I recorded the screen of my MacBook, when I watch the video my cursor does not appear, is it possible to make it appears?? because I am recording tutorial from my work.
edit. Only the mouse click appears, but the mouse itself does not appear.
Hmmmm yeah that’s strange. If you open the screen recording box and click on settings. You should see the mouse options. Usually you can’t switch it off and on, it’s just on and all you can change is the cursor colour or whether you want clicks to show. Maybe try a different colour. Also. When editing, that video file should have a cursor option, check everything looks ok in there to.

Thanks but everytime i try to open the chrome site I want to record, the recorder itself disappears. Why does it do this?
@@TIMAFEY2 hmmm that’s odd. It can minimise into the system tray (if using windows) usually after you’ve selected your screen. If it isn’t that, does it only do it in chrome? I wonder if a chrome plugin could be interfering?
@JonDavis thanks for the tutorial. I notice that when you choose circle for the PIP webcam video is still shows the rectangle frame? Why does it do this? Can you remove it?
Hi Andrew. Thanks for watching. What’s the timestamp in the video? I just rewatched it in case I’ve made a mistake (wouldn’t be the first 😃). I looked at around 4 mins and it definitely changes. Is this somewhere else?
How do you get the sound right for doing reaction youtube videos? I did this and my voice is good but the sound of the youtube video is low and not crisp.
So do you mean the audio from the original clip? There should be an option to tick system audio. I would play around with that. Try and test whether it’s picking up audio that is played back internally via system or if it’s picking it up via your mic and the external playback in your room (which will be poor quality). That make sense?

If I open filmora the initial splash screen has a button called “screen recorder “
Even if I ignore that and create a new project, I can click on media tab, the record dropdown button, choose record pc screen. That then opens a smaller screen where you can activate / choose your webcam or mic or set the screen size (full, custom, target).
Do you not get the same options? What version of filmora are you using if not?
how can you stop recording on filmora then if the button dissapears in chrome idk why
It should go into the system tray where you can click on it. Or there’s function keys you can press. Can’t remember exactly, F9 or F10. It should tell you them in the preferences or before you press record. Hope that helps
