This looks great. But, how will the dope head know this is installed and the tailgate will be next to impossible to get off? They're going to jam the screwdriver in your gate lock, and damage it (possibly the metal and paint as well) only to leave it. You're going to be on the hook to do the repair work, which will cost how much? Just looking at all the angles.

When I got my Taco I had the dealership install the power lock for the tailgate. So, if the doors are locked so's the tailgate.

This was a very informative review! I’m currently in the “kicking tire” phase on the purchase of a Taco/Tundra, and one my concern was how to keep the tailgate from going up the nose of some crack/meth fiend. Now I am educated. Thanks
