    • @IshmaelMothibi
      @IshmaelMothibi  Před 3 lety +4

      Thanks for tuning in. In terms of postgraduate education system I found that SA system is actually very good. More than we give it credit for. In due time I will make a video comparing the two. It wasn't that hard to adjust to.

    what are the requirements for studying abroad

    • @IshmaelMothibi
      @IshmaelMothibi  Před rokem

      Glad to help. That depends on the country you want to study and what course and at which university. All requirements differ based on those factors. But essentially you just need to pick a university and a course and apply to that course, make sure you meet the academic requirements. Then you need to apply for funding. Could be send funding or scholarships

    Good day bro. I want to ask a Higher Diploma in DevOps and Data Analytics offered at Limerick Universirty would qualify you for the 2 years post study work visa in ireland? Anticipating your reply.
    Thanks a bunch

    • @IshmaelMothibi
      @IshmaelMothibi  Před 2 lety +3

      Hi there man. That’s actually a very good question. I dont have an exact answer, and I’ve been trying to research on it. The stamp 1G postgraduate visa is for people who graduate with courses on Level 8,9, and 10. Higher diploma is NQF level 8, so I believe you will qualify for the 1G visa post graduation. However, i think for level 8 you can only get 1 year instead of 2 years. Level 9 and above which is masters and phd, those would get two years. I hope this makes sense. Also it is fine if you get only 1 year, in that one year you can get a job and at-least have an opportunity to convert it to a General Work Employment permit or critical skill visa. So do not be discouraged. All the best bro!

    • @IshmaelMothibi
      @IshmaelMothibi  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi Sediye. My scholarship funding was more than enough, i did not have to work part time. It depends on the funding that you got.

    • @AJT86

      It depends on what you’re going for. For work, you’ll need a work permit and work visa. For visiting, I don’t think you’ll need a visa.

    • @IshmaelMothibi
      @IshmaelMothibi  Před 2 lety +2

      That depends on what you are coming to Ireland for. If to study, you will need to get a student visa once you arrive in Ireland. If you are visiting, you need your passport, proof of accommodation and funds for the time you will be in Ireland.
