    I picked up the watch a few days after the release therefore, posted several photos on the Tudor Watch Club Group on Facebook. Nice job taking the time to showcase the FXD over the original Pelagos. We apprentice the time and effort you took to share with the CZcams community.

    Thanks for the video. I just got the call from the AD for an FXD, I can pick it up tomorrow! I was worried about the size on my 6.5in wrist but this seems like it'll wear better than the traditional pelagos.

    I used to own a Pelagos LHD but it was sold to make way when l got the call from my AD to purchase a new Rolex Submariner 124060 😎 it’s been a grail watch for me for a long time to happy to finally pick it up at retail.
    However I still missed Pelagos LHD and just as l was about to add a new Tudor BB58 blue, l heard rumours of this new MN Pelagos so l got chatting away with my AD..
    …then last week, the FXD was revealed l got a surprise call from the AD to offer me the only FXD MN21 they’re getting this year! It was too good to turn down.
    So in the space of 1 month, I now have added 2 amazing divers in my collection!
    Everything in your review on the FXD is spot on, IMO it has been an excellent addition to the Pelagos range. I think this wears smaller than my old LHD and I’m not bothered it doesn’t come with a bracelet because I have the Submariner anyway. I have a 6.25” wrist and it still wears well.
    Just now waiting for my AD to get me that Rolex Daytona SS 😂

      @WatchInTime Před 2 lety +1

      Welcome to the family 😂 i am waiting too! We should make a club between Rolex waiters 😅😂😂😂.
      The Pelagos is an excellent Submariner like watch but on my opinion and i own the new no date sub, better quality for money, yet the Sub is an ICON. Totally understand you, excellent 2 watches! And this is so different to other options, i really like the blue color. Which we wont see on a sub. The saw like bezel reminds me of a james bon Sub of the 70’s 😅

    Super video, thanks. I have the BB58 blue and a Doxa blue. It made me realize that the normal Pelagos really has a modern design, with the fine knurling on the bezel and crown for example, or the inset dial indexes. The FXD, with its simple dial, bigger crownguards, smaller case, serrated bezel, became more vintage looking, closer in spirit to the old milspec Submariners. One question: if you designed a dream watch that combined some aspects of both Pelagos, how would it look?

    • @WatchInTime
      @WatchInTime Před 2 lety +1

      Well at this point my perfect Pelagos would be a mixture of both, i would actually cut size to 41mm, keep bigger bezel and serrated its really cool, make the case normal so that it can fit the fabulous Ti strap and clasp. Keep the new fxd dial too, no date is cleaner. That would probably my dream Pelagos.

    How is the bezel action on your fxd? Just recived mine but the bezel does not feel right. Should the ticks by as crisp as the bb58? Mine feels more like a precermaic with the pring out of place

    • @WatchInTime
      @WatchInTime Před 2 lety

      Reason is as per other tudors related to different factors: movement production limitations, case monoblock tiranium difficulties, etc plus they wanted to do a different year on the back case each year

      @CoolHandLuke at the shallower levels there is underwater GPS. My son was in submarines in Israel's army and had GPS. And with these French, it's all close to the surface.

      @@t28mcd You're correct. My son says he used gyro technology as a diver in Israel's navy. And in the submarines they had an enertia platform. That is how it translates to English.
