalks with us on a daily basis, maybe you'll be lucky enough to see a moose or two, either crossing the street, I don't know why to this day, "Why did the moose cross the road?" or maybe you'll see them near the airport. They tend to come into the city most often during the winter months because food is easier for them to find. So this often leads to moose on car collisions, sometimes the moose is just hurt, but other times they are killed. It happens so frequently that the Municipality of Anchorage will donate whatever meat can be salvaged, as to prevent the deceased moose from going to waste, it's a city that loves its wildlife.
Great information! Thanks for taking the time to share.
My pleasure!
Took a trip last year to see a buddy in homer and fell in love with alaska. One of my favorite channels I am subbed to! Keep up the good work brother!! Cant wait to move to Alaska.
That's awesome! Thank you :)
I’ve never been but would love to someday. It’s so beautiful! Thank you for the helpful info!
You should!
When you do, be sure to avoid Anchorage and Palmer, unless you like crime, COVID, earthquakes and Trump humpers.
Never been but you definitely made me want to visit. Thanks for sharing 😊
Dhana Clarkson Thank you for watching!
This is super helpful! I'd never have known which are the best cities in Alaska if it weren't for you!
Glad it was helpful!
My brother and his wife live in Anchorage, him being in the Army and his wife being in the Air Force, I'm sure you can guess where they spend most of their time. I've been up a couple times to visit them and I've fallen in love with the state. I'm hoping to live there myself in the next few years. You should put together a video on the smaller towns/"suburbs" outside Anchorage (like Wasilla) that offer good living (cost of living/job market) but still within reasonable striking distance of Anchorage (say, a couple hours or so).
Love your content!!
The water between Juneau and Douglas Island (reason for bridge) I believe is part of and referred to as the Gastineau Channel.
That's what it is!
Love Alaska.. my husband and I bought land in Delta Junction. After a while we want to buy more land around Fairbanks. Love the people and all around environment. Can’t wait to for spring
That's an awesome part of the state! Yall are living the dream.
Very recently took a cruise to Alaska. And enjoyed visiting Skagway for the history it offered. And also the city of Sitka, my favorite. It was such a beautiful little town. We took a whale watching trip on the sound. Such a beautiful scenic and Picturesque little place.
Ready for my first trip. Unfortunately, it has to be in October. Can't wait to see my son. Haven't seen him in over two years.
That's exciting! You're going to get here for the autumn colors, the best time of the year in my private opinion :)
I have a 24/7 remote job, so which city has the best internet connections?
Thank you so much in advance!!!:)
Appreciate your videos, good wholesome informations.
Any experience visiting small remote communities in the arctic/sub arctic? Like Kotzebue or Wales? Or possibly in the interior north of Fairbanks closer to the Brooks Mountain Range? Good informative video, thank you!
Not really that far up north. Even where I'm at, it's still roughly a 400-500 mile drive to the Arctic and even further to Kotzebue and Wales. I know people who have lived there though. Do you have specific questions about them?
I'll be moving a Juneau soon, really excited and I'm hoping it also has a kinda laid back flavor to it....or at least laid back compared to my last few places. (DC and NC.)
How are you adjusting and your insight about Juneau...I'm considering a job offer to be relocated there right now but the accessibility concerns me some...so does from what I have learned is seldom have snow in the communities instead have cold rain/drizzle.... I guess purchase whatever vehicle is offered unless ship your own vehicles in...and being isolated it seems could be held hostage price wise... I would need a residence with electricity, gas, water and prefer to have at least 5-10 acres of land...I worry, at 56yrs old considering this may be foolish and the attractive pay may be offset by the high cost of living there...Juggling the pros and cons without knowing the pros and cons...hence, me doing my obligatory CZcams due diligence at the moment....
@@Capt_OscarMike so it definitely rains alot since you'd be right next to the tongass forest. Its usually around the 30's to 40's and gets higher around may and can be around 1 degree or less during the winter when it snows alot. I lived there in an apartment where everything was included except internet for around 1200 a month but my collegues at the time were constantly talking about property there being very expensive to buy since its such a small place. Vehicles are definitely more expensive. My friend had a 2010 truck that was like 17k. That being said if you love nature and hiking and whatnot. Its fantastic for that.
I lived in Palmer, Alaska for over a decade. It's an amazing place. (Though I kind of feel like he shouldn't be letting the secret out.) I would disagree, though, with the inclusion of Fairbanks. Of course there are some people who love it, but Fairbanks requires a very particular kind of person to enjoy it. The -40F temps aren't even the worst part of living there. You also have to contend with "Ice Fog" and air quality that is worse than Beijing (due to Fairbanks being in a bowl that traps all of the particulates from the wood stoves). And outsiders might not realize that Fairbanks is about as far from Anchorage as Buffalo, NY is from Washington, DC. It's way up there.
I am so wanting to relocate there Soon! I am doing Research Right Now!
When I develop my resort town in Alaska, it'll be #1 for sure! Just your fellow American with ideas. 😎
We got that to look forward to! :)
Seward rocks!! I’ve always loved it
It's an awesome town!
From seeing these vids, I can't get over how beautiful the State of Alaska actually is including the Cities.
Its a fair distance from Atlantic Canada, however, it's definitely on our to do list. More videos please 😀
Take it from someone who grew up there, it's beautiful, and sometimes called "the last frontier" it's even in the state anthem, "the simple flag of the last frontier". This is partially because of how wild and untamed the majority of the state is, totally untouched over thousands, or tens of thousands of years. Primeval forests, vast great colorful plains with the occasional caribou herd, countless lakes. I could go on, but it really grows on you, and sometimes I wonder what would I be like if I hadn't grown up in such a state as Alaska. It's part of me, and it will always be that way, I might live in Colorado today, but I am, always be, Alaskan.
@@forexed8948 Sounds like a stunningly beautiful part of the Country to visit forexed. You should be working for the tourism industry.
What is the best time of year for traveling in and around Alaska. Where would you go, and why?
Maybe we'll get there this year after the whole world heals from this pandemic.
@@ProMachinist To answer your questions, First one; It depends on what you like to do, if you like hiking, mountain climbing, fishing, or hunting, or other summer activities. Then your time for travel to Alaska is between the months of June and August. However, you will find there is an increase of daylight and a decrease of proper night time and darkness. This is due to the earth's tilt and proximity to the sun, so Alaska experiences its greatest amount of sunlight in those months. But if you're into winter sports, then your trip to Alaska should be between November and February. On the other hand this is when Alaska experiences it's least amount of daylight, so it will feel like your day is flying by when it's proceeding at its usual rate. Pack practical for Alaska, it is a state that is on many people's bucket lists. If I were to recommend locations, it'd be varied by what you, the customer, like to do. However, should you go hiking at any park, I must advise that you exercise caution. During the summer months Alaska experiences Bear activity. These are usually inland or coastal brown bears, and please, do not try to feed the wildlife. Moose may look like overgrown cattle, but they are among the states most dangerous animals. Bears are self explanatory, now if you're up for a road trip, I'd recommend visiting the port town of Seward. But if you wish to remain around your hotel, then I'd recommend Fairbanks, my hometown of Anchorage, or our state capital of Juneau. Don't be too surprised by the various influences dotting the state, the British were here, the Russians were here, among others. Anchorage is in fact, the state's largest city, though it pales in comparison to other cities. like Houston Texas, Seattle Washington, San Francisco California, or other cities. I in fact, worked in the tourism industry from 2016 to 2020 when we got hit by the Covid.
@@forexed8948 Thankyou forexed for helping us plan out our next vacation, hopefully this year. You actually planned it for us, thank you.
Not sure if we will take the extra time needed to drive from Atlantic Canada and back or fly. You painted us a beautiful picture of a State that we have been wanting to see first hand forever. However, the journey of just getting there would be a great experience in itself.
We are surrounded by brooks, lakes, mountains and beaches here too. Its just isn't Alaska. Now the big question is, do we fly, or do we drive. Guess it may all depend on how well the world is healed when we're ready to go. Thanks again for your valuable resources. Andy..
@@ProMachinist my pleasure.
Moving up to Kotzebue this summer, can't wait. Never been to Alaska.
That's going to be a ton of fun! I've only heard good things about Kotz.
Blessings! Can You share about Fairbanks, North Pole, and Esther, along with Anchorage?
Hi! Do you have suggestions for rental home for mid June 2022? I’m planning to come up for work and hopefully stay in Anchorage! Possibly the Eagle River area you mentioned?
Also, what are the prices up there for houses and land/properties?? Would love to hear more about this. Thank you!
I had girlfriends from AK. one from Barrow and one from Juneau when I was going to public school. I have friends that live in Anchorage, in the Fairbanks and North Pole area.
Love north pole
Any experience visiting small remote communities in the arctic/sub arctic? Like Kotezbue or Wales? Or possibly in the interior north of Fairbanks closer to the Brooks Mountain Range?
I've spent some time in Fairbanks. It is a good spot to go if you plan on traveling to the surrounding mountains or do fishing/rafting. What interests you about the remote communities?
If anyone has seen Haines from the Inside Passage, you could find yourself wanting to live there with the mountains in the background.
Mendenhall valley in Juneau is residential and good schools. Douglas Island is across the inlet on a bridge. It’s residential with the Hockey arena and one of two Schools…
I live in Homer, it is absolutely beautiful but too small for me. Might check out Anchorage soon.
Homer is a great place to visit, but it sounds like it would be tough to live there with being so far away from anything.
Since you did this alphabetically, I was sure you were going to say Valdez for the last one. I've never been there but it's on my bucket list.
haha! It's a nice little town. I've never been there in summer, but the drive is awesome.
Planning on building a homestead with some buddies around fairbanks after I finish college, any tips on things I should know about building multiple houses on one lot? I know zoning can be a problem sometimes but I don’t understand it too well.
Yup, make sure you test for water and the septic system before you start building. That will be a disaster if you go through all the work to get lumber, supplies, etc and find out you can't build where you thought you could. That, and really do some soul searching to make sure that's the lifestyle you want to do. It really will put a strain on you if it's not.
We are about an hr out of Fairbanks....no regulation here aside from septic. Build what u want, how u want....but keep in mind what u build may not be bank financable. We live in a about 2700 sq ft cabin or lodge as some call it. It was hand built(log) and is not financable based on it not meeting code and flood regs. To add...if u plan to "homestead" u will want/need a tractor(good luck on finding a good used unit for a decent price) a sawmill or someone like myself willing to cut for u...a slough of tools and other things i could spend hrs writing about. It CAN all be done by hand but wont be easy....summer heat and bugs. If i could figure out how to edit video id love to share our experience online...the truth about your homestead dreams...lol
I would like to know about the towns of Kodiak, and Homer. They weren't mentioned in this video, And I am looking at one of them to move to when I finally get the chance to move to Alaska, but I'm having a hard time deciding which one of the two.
I've spent a good amount of time in Homer, but unfortunately I haven't been to Kodiak (I am looking to change that though 🙂). Home is really quaint and, more importantly, it's connected to the mainland by road so it's a lot more convenient. Do you have specific questions about Homer I can help you with?
@@alaska_realtor Lived in Kodiak since 1985 . . It's a true working town . Good wages for those with good work ethics . Cost of living is high and travel to and from the Island is expensive but our weather in very mild compared to the rest of the state and It's a great place to raise a family . If rain is alright with you and you love the outdoors then you can't go wrong .
The beautiful mountain ranges and scenic views alone would have me move out of my small town in Ireland to Alaska if I had the money 😂
I'm sure we can work out an exchange program with an Alaskan who wants to live in Ireland! lol
And I'm in the north, in Russia, and I'm enjoying watching videos about Alaska;) This is a special place..
Thanks for sharing this video, honestly I've heard a lot about Alaska. However, I wanna ask how possible can it be to relocate from Nigeria to Alaska? Am from Nigeria in West Africa.
I don't know how easy it is, but I have met quite a few Nigerians here in Anchorage.
I was born and raised in anchorage my family still live in eagle river
You've got some deep roots in the area!
Hey, I was born in Anchorage, Alaska
Hey im a bit late but id love to know the best town or city that has a great mountain for skiing
What area do you think it would be best to open a Vietnamese restaurant?
Thank you!!!
Sincerely,
Minh
Valdez is definitely the most beautiful place I've ever visited in the country
Isn't it??? I'm planning a trip down there in the near future. It's been years since I've visited.
Is it possible in the Seward area to get a small plot of 1 to2 acres out of town to build a small house on? How about the Juneau area including Douglas island?
I'm sure it's possible but there is limited real estate in those areas and they aren't really my areas of expertise. Do you want me to put you in contact with some agents who specialize in those areas?
Agree with Seward. But you can keep the other four. My top five are Talkeetna, Seward, and Homer. Yeah, I know that's only three.
If you don't mind the occasional difficulty of going other places, you an add Sitka, Seldovia, and Kodiak.
Hmmm, you know I can really see rearranging the list for Homer and I have not been to Kodiak. Looking at going maybe in the next few weeks. Do you have recommendations for things to do there?
Ситка классный город?
Hey what about Ketchikan, Sitka or Wasilla.... I never been to Alaska or visit those cities by heard a lot of great things about them from people who actually from there or vacation....Even seeing these CZcams videos. I was thinking about taking a seasonal job in Alaska but undecided what cities or town to do it in!!!!!
Those are nice cities, I'm a little partial to Wasilla myself just because I do so much business there of course :) What kind of seasonal work would you do? Ketchikan and Sitka might feel a little claustrophobic if you're not ready for more isolation than most people are used to.
@@alaska_realtor I was thinking about working at a wildlife reserve facility or a natural tours...But I would love to also work with the sled dogs....I am working in the education department at our state city zoo!!!
Sitka is beautiful but very very small and mostly fishermen wharf type atmosphere. Wasilla is a great suburb :-) you would love it. You have all the conveniences of shops like target, walmart etc but still a close drive to hiking in the woods or poppin down to anchorage. just IMO :)
Found Houston Alaska on the way to Fairbanks from Anchorage nice interesting small town
I'm coming to Alaska to visit family and rent a RV for a week next month. We are heading to Seward and Homer from Anchorage. My family lived in Soldotna for many years and I'd like to stop there also. Any area you can recommend along the way?
Yes! If you're in Seward, catch a sight seeing cruise, go jet skiing to a glacier, or hike Hardee Icefields. Kayaking is also pretty fun.
What cities in AK. would you recommend seeing the Northern Lights?
When looking for the northern lights, you want to go somewhere north. Fairbanks is great because it's really dark in the winter. We can see the northern lights in Anchorage as well, but if you drive north it gets brighter and more active. Thanks for watching, and don't forget to subscribe for more Alaskan living and real estate updates! 😊
If I were looking to open a little country grocery store in alaska what small rural town would you recommend? I am looking for an area without alot of competition around, INTERNET is a must and preferably low crime rate... any information is greatly appreciated... thank you and love the videos, alaska truly is beautiful 😍
You know, that's a good question. There are a number of places I would love to live, but I don't know how the grocery store scene is inside of them though. Palmer, Seward, Valdez, maybe Trappers Creek come to mind. Where are you coming from?
I am coming from Raleigh, North Carolina... Thank you, I will research the city's you named off. Big move for me. But extremely ready to get out of the heat!!!
Hi I wanted to ask you do people do gig jobs up in Alaska like instacart or doordash
Hello I live in Alaska. I have been around Alaska alittle bit my top three would be
1.homer beautiful outlook all around.
2.seward
3.Anchor point small town up north from homer.
It's really hard to go wrong with any of those. Seward is my go-to when I need to get out of town for a bit lol
Thank you for your informative and honest videos! Can you let us know how the single life is for men and women? Is is mostly couples and families there, or is there a life there for singles?? Opportunities to meet and connect with others very easily, or no? Meet up groups? I'm considering moving to southern part of AK but don't want to be totally bored out of my mind being single. Also, what do you say about moving to one of the smaller islands such as Sitka or Ketchikan??
Hey, I just moved up here in my rv, looking for land, I had the same concern being single, I just went for it!
Soldotna and Kenai? Getting ready to move up there in a couple of months. Soldotna/Funny River area.
Great little communities. The times I've been there they seemed a bit chaotic, but it's always been dip netting season that I've gone so that's probably why lol
I have been to all 5 of them. I enjoyed all 5.
Hard to go wrong with those! Did you have any others that you really liked?
I'd like to know more about Valdez and North Poll... cost of living, costs of homes, cost of apartments, cost of motel/ hotels, costs of camping, average costs of utilities, town size, year round climates, attractions, things to do, types of restaurants, shopping, medical, hospitals, types of raw land/ acreage for sale etc..
Compared to most of California, Washington, and Oregon, it’s low! At least in terms of housing. But food is expensive. A pound of ground beef at Fred Meyers will run at least $7. Restaurants will serve mediocre food at best. Many places come and go. If you’re a Texan that likes good BBQ or Tex-Mex, forget it! If you’re an all-American that likes good roast beef dinners, fried chicken, and the like, forget it as well. But if you’re willing to go to a place serving okay pizzas and frozen food dressed up and not judge it, you’re fine!
Beautiful views
Yes they are
Eagle River is where its at my man! moved here in 98 rents still have the original house where as i live down eagle river rd! great video
No way! That's awesome. Also, can't believe I'm just now seeing this!
Info on Port protection, Alaska thinking about moving there
I visited seward, its nce, but it rains a lot in the summer.
That's a good point. It's really a tiny, quaint Seattle in a lot of ways.
I'd love a town that isn't dry, and has snow!!! I love snow!!!
Pretty much all towns in AK fits that description! :)
Looking to move back up there. Seward is my number one destination. Just need to land a job 🙏
Hello from Northern California in Dunsmuir California yes I am moving to Palmer , Alaska within two weeks I have my family who lives in Anchorage , Alaska looking forward to staying close to my family and living i Alaska to start my new life in Palmer Alaska - Alaska here I come !!!!

Hey Jared, what are your thoughts of moving to Soldotna? We're from Montana and would really like to visit the Kenai/Soldotna area very soon. Hopefully this summer, depending on how Covid travel is by then. Thank you
It's a nice little town, heavily dependent on tourism for most of its businesses and then it becomes a sleepy little town in the winter. You definitely need to visit to check it because for some people it's awesome and for other people they don't like it. What part of Montana are you from? I lived in Hardin and Great Falls for nearly a decade.
@@alaska_realtor oh cool! We from Anaconda (Southwest Montana). My wife is a nurse and I am a police officer, it's my understanding that Soldotna has the main hospital on the Peninsula? We don't really mind a sleepy little town, Anaconda is a town of about 8,000-9,000 people.
@@richardpasha9332 It sounds like that would be a good fit for yall! I don't personally work down there, but are yall currently working with a realtor to answer your questions specifically for that area?
@@alaska_realtor not yet, we're going to try to take a little vacation up there this summer to check out the area. No point in wasting a realtors time, until we visit, actually decide that we're doing it and at least one of us secures employment up there.
@@alaska_realtor what areas do you mainly work in?
I'm considering moving to Fairbanks, Soldotna, or Palmer. I'm this nature geek and would really like to know where y'all would suggest me to go.
All those places are great, but it really depends what in addition to nature you like. Are there specific activities? Do you care about the culture of the town that you're closest to?
@@alaska_realtor I'm not too familiar with the culture of them because I've only traveled there. I've got a job offer which allows me to move to any one of those three cities, and I'd just like to know where it'd have the best quality of life and nature (because I am absolutely in love with the natural world). I would also really like a place where I'd be able to go skiing in the winter, haha!
P.S. Thanks for everything you do on this channel! The content is fantastic.
You should put town names in the description. What was that last one? Sewage? Sewered?

Why didn't Ketchikan make the list? Most of these towns are around Anchorage... I feel a little bias here.😀 What can you tell me about Ketchikan?
Can you tell me about port Alexandra Alaska to visit
Hey bro, I am 58 years old and Alaska has been on my bucket list as long as I can remember. My son and I are looking to travel to Alaska towns and cities soon . We are looking for a taste of Alaska this year, and then purchase hunting and fishing property next year . We want to make this happen in the next few weeks. We would love to talk about this stuff with you . That’s
That's exciting! Feel free to reach out through my website or Instagram. I'm in Barrow at the moment so communicating is a hit or miss.
Curious how your plans worked out. Curious if you were looking to purchase just property or purchase property with a residence already constructed....the reason I ask is I've been contacted about an executive position at the SouthEast Alaska Hospital...I'm 56yrs old...my wife is a Medical Doctor but not certain she would follow me....I did have a heart attack a couple years ago so not as active or able to get out and about as did prior...I was born as far from Alaska as anyone in the US could be, Miami-Dade and lived in Homestead....the past 30yrs I've lived in Alabama but have also yearned to live outside of the South.... My concern about Junaeu is it not being accessible...I guess people who move there purchase vehicles in town and everything there will be more expensive than any other place in AK due to the in essence being on an island...I do have my Private Pilot License but it seems they receive much more rain than they do snow or sunny days. I would prefer snow vsthe 33-35'F cold rains we experience during WInters where I am now...or at least I think I would...I'm just Not sure at 56yrs old almost 57yrs old if my window to start n a different location has closed or not.
What's your thoughts about this Gentlemen... Seems to be a good guy and knowledgeable plus with him being from TX adds credibility to his insight from my perspective as someone from the SouthEast US...I know he's based out of Anchorage and maybe that's where I should focus if AK is a destination... the pay is attractive but cost of living may mitigate or result in a net loss...I also want my own residence with land...not too much but enough to enjoy with my kids and one day even Grandchildren if blessed enough to still be around...Anyway, sorry to ramble...
How would I be able to reach out to you I’m thinking on moving from Texas there?
I live in Anchorage but am planning to buy a house next year. I would love to see which is best between it and the Matsu Valley.
It really depends on how far you're wanting to drive and your lifestyle. If you're looking purely for most bang for your buck, MatSu Valley. If you need something without a commute, Anchorage. Would you be working in Anchorage?
@@alaska_realtor my division can work from for the foreseeable future should we like. So it’s not really an issue on the driving.

Do you have any recommendations for a realtor for rentals in Juneau
When are you going there? I don't personally know anyone who specializes in rentals, but give Platinum a call and see if they know anyone.
My great great grandfather was the co-founder of Juneau and my great great grandmother was from Hoonah. 5th generation Juneau resident and all I want to do is leave. Can't even afford to buy my own house here, it's sad.
That's rough. Despite how long your family has been there, if it's not the best place for you it's not the best for you. Do you prefer the warmer climate/less cloudy?
@@alaska_realtor The weather has never been a factor, i'm not some sissy from California. It's the fact that landlords have taken over the area. You pay an arm and a leg for a POS place they have a nerve to call a house. A surge in criminals trying to escape the lower 48 have moved in droves, especially those on the sex offender registry. A surge of rich brats moving in droves to raise the property even higher. Tourist industry has stolen our economy. Murder and crime at an all time high over the last decade. I knew the guy that was shot execution style behind Fred Meyers. Drug deals going on across the street at a children's park in broad daylight. State workers are all spoiled A**holes. Only the rich have the money to go have fun in the outdoors, most working class just work and drink themselves to death. The window washer at the business I worked at lit his girlfriend on fire and stalked two of my coworkers. You can't go downtown without a homeless person following you for money. Suicide is rampant and people wonder why. One thing about the weather that does strike a nerve though, is black ice. Killed a couple of my friends from high school and my aunt.
Alaska is my ancestral home and we are being driven out.
I want to relocate to one of the small coastal towns.
That's great! Do you know which one or have a list? Also, you're not Kevin Green from the Bigger Pockets podcast, are you? :)
@@alaska_realtor I haven't decided yet and there are so many, including Ketchikan, Seward, Gustavus. I'm a different Kevin. lol
What are your thoughts on homer and soldotna?
They're both good. Homer is a little isolated for me (literally end of the road) and Soldotna is more central on the Kenai while you still have a small town vibe. Depends if you're wanting to just visit or live somewhere I suppose
I’m just curious can regular people live in barrow Alaska
Yes you can but the job opportunities are on the extremely limited side, and you get that entire month or two of complete darkness. Pretty extreme. :D
Tributary?
I'm disabled. What's the low income rental situation like? I'm now in Albuquerque, in a 2/1 for $715/month utilities included.
There are certianly places where you can find something similar to that, but you would need to compare the area next to a crime map and see how comfortable you are with the area.
Can you give information on Disability . Do you receive from State your salary or is this federal . Is each states different . Texas is rich . No state taxes ???
I want to come up and as I'm working I'm going to be doing a good job if it's allowed and if it's accepted in all of this
I will plan to move there .
Which city has the best nature?
Homer was by far my favorite!
Toke Alaska and north pole is great to
You could make your video much better if you placed maps showing the location in Alaska of each of these places as you mention them.
Anyway I can get in contact with a reputable realtor for Alaska?
You're talking to one lol What questions do you have?
Hi .. What are the option for a foreigner to migrate to Alaska on a permanent basis?
Good question. What do you mean by "options"? There are a lot of jobs with the tourist industry and it's really the same as migrating to any other state in the US as far the process goes.
How about Sitka? Why is real estate so expensive there?
You didn't mention any places in the northern half of the state.
Well, Halloween is coming up soon, so I'd like to see something on McCarthy...
..if...you...dare!!! 😲😵😱
Ok, it probably isn't THAT bad, but it would definitely be an interesting vid
(Seriously, don't go anywhere that might be dangerous).
hahaha! I actually have my eyes on a house already. Really spooky. Stay tuned!
Hey you forgot about Nome and Utqiavik (Barrow)
Never been, so I would have to rely on secondhand opinions lol
Man... I need to save up money so I can have people recommend me where to move next.
I am moving to Anchorage September 1st 2021
That's great! What's bringing you up here?
I believe homer is my favorite town in Alaska. It’s a drinking village with a fishing problem. LOL. Is the slogan. Also its the halibut capital of the world.
Can't argue with that! lol
Cool 😎 maybe I see these places one day
How are you doing today and how’s the weather over there with you?
@@davidrichard1031 good
Nice communicating with you
Where are you from?
@@davidrichard1031 live in jersey
How did Ketchikan not make the list?
You know it's honestly been so long that I was there that I forgot about it lol
What about Sitka?
Can you tell me about north pole? My wife and I are considering moving there.
You know, I personally haven't spent a lot of time there. Fairbanks/North Pole are in the interior and that's a more extreme part of the state. It does get a lot colder there in the winter and hotter in the summer than the rest of the state. What's appealing about North Pole?
@@alaska_realtor to be completely honest the Christmas atmosphere and the Santa Claus house.
Greasemonkey Dad The atmosphere is appealing! The only thing I would make sure you know is that the interior is going to be bit more extreme than the rest of the state. As long as y’all realize what you’re getting into it’s fine :) have y’all visited Alaska?
@Kevin O It can be pretty expensive. Most of the reason for that is that it's so isolated. Most of the jobs there are either for the government or for the tourist industry.
@Kevin O That can be arranged :) Do you have questions about moving there?
1. Anchorage
2. Fairbanks
3. Juneau
4. Palmer
5. Sewer
Yeah, I'm kinda torn between Seward and Homer at this point though....maybe a future video is in order
There's nothing like living in the Sewer. Definitely a dream for most people...
What about nightlife in Alaska ? Not sure if you've recorder a video about that but it would be awesome :D . I wonder what are the chances of meeting somebody? Either women or friends. So the question that arises is what is the social life there ?
Just like anywhere else
