I think for us it’s more about having enough food for our kids. It’s not even about the virus. Yeah it’s scary but I think that as long as we actually keep ourselves home , we should be fine.

‼️‼️‼️I was one of those people who thought it was just gonna pass and the media was blowing it out of proportion. I’m a stay at home mom and I never leave my house anyway BUT now I’m feeling really nervous. Nervous because we are military and we were supposed to move from HAWAII back home to TEXAS next week but now we can’t. There is now a military travel ban and we can not leave this island for another 2 months. It could be pushed back more and it’s just so scary. I hope everyone takes this serious so it can pass in a few weeks 😭
Life with Loeras i am a stay at home mom has well and I am used to staying home so it’s no problem but I also thought it was going to pass once everyone started going crazy at the market and schools closed I was like dam it’s serious I have a toddler I am so scared of it because of her. And also scared of staying with nothing I couldn’t get a lot of stuff because there was basically nothing when we went to the market. Literally a lady was holding on to beans and rice boxes not letting anyone get some. With all the news and seeing how long we will be not able to go out is scary I been having panic attacks like crazy.
Tell me why I cried when Karen started talking of how scared she is. I’m terrified right now not so much for myself but for my 2 kids, my parents who are both 60 and my husband who works in the medical field. This virus brought out the worst in some people. We need to unite and fight through this together! God bless everyone stay safe and this too shall pass and we will come out stronger. Love this! I went to Costco to get propane, and this family’s card kept declining at the self service kiosk... I just bought all the propane for them! I did not feel right getting mine, and not helping them!! It’s what we all need to do!

For everyone reading this comment, remember that we are ALL in this together and you are not alone! I know that this is scary and we’re in panic mode especially with everyone going crazy over food and toilet paper but we need to do our best to be aware of the situation and think rationally. One tip i would recommend is to try to not read everyyythinggg the media is putting out because not every source is reliable! We WILL be okay and this WILL blow over just be safe and stick together!!!

If we go on quarantine we are still able to go to the store to get groceries. I think alott of people are getting scared they will run out of food but there isn’t a food shortage the groceries will restock will stay open. Italy is fully stocked in toilet paper 🤭😅 people in the USA are panic buying making things worse for does people that actually need food right now.

I work at a grocery store (Food4Less) and things got CRAZY on Friday. On the weekend we literally had lines wrapped around our whole building, just waiting to go in. We actually had to push the hours back to open the store, just because we need even more time to stock items. I have been working AT LEAST 10 hrs a day 6 days a week😳. Just an example I had to go in at 3 am just so I can get ahead of the customers that come in at 8am. All my coworkers literally have to shop during our lunch because by the time we get off everything is gone. So like today I wasn’t able to even eat since my groceries come first. So please people be nice to the employees we are trying our best to hurry and stock everything. Not only that but the stores are so full, that we know that our chances of getting the corona virus are likely because of SOOOO many people that come into our stores. This last past week I had 3 customers say thank you for working hard and for putting our health on the line. And I lost count of how many people have be rude. But honestly those 3 people who were so nice I always think of them, because they made me fell good! Sorry for the long message but it’s the honest truth.

For someone who works at LAX , I’ve never thought I compare my field with the medical field.
We are literally going head on with this at different levels .
Yes it’s very difficult to walk into work and not know if I am safe because it’s such a public place or that it will be my last day getting paid.
I do not fear anything but what humanity is capable of doing under pressured times like these .

Listening to this video literally put me in tears. “I think the unknown is what’s scaring everybody. Nobody knows what’s going to happen.” & it’s true. We don’t know what’ll happen tmr, or the next day. Theyre taking this as it comes. Throwing ideas & plans out there; constantly changing within the hour. It’s scary.
Remember if we have a mandatory quarantine, the grocery stores WILL remain open! They are still open in Italy!
I’m in panic mode right. Me & my husband haven’t stocked up. We have 2 kids but we have family here in Temecula that we could ask to help us out but still it’s stressful. Same we live in Texas (an hour away from Houston) and people are going crazy and because we also live pay check to pay check it's so hard specially with kids i was unable to stock on diapers but hopefully all this craziness ends soons wish you and your family the best 🙏

My husband has even been looking at the stores in the small town he’s working in and still hasn’t found much! It’s so scary but I’m praying for every single one of us that this passes quickly

I had to cancel my baby shower because of everything that’s going on, I’m a single mom to be on April 26.. I was really relying on presents from my family & friends for my baby shower. Trying not to stress but it’s so hard.

Finally catching up on your podcasts. Am a fan of when you both do things together. Here in NYC it’s been rough. Was alert that we would get cases but never thought we would become the next epi-center. Having the kids home makes me feel partially safe but the hubby is a police officer so regardless if the world is falling apart he has to show up. So knowing he’s out there dealing with an invisible enemy has him very worried more then ever in his whole career. It’s always been my job to keep it together for everyone and finally after week 2 I’m loosing it. But I have to push forward for the sake of keeping the kids feel safe and secure and to lessen the stress my husband might be bring home with him. Take care guys and stay healthy, looking forward to the next spicy challenge

I’m super grateful to still have a job but also wish I was at home with my son since schools are closed. He’s currently alternating between family members at my parent’s house on days they can watch him .. figuring it out one day at a time since I’m not able to take much time off.
We will all get through this! I still believe 2020 will be a great year, we just started off on the wrong foot!

I watched this and been so stressed about the entire situation, I do feel better knowing that I’m not the only one thinking about that desperate times come for desperate needs, worried if it came down to that, people would attack and break in homes. That’s my biggest fear, I don’t like seeing mankind switch so quick! Literally like one man for himself, it’s scary to see that side of people. You see that in the store, fighting for cases of water, people cutting other people off for parking because it’s so packed. Like just looking at people panicking and in survival mode scares me. Imagine if we did have to go down into quarantine, how would they reach? I enjoyed watching this though!! Continue to bring awareness and hopefully this all ends soon! Love you guys, be safe! 💕
So today is my first day working from home, and I just sat and worked on a loan while listening to you guys talk. I’m from Texas and I’ve been following this virus since it first made news in China. Unfortunately I’m not sure I’ll be able to work from home until this is over, of course work will need me to go in and let someone else try and work from home as well. The scariest thing is not for me or my life but for my kids who are so innocent. I’m so saddened by all the lives this virus has taken it must be so heartbreaking to the families. You know hearing Sebas say that 2020 is crazy let’s go back to 2019 is exactly what a lot of people are thinking. While I’m over here saying let’s go back to 2017 lol, I lost my mom January 2018 in a horrific accident. Because of this I find myself more panicked than I usually would be and my anxiety has defiantly been crazy. But In the midst of it all I know God is in control. God is always by our side and will see us through. I am praying for all of us. Let’s join together in prayer, for God to lay his healing hand over the entire world. This is all so true I’m 6 months pregnant and I still have my appointments but it’s scary to go to the clinic because you just never know! I’m due in July and I just hope it gets better! I love ya and this truly helped me get in a better mood instead of the news making us more paranoid!
I’m a stylist and work for a small salon, not a chain salon so this will affect us tremendously, because as much as I’ve saved if this don’t get together quick.. money will run out quick. BUT.. I am surrounded by family and love and we all have each other’s back and will get through anything!
I’m literally on my way to work listening to this. This is truly something so scary and if I don’t go to work then I’ll end up being homeless! It’s really stressful and it’s true many of us can’t afford to buy in bulks! Since the middle of last year has just been the worst year of my life when we lost my older brother who was the soul provider for my family! Since it’s been a real struggle and now this is just so overwhelming. Prayers for everybody
You could feel the tense in the store, people's faces look frightened. HEB in San Antonio you literally had to stand in line for eggs and milk. It's hard for people not to go into panic mode. Hope all this passes soon. God bless us all❤🙏

I'm so glad you guys are talking about this. I get more worried as the day goes on. I have two jobs (a full time and a part time). Both jobs cut my hours, by more than half. I'm worried that I won't be able to pay my bills AND help my parents if my dad stops working. I had to cancel a few things to avoid unnecessary costs, I most likely will have to dip in my savings (what little savings I have) if worse comes to worst. I tried getting in touch with my car loan company (to avoid making payments for the next few months) and was on hold for 3 hours, no joda, and still couldn't get someone on the phone. I worry for my parents because they're not in the greatest shape. It's scary, but I keep telling myself to try and stay positive. We have to have hope; hope that this will die down soon, no more than a month. And of course, taking the necessary precautions to avoid it spreading.
I work at an Insurance Company and a lot of people have been taking it as a joke and laugh and me when I try to sanitize everything. Thank you for speaking about this issue. Hopefully more people begin to listen.
My son came home early from his second job. He works in a restaurant. He said they closed all restaurants, bars and gyms here in Dallas Tx. He felt so bad for all the people that just have that job, no other income. 😞 We need to try to help each other😢 we need to go to the nearest elderly neighbor and ask if they need anything from the store. So they don't have to go out themselves. God bless us all.

Karen has such a beautiful heart, she's so giving and caring. You can just tell how she puts everyone else's needs before hers, she thinks not just of her family but everyone else who might be struggling in this moment. I admire you so much for the kindness in your heart more than anything Karen.
I wasn't too worried about it at first because I too thought this would pass but then everything just started to get a lot more intense.. the stores started to sell out.. I mean it was just one little thing after another. I worry so much about my 2 little boys and my 80 year old grandparents that are here at home with us. My husband works at a warehouse that distributes food so I know they aren't closing but he's gone all day until 9 at night.
It scares me what people will do. How will I be able to defend my kids and grandparents if something happens. It's what's been on my mind and I try so hard to not show my grandparents and boys how nervous and afraid I am for what is to come.
But I pray that this will all pass and that everything will run through smoothly. I can't wait for the day we go back to normality, I miss just the simple ride every morning taking my little boy to school and picking him up.
I'll keep everyone on here and around the world on my mind. We can all get through this and we will. Look out for one another, help each other, support each other. 💕

I'm with Sebas on this I'm not so scared of the virus as I am of the selfishness of people. The virus is being blown out of proportion. No one talks about all the people who die of the flu and other viruses every year. Last year half a million people died from the flu and no one is talking about that. The crazy thing is I a couple months no one will remember the Corona Virus.
I also thought this as well until I did research. I don't mean to scare anyone but please look at research carefully when you are comparing data 😬. The mortality rate is a lot higher than the regular flu. The regular flu has been around for 50-100 years, so obviously lots of people have died from it. To compare how deadly a virus is, you have to look at the mortality rate(percentage) to actually be able to compare them! Which what many are forgetting unfortunately. Then you'll be able to see how deadly this new virus actually is.

Nice to hear you both share your feelings on this! I was just talking to my 6 yr old about how in my 38 yrs on this earth, how I’ve never seen anything like this. Her first yr starting school and something this sad happens. The lil ones have trouble understanding what is going on and the fear people are experiencing. Me and my boyfriend both are DSP and take care of people with disabilities. So bc of that we have to work, these people need to be cared for. Then we risk bringing this virus home to our lil one!! That scares me!! And we can’t even find toiletpaper🤷🏻♀️ such scary times

I live in Toronto and it’s scary as well,it’s so difficult for families who can’t afford stop going to work, I pray for my man everyday when he leaves. Also so grateful for my mom who helps out get groceries, which she just had a grown ass lady take Lysol wipes from her hand🤦🏻♀️ I can’t risk going out because I’m pregnant and I have to take care of my two year old ❤️

Im from South Texas (Hidalgo County) we haven't had a positive coronavirus case...yet. At the clinic I work we have been receiving hundreds of calls and patients coming in and out we've created an isolated area for those who come in ill just to be precautious we don't have labs offering test here yet. I have been trying not to panic, stress or get anxious especially cause I have 3 year old baby girl waiting for me every day at 5:30 to be picked up from day care.. But it's coming down here and we need to prepare mentally, physically and emotionally. I felt your podcast, yall's emotions and advice. I can feel the fear and I believe every American is like that at this point. Thank you for this. I will be definitely be subscribing. This too shall pass and we are all in this together🙏🏽❤️

Yes I’m due in July! and I was already staying home since the beginning of my pregnancy since I can’t work anymore. I’m just remaining calm I hope my husband that works in construction keeps his job cause he’s covering all of my necessities. I’m a daycare teacher in Chicago. We aren’t closing and there’s so many sick kids who come everyday and sneeze and cough on us. It’s sad because I myself got sick and my 1 year old sick. Because we don’t have every sign they won’t test us. I haven’t been able to go shopping for all the things we need because by the time I’m out of work everything is gone. It’s so serious I don’t think Karen is over reacting. People need to stay home. This is real.
Julia Ornelas I’m a preschool teacher in California with 3 deaths in our valley from the coronavirus and our preschool will not shut down! I decided to take the unpaid time off and stay home with my kids! Can’t afford it but I’d rather take the hardship than get expose! 😔
Sylvia Delgadillo I started working there recently so they won’t offer it! I’m so frustrated with the system and how they don’t care about the well being of workers. Or that some parents are honestly careless about sending their children who are sick. I’ve been keeping my daughter at home. I was able to get 72hours at home but they expect me back.
Lead teacher in Chicago as well and we are still open til this day bc they say DCFS hasn’t mandated for them to close. My class has only 5 kids in it and the rest are low as well and they still don’t shut down.
I guess because I work in the ER I’m kind of not immune to it but I have some little insight of what’s happening so I’m not freaking out yet. I am super concerned though bc there is a chance I can get it and coming home to family I’m afraid I can pass it along. I’m also concerned for my dad bc he also works in a hospital so there’s that chance as well. I think at a time like this we just need to all work together by staying home and buying what we need instead of going over board so that others are able to get what they need as well and having consideration for others. I really do enjoy your podcasts I’ve said it before but I truly do. You guys make it feel as though we’re all here together talking and expressing and it’s really refreshing.

My boyfriend and I have been monitoring this virus since it started in China back in December/January. We figured it’d catch up to the U.S but we thought it would be stopped faster. It’s been scary but we’ll get through this!

I couldn't sleep this whole weekend just scared of what'll happen if we do have to be quarantined and how I won't be able to pay my bills bc of it. The anxiety kept me up and my body hella tense. I pray we all get through this. ❤
Daisy Navarro totally agree with you! I work for a school and from two weeks they extended the “break” till April 6th. And now they’re thinking of canceling school for the rest of year till the next school year. It’s really scary, thinking of how will I pay my bills 😞
Thanks for this platica! I'm like Karen, so worried about how it will affect everyone financially. I hope that those that can stay home will stay home, and those that have to work take care of yourself and wash your hands often. Those people that are price gouging are trash...and if they want to save face then they should donate the masks to hospitals and cleaning supplies to those in need. My employer has us working from home, which is a blessing...just wish I could get out to have human contact lol but I know this must be done for the everyone's health.

I’m a mommy of one and one on the way. I literally have been having days that I can’t sleep just thinking of what can happen, of this going on until I give birth, I had to cancel my gender reveal and if it goes on eventually the baby shower but as long as my babies and family are healthy that’s all that matters. My husband goes to work everyday as well as my mom who works in a grocery store. I’m afraid and I’m praying this gets resolving soon and everyone just stay home please

I often catch myself going into deep thoughts about the situation but we need to focus on the positives too. China’s quarantine has been effective, the number of new cases each day has dropped dramatically. South Korea is on the same trajectory. The first trial for a vaccine is underway in the US. Congress is allocating around 850 billion dollars to help small businesses and unemployed people. Even republicans are talking about giving everyone $1,000/month until this thing ends. It’s not going to be easy but we can get through this. Stay in touch with your loved ones, support each other in these tough times ❤️ thank you for making this video, I feel good knowing that I’m not the only one with these fears, we are all human and it’s okay to be scared and fear the unknown.

This staying at home is a good idea to slow the spreading down. But it's hard when you have kids but we are doing homeschooling and just trying get through this all like everyone. I have 3 boys and man it's a hard thing to be home. But everyone stay safe and clean.

I’m living with my parents at the moment with my daughter and it’s scary because even with all this my parents have to pay the bills so my dad is still doing Uber.. I get scared every time because what if he has someone in his car that is carrying the virus & comes home and gets us all sick.. he’s over 60 and also has cancer, but can’t stop working because the bills are still there.. I hope this all goes away soon because I’m just so overwhelmed with all this 😓

I was very late to find out about all of the stores running out of everything because I work so much. I’m still working to this day because Starbucks has chosen to stay open. When I could finally go to the store, there was nothing...so I am so scared because I don’t have enough water or toilet paper to make it through even a week at this point. I just hope that stores restock so I can grab things and be prepared for whatever may happen. Love you guys, and I appreciate the open conversation 💕

This whole pandemic has been crazy. I have family over from Mexico that came to visit who are scared to travel, since they are majores de edad. Not only that my mom and I haven't worked since December due to her getting injured. Hope everyone is keeping their spirits up in the best way possible.
