- Here is something from the DisneyExaminer archives. This is full video of the Grand Opening Ceremony for Toy Story Mania that took place on June 17, 2008. Toy Story Mania was the first new addition to DCA as part of the 5 year expansion process that will end this year with the opening of Buena Vista Street and Cars Land.

As we countdown to the completion of the 5 year expansion of Disney California Adventure Park, we will be posting and highlighting various videos and pictures of the grand opening ceremonies of all the new attractions and shows that debuted as part of that 5 year DCA expansion process.

This is another nostalgic moment that plenty of Disney fans and Annual Passholders would love to cherish forever in their magical hearts is the grand opening ceremony of Toy Story Mania at Disney California Adventure. 👍🏼if you're having some flashbacks of it during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I ride it everytime i got to Disneyland and it always makes my arms sore from pulling the string on the spring action shooter but it’s worth it
