Electric Callboy are insanely talented. A rare band where every song is as good as the next. You NEED to check them out more and collab. Also, it's their guitarist and his brother that do all their videos.

As a German, it makes me incredibly happy to see you checking out Electric Callboy, they're fantastic. Fun fact: The hairstyle they gave to the pony, the bangs, is called "pony" here in Germany, so I would assume it's kind of a pun.
Also, the guy who comes out of the trailer at the end screams: "What's going on here? Piss off, you rags!"
The end also is a soft transition into their next song, "Pump it" :D Will should totally ceck out more from the guys.

Tell me about it. I had to leave early for the Lorna Shore set to over the the EC tent. But it was packed. Both sets were awesome though.
In last years Summer Breeze, EC was on the day before Lorna Shore. But one after the other is way closer^^

Lorna Shore and Electric Callboy are 2 bands I'd like to see. I'm from Ukraine but now I live in Germany. Just before the beginning of the war I discovered Electric Callboy and immediately liked them. I knew about Lorna Shore too and heard "To The Hellfire" several times but the deathcore genre was too heavy for me. In March 2022 I spent one month without electricity, internet, proper mobile connection and listening only explosions instead of music. Then I decided to flee to Germany. I still can't recover from this terrible war. In October 2022 after the release of "Pain Remains" I became a fan of Lorna Shore cause this music blew my mind. Since October I listen almost every day to the tracks of this album. It saves me from depression. I had suicidal thoughts on October 22, it was my birthday. But Pain Remains saved me. I was listening the whole night this trilogy and weeping.
I'd like to see both bands. I didn't manage to do that till this moment cause tickets for both bands sell out quickly.

Will and all of Lorna Shore are amazing live. I wanna see EC, hopefully they come to where I live in the future.
Both Lorna Shore and Electric Callboy will be playing in Den Bosch on november 5th at the Rock Circus indoor festival. Depending where in Germany you are at, it might be close by.
There are still some tickets left for the EC shows in February 2024 in Germany. I saw them this year in Munich and made it into the crowd in front of the stage where the party was. I had no such intense concert till then. I might try to see them again next year.

Saw them both this summer in Tuska Festival along with your Jinjer. All of them were awesome!
One of my favorite memories from this summer was first seeing Lorna Shore live, then running to the other end of the festival area where Electric Callboy was just about to start their set. Seeing them back to back, both for the first time was amazing, such different energies but both delivered 100% what an insane couple of hours to have.

This duo has been amazing. It’s so nice seeing someone like will just enjoy music and nerd out as much as the rest of us. And EC’s whole discography is a rabbit hole to dive into for sure 😂

As a metal head who loves cheesy electronic hard style and also trip hop, Electric Callboy are the answer to "what if Scooter?…but metal" in the same way Sleep Token are "what if Portishead?…but metal". I think I would have been floating ideas like this on an ecstasy come down after a rave 20 years ago and just love that it finally exists and is awesome!

as much as i loved seeing Will and Lorna Shore at Download Festival (they nailed it) i have to say Electric Callboy had the best set of the entire festival. they’re phenomenal live.

It was awesome at Tuska Festival this summer when Lorna Shore was performing first and right after was Electric Callboy! Almost cried I was so happy to see these two and at the same day
I was so pissed they were playing right after Lorna Shore, I was at Tuska just for LS and EC. The teltta stage (tai minkä niminen oli) was too small for EC, I didn't see anything but I enjoyed the music anyway.
It was CRAZY!!! I was at the front in the middle of the craziness 😂 never though EC gig would be my craziest experience in music festivals 😅 and I'm pissed because this song was The song I was waiting for and song before this i got double hit on my jaw and knee same time and had to go to firstaid tent and missed this. Well, something broke in my knee, but it didn't matter the rest of Tuska 😂
I had to miss Lorna Shore because I wanted to be at the first row at Electric Callboy :( EC went first 'coz I've been listening them since their second album as Eskimo Callboy.
And the first row was so wild and worth it!

Just so you know, although Nico takes the lead clean vocal and Kevin takes the lead harsh vocal, they often back each other up. So that 'harsh vocal harmony' is probably both of them together, with the extra layers blended in later.

It´s hard to believe, that there are still people out in the metal scene, that never have heard of Electric Callboy before, even if they are IN the scene, like will. I mean, they went through the roof the last couple of years, and literally everybody reacted to them already on youtube, they are kind of a little phenomenom already.
But i get it when you´re on tour yourself and don´t listen to much other stuff, because you don´t have the time.
Y’all’s friendship is so endearing, and I think it’s awesome that Elizabeth was introducing Will to some heavy music this time.

8:37 All of their music videos are done by their guitarist Pascal Schillo in collaboration with his brother. They go by "Schillo Brothers" and they own a video production company that's done music videos for a variety of bands and artists. :) Super talented! And all of their videos are worth the time to check them out. Hurrikan might be a proper treat both musically and video-wise!
So that explains why they have music videos for nearly every single song on the album, which is rather unprecendented.

He definitely brought something out in her. I have seen quite a few of her videos and I have *never* seen her move to the music before. She usually analyzes the music very deeply and methodically. She's almost dancing in this one. It's adorable.
I think a big part of this is that she's already familiar with the song and is instead getting a chance to share it with someone rather getting a first impressions video.

I love how you two come from completely opposite musical backgrounds but work together to give amazing reviews and analysis. I actually never heard of your band until I saw her video review for it, Which is insane since I grew up in hardcore!!! Whatever, I am here for it!!!!! You guys need a show, podcast, or anything, because you have amazing chemistry and its super fun to watch and really informative. Saw them at a festival and gotta say they had the most jam-packed, sweaty moshpit of the day.
In my 40 years, I’ve been to a lot of metal shows. Like, a lot. I’ve NEVER had more fun and simultaneously rocked HARDER than the TEKKNO tour. Nothing will stop me from seeing them again on their next US tour.
It's always fun listening to your reactions and break downs but it's always so much fun having people listen to we got the moves for the first time.

This song live goes off, at Brisbane Good Things Festival they finished with this track, and whilst people thought the song was over and walking away after the set, they just randomly started again. They re-engaged/dragged the entire crowd back to the stage that had dispersed with the "da dadadada da dadadada" it was insane!!

The band makes their videos themselves, the rythmic guitarist and his brother direct most of them, they do great behind the scenes videos for their mvs too, also their two vocalists do both clean and harsh singing, especially when live.

The boys (especially the guitarist and his brother) come up with most...if not all of the video ideas. I don't think there has been a ECB video I haven't lost my shite laughing at at one point. Nik Noctural just got on stage with them a week or so ago...his "I wrote a ECB song" is AMAZING.

You should review this again. This past weekend I was at The Rock Circus festival in the Netherlands and Lorna Shore played right before Electric Callboy at the end of the last day. So the two bands will have actually experienced each other live now. Both bands gave awesome performances. Lorna Shore melted our faces off, and Electric Callboy had us all partying.
Love the reaction/dissection of this one from you guys! Worth a mention that Electric Callboy actually have a song featuring Fronz from a while back with their previous singer (before Nico joined). The song is called "The Scene" and it has Kevin and Sushi (the former signer) doing most of the vocals.
Elizabeth and Will is already great, but how amazing was Will discovering Electric Callboy. We can only hope something further comes of this.

I did not think I would see the science and breakdowns of metal vocals so quickly when i got into metal 17 years ago. I remember getting roasted when people heard the screaming vocals of what you listen to back then.
