Really guys? You want to blow people's minds with ATVs? Bring back the ds450. What did we get from this year's product reveal ? Tinted windows on a side-by-side and another limousine length Maverick. Also what about the Renegade? Does that get the new 1000R motor as well there was no mention in back?

Update the Defender !!!!! Better interior with automotive style HVAC controls, have a factory stereo system, get rid of the ridiculous removable tool box in the dash, more passenger leg room, bump up the horse power and offer better suspension. It could be a great machine if they’d update it

Exactly. Defender needs replaced. From what I see, the Defender has been replaced by the eXpedition.

Better seating too. Hated the defender limited on long rides. Commander XTP is soo much nicer but hate the cup holders on the floor and no console. The 2025 Rmax and Rmax plus have pulled way ahead now.

@tyler87kelley knowing can am I'm stunned they haven't made full street legal kits. The gauges (used by spider too) have the indicator signals already there and can be activated aftermarket so why haven't they done it I have no idea.
At least I hope they have affordable door lock and door seal kits for 23-24 defenders!
Would have liked to see a lifted unit and bigger tires as well … big trend in the SW

The majority of their new ATV models were $12,000 US or more. I think a Renegade 450 could have garnered much more enthusiasm. It would be nice to bring back the DS450 and or 650 as well.

Big L on 2025 canam. The MAV sport and commander need an update bad!!! Was expecting a defender sport or new class like expedition. Also the defender is probably the oldest chassis there, really surprised it didnt get a bigger update other than tint. (Tint is cool)

@normanrasmussen7179 that would be cool. I was just checking out the 2025 Rmax and its sweet. You can get a rigid enclosure if wanted. Canam has to step up now. That machine has dual rate springs, live valve, nice interior, digital screen that isn't gimmicky, 10 year belt warranty, proper center console that's useful with usb ports and so on.

Still prefer the 23-24 outlander 850-1000r style! Don’t get me wrong these looks amazing but almost to futuristic. I’m sure they’ll grow on me. I’ll have to see what the 25 1000r XT camo looks like 👀

Well i see you all are in the business of marketibg for other brands. I have litterally waited months to see if the Defender would be updated. Well im a diehard anti Polaris guy. But after seeing that can am did essentially NOTHING to upgrade the defender or introduce a model that can compete wih the Rangers or Xpedition, im calling my Polaris dealer today to purchase an actual 2025 model side by side instead of a 2015 Can Am Disappointment i mean defender. Wow Can Am you should change your name to Can Aint. Wasted time to see door locks and tint. Wow I can’t decide whether im frustrated or disappointmented.

Need to revamp the X3 drivetrain. Put a DCT in a 64" trail machine with lower 1st gear ratio.
No wonder Polaris is walking away from Can Am. This was a total snooze fest. Even this video sucked and couldn't even start the damn thing on time. Can AM really needs to get your head out of your ass or you're going to be in same boat as Yamaha sleds. Pre-taped staged live event, 20 minutes I'll never get back. Really you want me to get excited about tinted windows and locks? Defender and X3 ALL should have got the new 10.25" screen. The X3 is basically the same thing since original launch. oh wow, a new color. Should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves for putting out this horrible launch and ZERO innovation!

Wow super long maverick max. Now 7’ tall person can fit. Myself I would do a Funco car if I wanted a long wheelbase. That’s just me.
Rear leg room is 15% bigger than our closest competitor, and the same as our X3.
It fits comfortably people up to 6’2’’.

The 1st recall on the 2024 Maverick R is for the timing chain plug. If you can not get that right, you shouldn't be building engines 😂
And Polaris is light years ahead of can-am in the side by side world. I own a defender and the Polaris ranger is a better machine and now they have a 1500 that is going to kill it. I am sorry but I have been very disappointed the last few years with can-am. No real innovation on their equipment.
@@pjbuckmaster by the time can-am updates the defender, Polaris will have already updated the 1500 and basically everything else in their line up 🤣🤣🤣 Can am is asleep at the wheel!
I was about the pull the trigger on a pro r 4 because there was no mav r max. Well I guess I know what I’ll be shopping for in the spring. Screw belts

@@Jizden_Mipanz I plan to get a base model. The base model 2 door can be gotten for under 30k I’m expecting the base models to actually sell for the mid 30s. If you look around and are willing to drive 1,000 miles or so you can save thousands on them.
@@OvenBak3d360 nobody was talking about a base model 2 seat.... The point I was making is that machines(especially canam) have gotten way too expensive.

@@logannorthington719why? I have a 2017 1000R XT-P and it’s tippy as hell. My old 2007 Outty 800 XT was a better riding machine. The Gen 2 sucks ass. If they improved the ergo’s on the Gen 3 plus improved clutching, greaseless bushings, easier panel removal/installation, easier belt changes, etc…. wtf would you think the Gen 2 was better? Lol

If only the mavericks were easier for an older guy to get into. Can’t stand the awkward entry due to such a low cage and the hard side of the seat that’s the first thing I sit on. It’s literally the biggest factor in my buying a pro r in a couple weeks
Not impressed at all. No updates to the Defender interior, suspension or horse power, no updates to the commander , no new off road models.
JFC how many options and models of off-road vehicles do you need. It’s not always about adding to the stable, it’s about perfecting it. If you can afford all the models and options they have to offer and that’s not enough, you need to get some serious help. These company’s aren’t here just to wow you, they need to make a profit. That means not just engineering and manufacturing products to give you something to look at that you’ll never buy.
@@EricLabelle-cj6bk what are you talking about? Polaris released the Expedition line and the Ranger 1500, Yamaha has the R max? Can am defender is old and out dated. Can am has no response to the Expedition or ranger 1500 or the Rmax. It’s not about being able to afford every unit. It’s about options and keeping up with the competition.
@@EricLabelle-cj6bk They debuted a new 3 wheel canyon that nobody wants! I barely see and 3 wheel can ams on the road. I ride atvs and side by sides and I hear what people want and desire on off road vehicles

The Defender needs remodeled and replaced. It is an old platform where the eXpedition has outperformed.

It's getting a buch of updates this year: new tires, Smart-Shox on XDS, New 15'' wheels and new Scandi Blue & Orange Crush color.

The defender is desperate for modern upgrades, I mean even if you just updated the interior with simple things like better hvac controls and even a small lcd display instead of that calculator in the dash I would have bought one.... oh but heres tinted windows.... cmon lol

Send me one ... every can am I've owed since 2008 and i only buy new machines, they all had the worst gear selector , I've had many suzuki, yamaha and honda, i do most tight woods riding and my can am makes what i love to do a nightmare
