I love the part where she said "it's bombing time" and bombed at the box office
When people just saw how bad the Marvels were with their three leading girls showing girl power. I think this movie will bomb even harder with barely making 20 million in its oppening weekend, that is my expection for this movie, when Marvel made 46 million domestically in their oppening weekend.
The villain looks pretty solid and threatening, i think the villain will carry the movie to success single handedly.

Great movie! Honestly, if the movie wasn’t stamped as a super heroes movie and was instead a scifi thriller, it would’ve been far better received. His movie has a great concept, great character development, and the dialogue felt natural for the characters. 4.5/5 for me.

So, I started to stream this film. Stopped like 20 minutes in because it was so bad. Friend talked me into going back because its a great example of how to make a bad film so...watched another 20 and stopped. 2 days later did another 30...then came back to try to finish it and still ended up not doing turning it off right near the end of the "final fight".
One of the worst films I have ever seen in my life. Whoever wrote, directed and produced this should be kicked out of hollywood. Madame Web is not supposed to have anything to do with Spiderman powers and its clear whoever took part in creating this had no idea WTF they were doing.

i don't even understand how even THAT was written so bad. i cant write for shit and can think of 20 ways to do it better. a snarky "nah, doesn't seam like it!" would have landed 10x better.
My favorite was when she was at a bar and a giant spodermen crashes into the world trade center and she chugs her beer slams down her glass and says. "i guess were really Madame webbing this."
Oh yeah. I had almost forgotten Madame Web existed in the spiderman universe. I remember her from I think a 90's Spiderman cartoon. the episode multiparter where the Green Goblin and Mary Jane get sucked into a wormhole from the Spot's wormhole machine and get stuck in the void. She was very different back then.
When the villain said "just give up, you cannot win Monsieur Web" and she responded "it's MADAME WEB", I got chills.

This movie got me so excited! Sure it’s not overwhelming but it has great potential. Feels like an origin story for something bigger. It was nice to watch. There wasn’t so much going on but that was a nice change. I liked that it wasn’t much of that hero play. Although I do think it could have been done better. The trailer does feel like it tells the whole story, but it doesn’t. It be very interesting if they continue. It does feel like that was the plan. Like the introduction of a new generation. I don’t know how to say what I like without any spoilers, so I’ll just leave it at that.
This movie is really bad. No wonder it was a massive flop.
