I was 11 year old at filming locations THE BORDER with Jack Nicholson and Valerie Perrne and young Elpidia Carrillo . Jack did that train seen 4 time because he couldn't catch the actor under the train. and Valerie Perrine called me here Little Man. I was in the border with Charlie Bronson a remake of the first border movie in the river seen . those were some good old days ...R.I.P. Charles Bronson thank you guy for giving me a small part in your movies.......

this is by far one of the best roles i've ever seen JN in. Awesome movie.

Interesting that a good portion of the trailer features footage that was cut from the theatrical release...the ending in particular.
Great movie, about a not so great issue in America AND Mexico. Even better is what a great actor Nicholson is...Before he literally lost his mind.

This looks badass
Most people have never heard of this movie or seen it. Its a really good film. Highly intense and great acting from Nicholson, Harvey Keitel, Warren Oates and Valerie Perrine.
The trailer gives it a Serpico look. Something underhanded going on, and he dosent want any part .
But it's not. Saw it last January

Very good movie, showing how cruel people could be, so if USA show this offically(producing), can't be bad all Americans, in my opinion has to be some of them good and honest, otherwise wouldn't show drty tricks, also in other movies too.There are not that kind of movies in my country Slovenia, looks like there are saints,but are not. I can see every day how slovenians are drty towards me officially and I didn't do anything wrong, the most drty country in the world is Slovenia(in my opinion). Nowhere in countries i couldn't see so bad things towards me, and i been in many countries.
I have to admit the most movies I saw are Americans and are good and realistic, especially from '60 and '70, even some new are still good.

Excellent casting and Jack Nicholson in particular is phenomenal but the film is rather flat.
