I love this show so much that it hurts. The friendship, support and loyalty is incredible. I wish and pray for a friendship like this. Also the last relationship with Alexa was everything
This is the only kids targeted show I ever cried over. It’s so good and the characters are so realistic bc they actually deal with things that people our age can relate to. I love this show sm. It’s so pure hearted and wonderful.
This brought me the brightest smile and the deepest tears.

Edit: tysm for all the sweet coments and it was a tough period but i made it though. The only thing that made me sad is that i lost my best friend and people treated me diffrently.

I dont normally watch netflix shows but I decided to watch Alexa and Katie, I instantly fell in love with ALL the charicters and when the show ended I watched it again straight away.
I have watched this show a trillion times and never regretted watching a single episode. Their friendship is the most wonderful I have seen on a TV show. Me and BEST friend Teeghan love each other both SO much and we would do anything for each other. But, we both always agree that Paris and Isabel's relationship is much more powerful then ours. Even if it is a show or not! I will always grown to love this show for years to come❤💛💙💜

I know this is a joke but Alexa's immune system wasn't healthy enough due to the cancer and chemo and someone had gotten a cold, but no one knew who. That's why everyone had on masks.

This shows you can do anything you put your mind to, especially your best friend. This song describes this show so much. I remember when it first came out i watched it with my bestie and i watched this video with her. This is so sad how time passes so fast and tou dong even notice because you have an amazing life! Its been five and a half years! I didnt notice but it made me remember being happy and nothing stopped me from following my dreams. Now everything is so hard and depressing.😔😔😕😕😢😢

Is it just me or I didn’t like how she only had cancer for really only a year. We didn’t get to see the big parts of her life it affected and that made me a little mad as that was one of the big starting points of the show. But Alexa&Katie’s relationship makes up for that and I love it with my whole heart.
Well, yes but it showed when she was at the hospital for a lot so she had only a little time until she got only checkups.
Yeah, I get what you mean, but Alexa and Katie wasn't centered around Alexa's cancer. It was centered around their friendship. Cancer played a major role in the show for obvious reasons (but also like how it was one of the early starters of Katie's anxiety, as well as her mom's obsessiveness). Cancer was the set of season one and kinda came back when Spencer was introduced, but basically the show writers were trying to say that cancer doesn't have to be your whole life, it's something you have/had, but there's so much more to you than just cancer, which Alexa mention quite frequently in season 4, especially at the cancer banquet.
she had cancer before that if you pay attention. But also some people with cancer can go into remission in a year.

When this show ended, I was so sad because I felt so close to Alex's and Katie and the Journey that they had been on together. It really felt like I had known them forever! I wish they would make another season!

i really wish for a best friend like them and i cried so much when the show ended plus kaiden did not get much time togrther kinda hurts cause they r one of the best couples in the whole show and the sweetest moment was when they came back from college and they were so eager to meet eachother and alex came first so she just went and sat in the tree spot and waited for katie. this is one of the show in my outstanding shows list.
