I kind of feel bad for Russ now, the media is literally bullying him at this point. Russ is one of the problems on this team but he is not the main problem. If they end up getting rid of him they will find out by seasons end that Russ was the least of their problems. Davis has to go too, he should’ve been carrying this team by now and relieving some of lebrons weight and he has just been an oversized bag of potatoes that sits out more then half the season.
Russ’ contract is the problem, and by extension, it means Russ is the problem. Dude is the 2nd highest paid player in the league, contributing absolutely nothing, and at times actively losing games. Without him there they have more money to spend on other players who’ll actually fit and help. Russ isnt the biggest problem, that would be FO, but he is a very big contributor to their woes

How is the Heyward and Rozier trade better? We can really really use more then anything a big in Myles Turner if and probably when AD goes down and we don't miss much of a beat in Team chemistry and 3 shooting, rebounding and shot blocking.

The Pacers trade wasn't made because somebody in the Lakers office developed a modicum of common sense. If they trade those picks they completely ruin any chance of a future post LeBron (unless they get a FA) il and in return they get at best a 2nd round exit. It's just not worth it

Rating the trades:
Pacers: B - it's pretty fair value
Heat: B- - Duncan Robinson helps but Kyle Lowry is almost done.
Hornets: B+ - I really like those two players
Jazz: C+: Lakers want more wings
Kyle Lowry is a spacing guard who can still take the ball out of LeBrons hands for 10-15mins a night. I don't think that's the worst trade tbh

I agree russ legacy is secured, triple double for 3 seasons may be untouchable. But the different between russ and iverson is iverson didn't have championship aspiration team in detroit and memphis. Russ was supposed to be the missing piece that'll help lebron and ad win another title, so yeah it won't help ascending his legacy, then again his legacy is secured. Plus from individual accomplishment, iverson willing his team to the finals that one year showed everyone he can carry a team deep into the playoffs by himself. Russ after KD left is all first round exit even though he had mvp caliber player like PG on his team. The one year he made it into the second round was with harden, and it took them 7 games againts the Thunder with CP3, Ludort, and SGA
