I picked up the watch a few days after the release therefore, posted several photos on the Tudor Watch Club Group on Facebook. Nice job taking the time to showcase the FXD over the original Pelagos. We apprentice the time and effort you took to share with the CZcams community.
Thanks i have almost all tudors, i should probably join the club at this point.
I feel you ! Your joy … I owned BB blue , Pelagos blue and LHD and now FXD , couldn’t be happier . Also BB GMT and BB 925 . , heritage chrono … my Tudor collection is growing fast and furious . Still great investment to reward hardwork in life . Great video . Keep it coming
Congrats on the new pickup! So jealous right now.
Thanks Jay! It is a beautiful new addition, the design, fabric and color its a tool watch dream come true!
Excellent video, thanks!
Thanks for comparing the 3 on a single video. Just subscribed to the channel 😀
The blue tones are so different compared like that
Thanks a lot Gabo! Check other videos if you like. I might compare also with the gmt blue
Beautiful collection.
Thanks for the video. I just got the call from the AD for an FXD, I can pick it up tomorrow! I was worried about the size on my 6.5in wrist but this seems like it'll wear better than the traditional pelagos.
Very usefull video, thank you ! I was between the Black and the pelagos for’month , but this new one i interesting , i have to try it
You have, its very nice but as con you will never put on it a titanium bracelet or leather normal straps
Wow you got the trifecta !!! 🎰
I used to own a Pelagos LHD but it was sold to make way when l got the call from my AD to purchase a new Rolex Submariner 124060 😎 it’s been a grail watch for me for a long time to happy to finally pick it up at retail.
However I still missed Pelagos LHD and just as l was about to add a new Tudor BB58 blue, l heard rumours of this new MN Pelagos so l got chatting away with my AD..
…then last week, the FXD was revealed l got a surprise call from the AD to offer me the only FXD MN21 they’re getting this year! It was too good to turn down.
So in the space of 1 month, I now have added 2 amazing divers in my collection!
Everything in your review on the FXD is spot on, IMO it has been an excellent addition to the Pelagos range. I think this wears smaller than my old LHD and I’m not bothered it doesn’t come with a bracelet because I have the Submariner anyway. I have a 6.25” wrist and it still wears well.
Just now waiting for my AD to get me that Rolex Daytona SS 😂
Welcome to the family 😂 i am waiting too! We should make a club between Rolex waiters 😅😂😂😂.
The Pelagos is an excellent Submariner like watch but on my opinion and i own the new no date sub, better quality for money, yet the Sub is an ICON. Totally understand you, excellent 2 watches! And this is so different to other options, i really like the blue color. Which we wont see on a sub. The saw like bezel reminds me of a james bon Sub of the 70’s 😅
Total respect to have all 3 blue Tudor watches! If you could you may even add the BB41 Blue ETA version in your collection 😀
Totally but i have the Red and Harrods Green already of BB41 😁 and the gmt, can we consider him half blue?
Super video, thanks. I have the BB58 blue and a Doxa blue. It made me realize that the normal Pelagos really has a modern design, with the fine knurling on the bezel and crown for example, or the inset dial indexes. The FXD, with its simple dial, bigger crownguards, smaller case, serrated bezel, became more vintage looking, closer in spirit to the old milspec Submariners. One question: if you designed a dream watch that combined some aspects of both Pelagos, how would it look?
Well at this point my perfect Pelagos would be a mixture of both, i would actually cut size to 41mm, keep bigger bezel and serrated its really cool, make the case normal so that it can fit the fabulous Ti strap and clasp. Keep the new fxd dial too, no date is cleaner. That would probably my dream Pelagos.
Wow u really like blue... I choose the LHD over blue Pelagos as its a bit too bright blue for me but this FXD blue is tempting
Well done! Every Tudor AD in the world only gets a few MN 21 pieces this year.. So your version is rare. Congrats!
How is the bezel action on your fxd? Just recived mine but the bezel does not feel right. Should the ticks by as crisp as the bb58? Mine feels more like a precermaic with the pring out of place
Mi e looks good, clicks are firm to both sides as its a double turning side bezel. Maybe theres something wrong?
Nulla da dire, molto belli
I think 🤔 the first one you got is better No bracelet and less water 💧 resistant, Idon’t get it why ?. Both beautiful but the first one is the superior model. Thanks for the video 🤔😊
It is, the first one should be the n1 choice. The new, for people like me that want something more
Btw any one knows why this new model is very limited production n available to Ad very limited
Reason is as per other tudors related to different factors: movement production limitations, case monoblock tiranium difficulties, etc plus they wanted to do a different year on the back case each year
The 58 and original pelagos look a bit boring compared to the fxd
Does this navy really use this? They don't know about GPS? Silly.
@CoolHandLuke at the shallower levels there is underwater GPS. My son was in submarines in Israel's army and had GPS. And with these French, it's all close to the surface.
What's silly is to rely on GPS in a war zone. Technology is a strength, but it's also a very big and glaring Achilles heel.
@@t28mcd You're correct. My son says he used gyro technology as a diver in Israel's navy. And in the submarines they had an enertia platform. That is how it translates to English.
Thank you for going into such good detail with sizing
