      You can use any lens that is small and bigger than the eyepiece lens

      But i think only the lens is required i dont know exactly if the lens needs to be bigger im still a starter on telescope astronomy

    Was that some sort of jumping ant on the white tissue?

      I used an old binocular lens but all I took was a concave lens

    I bought this lens but with 19mm diameter. What will be the magnification then?

    • @HB-craft
      @HB-craft  Před 11 měsíci

      depending on the focal length of the lens

    • @s.rythms4631

      @@HB-craft what is the focal length of your lens?

    • @HB-craft
      @HB-craft  Před 11 měsíci

      I forgot, but I took the lens to eyepiece distance to be around 8 or 10 cm,
      the greater the distance between the concave lens and the eyepiece, the greater the magnification

      @@HB-craft My telescope is 700mm with 50mm aperture and 4mm eyepiece. Can I watch moon craters with it?

    • @HB-craft
      @HB-craft  Před 11 měsíci

      In my opinion, 4mm magnification is too large for the moon, with a 50mm lens size, it is better to use an 8mm or 10mm eyepiece.
      Using a 4mm lens, the lunar craters are visible but it will be difficult to find the right focus
