Other than the opening where Chase says they've had great offseason workouts and are getting better, the entire video is a montage of games & frolic: tug--of-war, dodge ball, camera-mugging, and a long segment on social media monikers..."we've had a lot of fun."
You would think there would be a little more serious attitude - a definite chip - coming from a group that got rolled over in the Big 12 last year and downright humiliated on the field in many games. BYU did not play a complete game all last year - even against lesser non-conference opponents in September. It wasn't BYU football.
And the basketball team has proven that with the right approaches, you don't need a 3-5-year ramp-up to be successful in a P5 conference.
It's all in the group and individual attitude: Set your definite objective to win the conference THIS YEAR, and then ask: What do we need to do or change over the next 5 1/2 months to prepare and make that happen? Whatever it takes...
