She had CHARM and possessed a NIGHTMARE BEAUTY!!! She was also a successful woman in the arts for a good decade. I sincerely hope to be able to meet her BEAUTIFUL and HAPPY again in her new home and sing with JANE and endlessly a hymn that will vehemently make all the souls of heaven gasp: “JE T’AIME”…!!! 💔❤
Jane B released her latest self-penned album in 2020, her sixth decade of work. She was active and successful throughout her life.
It’s ironic that a bag is named after her and it costs so much because I don’t think the real Jane Birkin would have paid so much for it.

Jane Birkin was known for carrying a lot of stuff, and in those days, bags weren’t spacious enough for her necessities, so she had to use a basket. That’s why the Birkin was made-to carry a bunch of stuff-and the fact that all these celebrities and rich people who think the Birkin was just made as a status symbol are the ones who make the bag look bad; they don’t use it for what it was made for; they just wear it because it’s expensive.
