These stats upgrades are basically the same ones found in the Research tree. My guess is IGG offered this feature to get players to remain active if their research is nearly complete. And the Artifacts can be completely F2P just like the Research trees. The debate should be time versus money. If you got money to spend, then you'll save time and upgrade the Artifacts faster. If you're F2P, just continue farming.

Hi. 1st of all. Better way is collect shards of blue artifacts. 25 for 3rd star, 50 for 4th and 100 for 5th. So 175 for getting 5-star blue. Plus 150 for conversion of 4th star and 300 for 5th star on purple artifact. So 625 shards of any blue artifact. For purple its 35, 70, 140. Plus 450 to be able to convert for 4th n 5th star on gold. 695 purple. For gold its 50, 100, 200. So to get 1 gold 5-star artifact you need 695 purple and 625 blue and 350 gold shards. And don't rush to enhance blue and purple ones. Make 2 or 3 star for gold artifacts. You don't know which shards comes enough. Patience is key

This works same as familiars, so pretty much that's the right way to upgrade them
@@denad2 besides that, you still can shutter the medals of lower ones and make fragments to upgrade better familiars
@@boi8bp233 You can do that for all familiar medals. Higher pacts give more fragments per shatter, not to mention how you get fragments from just opening pacts as well. If you don't spend high amounts of fragments daily, you can get by without needing to shatter any of them. That being said, the guy above was correct. You can focus on any familiar without having to max out the lower pacts, unlike the artifacts where you can't do that without maxing the lower grade ones

Do not upgrade the blue ones
For enancing dont upgrade blue ones at the beginning as well and start with those which give you atk especially with the one which give you the Most atk - once you done them you can make 1 blue to max to get additional shards - do Not blindely Put 2-3 Stars on Blues because that gives you nothing
Why make it this way? Well you want to have at the end the gold ones so you need them at some Point to lvl 3 anyway and why should you do it later?

Worth Prince HOW ARE YOU? Been trying to ask something. I got 30k coins saved up. Haven’t opened any chest besides free daily. (Got 2500 common books so far from that) Should I keep saving? By me keep saving, is it going to be harder to catch up? Just curious. I was gonna wait til 50k then do a big opening
BTW, all I have is 30 day bundle, 7 day bundle. Plus I do all the daily quest and kingdom.I hoard lots of stuff lmao. Gems, Technos etc. but recently I used a ton of techno to get a lot of trees maxed out. I’m almost done with top 2 rows and familiar, excluding Def trees

I love how you say this update is not expensive and then you show why it is really expensive due to extreme additional requirements to upgrade. It does not matter if you start from gold or blue, at the end, only big spenders will push it to reasonably high level.
@@Oo0STR I wish I got paid to do this. I agree with my statements I made in the video. It's very expensive if you are of the mindset to max it in 1 week. However, regardless of the extra process to upgrade the final levels, if you do it over a period of time and have patience it will be ALOT cheaper.

@@worthyprince I agree with you that its cheap. They give out coins from the cheapest places. Now cheap might be relative, but if you get the $10 a month package, you get a lot of coins daily.
Then you get the $5 labors upgrade and you get a lot more coins. I think even the upgraded daily login gives you more once in awhile.
Just with those, some people would think $17 a month is expensive but I would say it isnt and those are essential buys for people willing to spend a little on the game.
I never buy coin packs and am patient and I have opened 870 by now, have gotten all the legendaries I care about to 3 star and most of the epics. I actually didnt know how to get shards until now so i cant to look and wish I saw this video months ago.
My advice is get your legendaries that you prefer to 3 star, and then skip epics and go to rares. Might as well... Epics are good but not great.
And as ending advice, everything needs patience, but if you are f2p then just hyperfocus on one troop type and only worry about the artifacts that can enhance that troop and you will do great. A friend does that and his range is deadly. It has its applications and allows him to be a rally lead in DA situationally, great for high level nest runs, and of course, in kvk he just chooses his targets more carefully. Another guy mostly focuses on inf and they are buddies so they compliment each other.

I keep seeing these posts and I honestly have to laugh a bit. You are posting it because you were told to post it but don't realize that it's pissing about barely any difference. I'm actually convinced that the person who told you to come here doesn't even understand what he's doing or trying to drive controversy over something that doesn't even have a difference. You need BOTH of the artifacts leveled up in order to progress them. This is Lords Mobile where the upgrades don't really matter until the last upgrades.
