In my opinion, 4mm magnification is too large for the moon, with a 50mm lens size, it is better to use an 8mm or 10mm eyepiece. Using a 4mm lens, the lunar craters are visible but it will be difficult to find the right focus

You can use any lens that is small and bigger than the eyepiece lens
But i think only the lens is required i dont know exactly if the lens needs to be bigger im still a starter on telescope astronomy
