I'm sorry about your bad luck with the limited edition but I have to admit, you did make the rant a bit funny at times.
Got the wrong blu ray discs in the Doctor Who Season 12 UK The Collection set. All discs are from Season 10. Have now two Season 12 dusc in there four to go. For the rest it’s a nice set. Think i go collect further with Doctor Who UK DVD’s.
I haven't owned any bluray DW, but this would push me over the edge.
I can only imagine your pain Phillip, it’s like the bit in Santa Claus the movie when all the toys break on Christmas morning. Amazon should be ashamed, I know how many fans love to take care of these items and they’re ruined before they’re even out the package.
A great season of Doctor Who like Season 8 doesn’t deserve this poor quality packaging.
ill get mine on tuesday. region 1 set comes out June 1, 2021 Amazon is horrible they ship out in such quantity that its cheaper for them to cut corners and if 1 out of 5 people complain its still cheaper for them to cut corners than do things the right way.
I understand how you feel Twinhat. When I bought a rare American Thomas Video, called Make Someone Happy and other stories vhs. The website said the video tape was brand new so I bought. I have passion collecting brand new Thomas video tapes. From B United States and want to see what the UK or Australia to be like if it was sealed. But when I got the US Thomas video tape, it wasn’t even sealed and second it had creases. I was upset with false advertising on Amazon. I just don’t like Amazon because of that. Maybe eBay might be better for everyone lol

I contacted the BBC media department, (can’t remember the exact details but a general email should point you in the right direction), after buying season 23 on Blu second hand that was missing the slip. They were kind enough to source one for me and mailed it out, just needed folding and assembling. Worth a shot if you need a replacement.
Thank you very much for the info. I did contact the BBC and they told me they didn't have a replacement so I sold my copy and will re buy it when it comes out in the standard blu ray set.
4:40 me being one of them, I did manage to get a replacement. But their quality control is awful.

also the usa sets even tho minimalist are more sturdy then the limited edition sets s8 was my first uk one

I will be and I I haven’t watched 13th Doctor era and don’t intend to it’s not for me sadly

@@thomasjohnson8391 bringing back classic monsters doesn’t mean a decent story if the writing is poor, which it has been, in my opinion. I’ve seen an episode or two and bits here and there and just does not interest me in the slightest
Bad luck dude. Why don't you push for a full refund from Amazon. Then buy bumped up price on Ebay. Sell your damaged copy for 10-15 pound. Somebody would pay that just for the discs- especially if they make their own covers anyway. You could get a copy on ebay as new for 60-65 quid. That way you break even but get a copy in good condition.

Hi, I saw your video and am in a position to help. I have a spare copy of series 8. I picked it up from my local Argos a few weeks ago as I was dreading something similar happening to me. I'm not into scalping. If you are instrested you can have it for what I paid for it.
