Halsey has a very special bond with BTS and especially SUGA. There is a story behind SUGA’s interlude. Halsey has miscarried many times in the past. When she finally gave birth to a healthy child, SUGA visited them and gave her a special gift.
The collab with Max is actually interesting story too. Off the top of my head idk how they met but he asked Suga to pick a song on his album that he would like to be in, and he picked Blueberry Eyes, which surprised Max. He thought he was going to pick any other song but that one, plus the song is written to his wife. When Suga sent over the lyrics, Max had someone translate it and he was so surprised and loved the lyrics. Max said it sounded like wedding vows and that they were beautiful. Max liked them so much he learned how to rap his part. In the music video Max and his wife lip sync perfectly with the lyrics and apparently when he performs the song, he does the same thing. Apparently, Yoongi now is his kid's uncle now lol. Fun Fact: Max took Yoongi to his first, I think professional, basketball game. If you don't know Yoongi LOVES basketball and so am sure he had such a fun trip and made wonderful memories.

He said he wanted to meet the guy who had that much influence (it wasn't as if JK released a cover or anything like that.). He was scheduled to meet JK & Suga but, I think, JK ended up having a scheduling conflict so Suga met with Max. Max has lyrics credits on Yet to Come so he has continued his relationship with BTS.
I love Halsey’s relationship with BTS, she’s especially close to Suga. The time she gave them all Christmas stockings for Christmas because she said she filled a stocking for her little brother every year was so wholesome. They gave her a sparkly mic like theirs because she liked them. Also at last year’s Grammy’s when they performed Butter she attended the Grammy’s days after having surgery literally just to support their performance. She left immediately after they performed because she said she was in pain & just went to support them.

Apparently, Halsey when she was making her album was trying to find a member to collab with, so she went through all their solo work, and she realized that his writing style and how he raps is what best suited her. However, Halsey said she was surprised how well matched their styles of writing were because of his personality and how different they are. When Halsey asked Suga then said something along the lines of, "but I can't speak English", but Halsey said that is okay and to speak in Korean. So, she asked him to produce the song and feature in it. Personally, at first, I didn't know about the song. I liked it but wasn't a favorite, but I listened to it more and it became a favorite of mine it defiantly is a song that grows on you the more you listen and the more you think about the lyrics.

Halsey was interviewed about Suga's Interlude and she said that she wanted to give him a place where he could speak his mind without having to share with 6 others and he took advantage of the space. Now for JW (RIP) he passed away, but he did a collab with RM and Suga for their mobile Game, the song called All Night. When Bighit collab they usually do a two-way thing where BTS (or the members) will collab with an artist for the other's artists album or whatever and then one for BTS's album or single. So, the other "half" I guess of the contract is/was Girl of My Dreams. Juice World passed away when this collab came out/his album came out. Apparently, Girl of My Dreams is supposed to be to his girlfriend(?), apparently, they had a complicated relationship because of JW trails (I think he dealt with drugs, depression, etc) but he loved her a lot and was a lifeline for him. Besides that, this is all I know. Personally, I like the song a lot besides that one line and it kind of makes the song go down for me but with Yoongi's poetry it tops if off. The sound of the song is so good, and I liked it as soon as I heard it.
Juice WRLD was a bright star taken too soon by drug addiction. We will never know his full potential as an artist. His mother setup a nonprofit charity for mental health support following his tragic passing.

Three very emotional collabs! Suga’s range is crazy but we knew that of all of BTS they defy being in a single genre. Halsey and Suga being so close and her trust to have him produce the song after she sent him the chorus was just a delightful surprise and is one of my favorite tracks of his. Max and Suga did something Suga has done a lot which is a reciprocal song exchange (Max featured in D2 so featured in this). The Mv is super cute because it’s got Max’s actual wife who was like 7 months pregnant at the time the filmed it and it’s the sweetest love letter to her. Suga couldn’t be in the Mv because of pandemic but they made it work. Max learned the Korean parts to lip sync them. JuiceWrld had featured with RM and Suga collab before and then died of an overdose. The 3 really mutually respected each other (another loss adding to Suga’s repeated hatred of drugs sadly). To help suppport the GF and daughter he left behind JuiceWrlds producer has been finishing unreleased tracks like a tribute and Suga immediately said yes and I think wrote his part in the plane on the way to LA concerts and recorded it right after or between shows, it’s sooo perfect. It’s bittersweet because of how insanely talented JuiceWrld was. Suga’s verses and style blends so well to whoever he works with. Eight is my favorite collab so far and rumors he might feature IU again after producing and featuring in her song 8 are making me extra hyped for his rumored upcoming album.

I knew MAX from the movie 'Rags' he did with Keke Palmer back in 2012 😂 They both sang in that movie, so I knew that he could, but I too was shocked to see what his career had become a few years back. I'm happy it worked out for him!

Very nice reaction.Suga is indeed versatile in his work. He can adapt to the style of the artist. Also a lot of people dont expect it but his lyrics always have depth, poetry and are romantic. In his own work which is amazing he experiment more as he has this freedom, he is an artist with a large spectrum in music this makes him a genius as rapper/ singer/ lyrisist/ producer and composer.

I haven't heard Max before - that was a lovely song and the same for Juice Wrld (rip). Suga is so multi-talented and driven. I wish him all the best for his concert tour.

I'm also really enjoying this time in music of artists collabs with different languages.
Now for JW (RIP) he passed away, but he did a collab with RM and Suga for their mobile Game, the song called All Night. When Bighit collab they usually do a two-way thing where BTS (or the members) will collab with an artist for the other's artists album or whatever and then one for BTS's album or single. So, the other "half" I guess of the contract is/was Girl of My Dreams. Juice World passed away when this collab came out/his album came out. Apparently, Girl of My Dreams is supposed to be to his girlfriend(?), apparently, they had a complicated relationship because of JW trails (I think he dealt with drugs, depression, etc) but he loved her a lot and was a lifeline for him. Besides that, this is all I know.
Personally, I like the song a lot besides that one line and it kind of makes the song go down for me but with Yoongi's poetry it tops if off. The sound of the song is so good, and I liked it as soon as I heard it.
Juice WRLD was a bright star taken too soon by drug addiction. We will never know his full potential as an artist. His mother setup a nonprofit charity for mental health support following his tragic passing.
Juice world has passed away. what I remember most was when juice world and yoongi collab came out. I remember juice world girlfriend going on social media and she wrote she was crying on the floor shaking when she heard this song. she asked for all fans to sing every word to the song and if they did it would send her energy because she needed it. it was a very sad post to see. this was back in 2021 i hope she is doing better. Also Both max and halsey are friends with yoongi. After Max collab with yoongi he went on to be a writer for bts too. He is a writer on bts last song as a group which is "yet to come" and all of bts love love halsey.
MAX was featured on "Burn It" which is on Agust D-2. SUGA produced and featured on "Eight" by IU. He produced and wrote Heize's "We don't talk together," featuring Giriboy. Suga wrote and produced Japanese singer ØMI single "You." He remixed "Over the Horizon" Samsung theme TWICE as well as produced Jungkook "Stay Alive" webtoon OST and the music for BTS game In the Seom. This is just a few additions to what others have already listed in the comments. He is a musical genius. I love his passion and versatility. There is so much of Suga to explore. Get ready.
Max wanted him to be on the New Life song but Suga said he liked the song but it wasn't his style so Max sent him the whole album and said you pick and do your thing he didnt care so Suga picked Blueberry Eyes. and Max did a song With Suga on Suga D2 called Burn It and they worked on the two songs at the same time.And they were going to release there Albums at the same day and Max decided to wait a couple months later.
Awww, you need to watch Max's own MV for Blueberry Eyes. It's adorable, and the fact that Max and his wife lip-sync Suga's entire part (without actually speaking Korean) is just EPIC.
Three very emotional collabs! Suga’s range is crazy but we knew that of all of BTS they defy being in a single genre.
Halsey and Suga being so close and her trust to have him produce the song after she sent him the chorus was just a delightful surprise and is one of my favorite tracks of his.
Max and Suga did something Suga has done a lot which is a reciprocal song exchange (Max featured in D2 so featured in this). The Mv is super cute because it’s got Max’s actual wife who was like 7 months pregnant at the time the filmed it and it’s the sweetest love letter to her. Suga couldn’t be in the Mv because of pandemic but they made it work. Max learned the Korean parts to lip sync them.
JuiceWrld had featured with RM and Suga collab before and then died of an overdose. The 3 really mutually respected each other (another loss adding to Suga’s repeated hatred of drugs sadly). To help suppport the GF and daughter he left behind JuiceWrlds producer has been finishing unreleased tracks like a tribute and Suga immediately said yes and I think wrote his part in the plane on the way to LA concerts and recorded it right after or between shows, it’s sooo perfect. It’s bittersweet because of how insanely talented JuiceWrld was.
Suga’s verses and style blends so well to whoever he works with. Eight is my favorite collab so far and rumors he might feature IU again after producing and featuring in her song 8 are making me extra hyped for his rumored upcoming album.

Max is such a great musician. He featured on Suga’s song Burn It. He also was the primary songwriter for Yet To Come for BTS. The fun part of Blueberry eyes is that Max learned Suga’s Korean rap, and he does Suga’s part when he performs it live.
MAX is probably best known for “lights down low” which was huge years ago. he started off on youtube, i remember he did covers and was shocked to realize he was the same guy
I knew MAX from the movie 'Rags' he did with Keke Palmer back in 2012 😂 They both sang in that movie, so I knew that he could, but I too was shocked to see what his career had become a few years back. I'm happy it worked out for him!

I love the JuiceWorld collab with Suga. I'm sad that we lost a beautiful voice so young. I heard some of his songs after he passed man, his voice is so clear n pure. Still miss it. This collaboration is so amazingly great. Suga's voice blended so well with WorldJuice.
Really all his songs are works of art, solo or in a group he is a fucking genius, I really love him a lot.
My favorite collabs with Suga are Heize “we don’t talk together” (great MV too) and Suran “Wine”. He wrote the lyrics - both very sad - and produced the songs.

I always thought it was so neat that, out of all the songs on MAX's album he could have featured on (he just sent Yoongi the tracks to choose from), he chose the love song MAX wrote for his wife. 😊

Very nice reaction.Suga is indeed versatile in his work. He can adapt to the style of the artist. Also a lot of people dont expect it but his lyrics always have depth, poetry and are romantic. In his own work which is amazing he experiment more as he has this freedom, he is an artist with a large spectrum in music this makes him a genius as rapper/ singer/ lyrisist/ producer and composer.

Halsey has lots of songs, including Castle which was featured in that Snow White and the Huntsman movie, as well as a song called Gasoline. Halsey's latest album is called "If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power".

It is co composed by Tablo(from Epik High) who Yoongi said is one of his biggest inspirations. From the recent Suchwita episode we got to know that Tablo was supposed to do the rap parts but he felt Yoongi would do more justice to it & approached Yoongi. This song lead to the beautiful friendship between Epik High & BTS!
