Original video edited and AI remastered with HQ stereo sound.
"She’s Just My Style" is a song written by Al Capps, Thomas Lesslie "Snuff" Garrett, Gary Lewis, and Leon Russell and was recorded by Gary Lewis & the Playboys. The song reached #3 on The Billboard Hot 100 in January 1966.
Gary Lewis confirms that "She's Just My Style" is the song of his that gets the most airplay today on radio. He told interviewer Ray Shasho in 2013 that he sought to emulate the style of The Beach Boys with the recording. "That's exactly what we were going for too. Even before we started writing it we said 'Let's go for The Beach Boys thing; a little rock and roll with a lot of harmony and I was really happy the way we pulled it off."
The recording also has the distinction of being the very first session that legendary studio drummer Jim Keltner played on, shortly after his arrival in Hollywood from Oklahoma, as Keltner himself related in an interview available on CZcams.

I was living in the same town as Linda Blair of 'The Exorcist' the first time I heard this song. I was nine years old at the time; Linda would have been six. I never actually got to meet her, but my late brother was invited over to her house by her mom to give guitar lessons to her older sister. All these years later, I still love this and can't seem to get it out of my system.

That accordion player sure is a ham at :40 trying to steal the limelight. Another great hit from this group. The song that always uplifts me is, Green Grass and I just looked for it and found Gary singing a live 2013 version - not as good as original but so nice to see him looking good & playing in his late 60s.

Just so you know...Gary Lewis sang lead on the recording but none of the band members sang back up or harmony on this recording...they are just mimicking singing....they hired proffessional singers for this recording. Gary Lewis said in an interview he walked into the recording studio and met all these singers that he had never met before and never seen since after the recording was completed for this song.

The tease on my Share. Meant in all awesomness.
The electric clavinet part will be keyboard synched by a bass voice wilth an accordions. Pushing the Cool Meter to Myron Floren red line range. Bob Wills had a fiddle. But his keyboard Texas Playboy was
    just a piano.
