I agree. I really do. But if research has shown it has improved children's dental health, then I think it should be taught in schools. I think the research shows that some kids are not getting looked after properly, and that's really tragic. If the school is needed to fill the gap, then ok. Perhaps parental participation could be encouraged by the school. I do think it's really sad this is necessary and I feel sorry for the kids who's parents are not teaching them the basics properly :(
I remember a lady coming from the health dept to my school teaching us all to brush our teeth correctly in 1970’s England
