- Need to add the best fertilizer to your fertilizer plan? When it comes down to fertilizers there are hundreds on the market, and the choices range widely across the different lines. One of my favorite products that I’ve worked with has been the Green County Fertilizer Next line. Hands down over the years it has performed for me and my clients. It is a staple go to for me. Their lines consist of Rgs, Air8, micro Greene, Humic 12, greenePop, GreenCharge, GreenePunch, GreenEffect, Floragreene, SpoonJuice, etc. so there are lots of choices, but what would the owner, John Perry choose for his favorite? Guess I’m adding Greene Charge to the stash 😊
Imo not a bad move at all! You will love it I believe!
I like this video. I agree with RGS. Have not used Green Charge or Green Effect yet.
They are fire! Def worth the look 👀
Buddy! I am back!!! Where is Jon’s coffee mug and the slurping? I know, I beat this into the dirt but how else would you remember me? 😂
Hey Sean! Glad to see ya back. Who knows where it was, I didn’t see his mug while we were there. 🤣
@@TheGreenerLawn I thought that was the main reason why you went there! Disguising your visit as a “favorite lawn product” video.
@@seanmclaughlin7415 naw, went up there to hang out with him. Was talking over some projects we are going to work on this week, I got a wild hair and asked him the question with my phone rolling..
We definitely see this being a solid regimen, definitely our top sellers for sure!

@@TriDaddy not currently, but we will prob have 10ish % off around the 4th of July (working on the numbers right now.)
I started using RGS and humic 12 , I will try the greener lawn. I like what RGS and humic 12 has made in my lawn program. Thanks
Let me know if you have any questions, reach out direct to info@diygrasscare.com and I can help you there!
GCF has a great product line - I use most products monthly
SMART 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I use the same with humic12
The humic is a staple ( I honestly forgot my use of this tbh, 🫣)
I live in Brookings Oregon and I’ve always been able to keep my lawn green and thick, this year I’ve used the same product and it has a lot of dry/dead spots and then one spot the grass just stopped growing and is just kinda mud/dirt. Idk what to do but I may try out this and see if it works!
👌🏻
Thanks for the vid!
Audio seems low - maybe my headset.
Thanks for the feedback. I double checked it on 3 sources, doesn’t seem overly low. But when i correct my audio I only go to low green portion so I don’t over blast things. Would you mind dbl checking with a different source?
Glad you enjoyed it.
What would happen if you use greencharge in the summer for a cool season grass such as kbg. Would it cause burning
Nope it’s my summer applicaion w/ 0 issues
You should have your logo on all the Greene County Fertilizer products. "The Greener Lawn " I mean come on make sense to me. If the Yankees can have a Starr patch on their uniforms this is a no brainer 🤦♂👍🏻💚🦸🏻♂
I mean I’d love it, but I don’t have rights to these products as others do. I’m just a firm believe in there ability’s in lawns around the USA.
So for someone looking to move into spoon feeding a lawn, what frequency would you use these products? I use Greene Effect starting in July in summer to green up but would like to move to a spoon feeding program. I currently use Pete Denny's recommended granular Protene products. Thanks for your content.
Spoon fed is bi monthly or weekly. I personally run them weekly at 2 oz a week on green charge and geez effect and bi monthly I use rgs 3 oz and air8 at 6 oz. This will pare nicely with Pete stuff.
Glad you enjoy it!
I use Greene Effect once annually in mid-spring (which is April where I live) at 12 oz per thousand with great results, even though the label says 8 oz. Really kicks in the nitrogen. I like Greene Effect because you don't have to water it in unlike everything else so I apply it in the evening and leave it. So far I've only been using it once a year to kick things off but I do like your spoon feed idea. Good luck.
Im having sod layed down this week . Im out i. Phoenix arizona n was seeing what i should do after its installed?? Should i use rgs rite away???
Yup, awesome riming for it, but be care it’s not to soggy so you cause issues walking on it. Rgs is an awesome hit to really jumpstart the roots. It should come with enough nutrients(for 4-8 weeks), so it’s just the root stimulants what will assist here. I normally have folks run it as they get it and every 2-4 weeks depending on time they get have to get it out.
I'm just starting out with these products but I ordered pretty much their whole line. LOL. I'm doing Humic. Air 8 and RGS this week to start on my Zoysia. I was planning on Green Effect but I also have green charge. I'm assuming you would not use both so I lean toward Green Effect for the iron as my first application.
Also, I'm assuming you use these as a replacement for your granular applications? I still have some granular stuff left over.
You can still use the granular products, you just substitute them in an out. So for you, I would use your granular products to hold during the summer by putting them down light light while using green charge or green effect over the top for the deep coloration, it really depends on your granular product how we would want to run them though, so let me know what you have there.
Difference between effect and charge, effect is going to just green it up and not cause a lot of top growth, while charge green it up and gives you growth at the same time.
They can be used together, but definitely at half rates or less, as you’ll be getting a lot of iron.
@@TheGreenerLawn Thank you. I typically go light and frequent on my granular. Ie a 18-18-18 or a 24-0-11 type install, depending on whats available at my local store and how my soil numbers are for the season. I do every 4-6 weeks but I keep it light. I am planning on spraying Humic, RGS, and Air-8 today or tomorrow. I am not sure if I can do Green Effect with that so I was planning on Green Effect later and possibly combining another product at that time.
I forgot to mention. The combo I was thinking on using was Green Effect and Micro Green.
Looking Great. !! I use RGS, AR8, Humic 12,building soil and roots for last 8 mos. Do you think Cytogro(50 ppm cytokinin) verses SEA-K( 200 ppm cytokinin, plus giberillins) better for promotiong root growth and less top growth?
Growth using sea kelp (cytokinin) in either form is mainly focused on root development… but the side effect of better roots is more grass blades, not so much vertical growth. You’re fine on either for that mode. What are your nitrogen inputs?
@@TheGreenerLawn Thanks for answering. Nitrogen inputs: spoon feed Liquid Greene Punch, Green Effect, flagship granular, and alfalfa meal, chicken feed and chicken poo, little milorganite.
@@geoffkopecky3652spoon feeding these, what is your regimen? This is where your main top growth is going to come from tho vs your kelp products.
@@TheGreenerLawn Thank you. I need to be more orderly, apply less N and focus on kelp products like you say. I may have applied too much N and it may be starting to lawn little yellow/dried out. Thank you for your interest. This is a real science and ART to perfect with so many variables like your awesome lawn. THANK YOU.
@@geoffkopecky3652 ohh yea 💯 it is! Alwaysz glad to help, and bounce things off! I always love seeing awesome lawns as well, email me at info@diygrasscare.com I’d love to see what you’re creating!
