- JOYOR was kind enough to send me over a S-10 electric scooter for a review and so here we are!! To say I was pleasantly surprised with this scooter is a understatement. From the shipping, build quality, and overall ride and features theres a lot to like here. Theres also a few bad things I've found. Lets dive in and take a look at all the S10-S has to offer and what it also needs to build upon.

You can adjust the settings 9 and 10 and 16
To give it instant take off I think setting 10. Remove speed limiter is 9. And cruise control is 16. These settings can be found by pressing plus and minus together 😊 then scroll with the on off

Loving mine so far! I’m disabled and use it to get 10 miles into town and 10back. Newer model doesn’t have delay

Use Cruise control. It will get a lot more miles for you. Also cruise control can go as slow as you want. Or as fast as you want. I went around 37 miles an hour. I also went as slow as 3 to 4 Miles an hour on cruise control.
How do you know if you order new or old model?
I noticed on the S10 s models there different brake components. I have zoom brake components on mine, pretty nice.
I tried watching a couple of times but I'm not sure if you told us if the controller was Sinewave or Squarewave?
Did you need something to do with the brake setting or just out of the box? Mine will get delivered soon

Hey guys anyone could tell me how to use cruise control?
Beautiful ride, I have one. Just yesterday I hit speeds on a straightaway fully inflated tires 43 mph no B.S. I also away 140 and height 5'6. On single motor I had 32. I love it. Mine has no delay and be careful of the cruise control you'll take straight off while standing on pavement LOL be careful.
How is the scooter holding up ?
@@user-mg7co1yr3g the ride is holding up pretty well thanks for asking. No complaints so far, I've logged in 525 miles commuting back and forth to work and taking Joy rides lol. I also upgraded my handlebars and stem and a few other changes.

I just bought 1 a few days ago and then ordered another 1. I was hoping the battery would be more are 30 miles but oh well (I don’t have anything in particular to go 30 miles on anyways🤷🏻♂️). I did order a JCX G1 for speed and distance (should be here Sunday). I also have a Segway ninebot which tops out at 19 which I bought for riders who will be scared by the power of the S10 (I know there are gears 1,2,3) and it’s looks..lol
I bought this scooter, how can i adjust the brakes ?
Might I ask how you hit up to 30? That's the max speed I want. Currently blocked by the limiter and I was planning on buying a full protective suit and helmet just for safety purposes, but I would definitely like the doubled acceleration.
There should be a way to increase the max speed via: the touch screen or their app if they have one.
Mine hits 40 mph , but ive seen other people that move something in the screen that can take it up to 45-50
@@albertoaguilar9156 If you don't mind my asking.......how'd you get up to 40mph? I get it if you mean downhill,but just for a flat,level surface.......I'd say anywhere north of 36 would be pretty good for this scooter.

Need a favor when you accelerate the scooter using the kickstand to balance does the front wheel accelerate slower then the rear?

Did you use both motors ? I was watching a video and the guy said you can turn the front motor on or off.
When you turn it on it starts in rear wheel drive and you have to change it each time to dual motor drive.
I bought a S10S on 11/17/23 I have over 300 miles on it and I have had no problems with the scooter I am still empressed every time I ride it so I wanted the new and improved joyorS10S that I read about and ordered from the joyor page they sent me the same thing as I already have but the one they sent me early March doesn't run right the power fluctuate at high speed it's not steady I tryed telling them that they got the order wrong they wouldn't do anything about it so PayPal followed up on my dispute and found it was in the right and gave me my money back and told me to keep the scooter don't buy from the joyor page I've heard other people having problems there I thought I was a good joyor customer. I guess not they don't like repeat buyers
Appreciate you mentioning this. I had minimal contact with the company, never setup or had interest in an affiliate code so my initial review is the same. Seems when you put some miles on this thing and need help though there is no answer or follow up on they're part thats reasonabl... or at least this has been mentioned by you and several others in the comments here. When I did this vid soon after life came crashing down so I wasn't able to do a follow up vid with more info. I'll definitely take this into consideration when doing product reviews, whether buying with my own money or being sent the product for free. Im proud to say Im not bought or sold but a long term or follow-up vid on my part would have helped on this one. I'll do better next time fam~

Just bought one of these and it will be here in a week. Why do you think it has a throttle delay? Do you think Joyor addressed this issue?

@@countryclubcowboy I'm no expert but what I've learned is Scooters that have Sinewave controllers have much better control over initial acceleration and helping in that key task of cruising at slow speeds..which actually I do a lot of as I'm a cruiser not a racer..So, net net, I'm looking for that feature or I won't consider it. That being said, I looked it up for this brand and couldn't get confirmation if anyone wants to chime in on that. Either way, since that's kind of a semi recent availability, I believe a lot of people swap them out on their older Scooters..can't say if that's possible with this Joyor??. I'll also add that I've put on over 1,000 miles on my Joyor S5 and aside from the occasional flat tire it's been very reliable..absolutely no complaints there..but it's time to upgrade...........

absolutely don't wanna take it through heavy rain and if you're gonna ride in light rain i'd recommend staying in 2nd gear. 3rd gear is fine if you're comfy with it, but i'm not too sure on tire traction yet.

Thum throttle might be too tight loosen it u when nex to other part!!! Can use silicon BTW parts,brake lever.
Try to see if you can put the steering damper to the scooter and do a video of that too...
I NEVER had any of the problems u talked about. I went 39+ easily. Cruse gets you way more than 20/25 , but im sure you know that. I'm sure you know each scooter can vary from defective to operating 👌.
Charging hasn't taken me that long maybe 8 at the most & thats in the red.

After being in the PEV game for a few years now Ive noticed TSG releases certain colors for a year or two, then changes them and never go's back. That orange was available for a minute a few years ago but now you'll have to find on eBay or a similar site. This year its all about the matt colors, which I have 2 of as well now haha!! Next year Im sure bright colors will be in style and part of the line up. They haven't done a purple, green, or yellow for awhile so Im suspecting a few of those to be back in the line up. Bright red is always wanted by riders too but I think by far the Orange is the coolest one for me. I'll put the link in the description for the matt red and green TSG Pass helmets I just purchased for anyone interested~

If you have not gotten a motor, the joyer vid that installs a seat gives you a site.
@@johnlone3074 where can I buy the motor for the joyor brand. Nothing is sold in the U.S. or can I use a brand of a similar model and will it work. I got caught in the rain so I'm not sure what to do. At third gear it will sturdy at 15 mph. Then continue or it stops and restart.

If you gave not gotten one yet. Walmart. Because they will give you the longest warrantee.
How far can you drive in full battery
Its going to depend on riding style(Full speed or 20mph)but I would guess 15-20 miles full speed and around 20-30 miles at lower speeds~
How would this compare to the vsett 10+

You can if you ride it hard enough, any kind of air tire is a potential risk to flats.
@@Frostorm777 And that sucks. I just ordered this scooter a few days ago. It'll be my 3rd scooter......and my first one ever that didn't have SOLID tires. I'd been trying to avoid scooters with air-filled tires,but if you want speed,guess it's just a risk you have to take,since I've never seen any scooter that goes fasters than 30mph with solid tires.

Yup ! It sure does 😉 I just found out if u go through the settings and put the p10 to 0, u get up to that speed, otherwise it won’t go faster than 12,5.. and it has CRAZY acceleration 😃

I didn't even had to remove the limiter and mine hits 37mph no problem. you gotta make sure your in all wheel drive mode tho because it comes in only the rear wheel drive mode when you first get it

Haha well the truth is Nostradamus there is a crash in everyones future so what you see is for yourself as well...The question is are you geared up and ready and know how to take a fall??!! And since I've been there and done that already as Ive been riding these for over 5 years, experience has shown me there are many things you can do to limit your chances of an accident....Even with "things" beyond my control. Those "things" are predictable, just like human behavior out in the real world or in the comment section of CZcams. You just need to know where to look and how to ride to avoid them. @TheElectricLife 😀 Yes. We all take our chances at a level that we feel will produce the right amount of adrenaline. I've been riding anything and everything with wheels before I could walk, if you count my stroller! 😆 At 63, I've decided that the right amount of adrenaline comes at maximum speed on my scooter with no helmet! Yes, it has already happened. I crashed. I'm still riding.......no helmet.....because I love living! I'm like you, I want the thrill, at no one's expense. Peace! 😎✌️
