As to the clouds, sky and plane, you can pint directly on the cured resin, tiny layers on tiny layers, and get the same effect. Weirdly, if you do it in a clear vessel, you won't be able to see the painting on the layers except from the top. From the side, the whole thing will look pretty much clear. A cool effect.

I love you're ideas. But idk about some items in the resin that have moisture. Like the pumpkins gas/waters or what eva it is leaving the vegetable will somehow find its was out of the resin. It has to find a place to leave.
I've seen it happen 2 yrs after putting flowers in resin. I read a thread were it happened to this lady who did all her art with fruit and vegetables in it. She said she had to start taking out the core and leaving it to dry for awhile. (Some will just rot and never work.) Just fyi so people don't waste a huge amount of resin. 🫀💗
