Great ideas! Keep checking your plants for caterpillars and pick them off. If not, they will devour your plants. They will be worse on the plants on the ground for sure. If things get bad, use some organic insecticde around them.

This buckets will get really brittle and break. They look similar to the food safe Walmart ones.
