Yeah, I really like Holl with Brodie and Sanding with Lybushkin, hard to judge Rielly and Liljegren on a night like this but if they work together or the leafs get another guy who can play with Rielly I think they might have figured something out here (I say after they allowed 7 goals lol)
The goaltending was certainly abysmal, but there were way too many free redwings able to tip pucks with no one contesting, pretty brutal all around

I left my house tonight when it was 6-1 Leafs. I googled 'Leafs score' a bit later and google said it was 8-8. I then turned on the game on my phone to find out it was actually 9-7 (was still shocked beyond beLeaf). The Leafs then scored goal number 10 of the game and Marner's 4th. Wild ride off emotions

This may be my favorite period of hockey ever. And I was at the game where the AHL affiliates of the Red Rings, who play in my college’s town, won the Calder Cup. The only way it could have been better is if the Red Wings had won this game. But I’ll take this. This was still glorious.

I'm a wings fan, but this one is kinda funny. Made me feel some better about it. Oddly, with how the goals went, it kinda seems like the Red Wings avoided some heat about giving up 10 goals, and the Maple Leafs got the worst of it😂 Marner's face at the end was hilarious 😂 Also, Steve's jokes about Ned made me laugh 😄 All three of the wing's losses to the Leafs this year have been tough to swallow 😬
