The issue with running the PC in the freezer is exactly what you said at the beginning of that segment: freezers are meant to maintain a certain temperature. It doesn't take much for them to do that when you only open it a few times a day. But if you put a heat source in there, it'll have to deal with constantly cooling, which is something it's not really equipped for and either everything will melt, causing condensation damage to the PC, or the freezer will overheat itself trying to keep up 😂
That's why you don't put soup in the fridge to cool down...
What happens if u just put the radiator in the feezer
@@Durkhead That's the same thing, the radiator is dumping out heat which a fridge isn't designed to handle.
Not to mention that there may be humidity which can short the motherboard
The main issue is condensation. It will short the circuits

The riser cable thing was crazy. My friend needed a single riser cable and had to return 3 of them before one worked correctly haha
if your friend was using a 4.0 cable, its because higher data rate cables are significantly harder to produce(and why they are expensive)

It's funny to me that Linus has disproven many of these already, and he did it a couple years ago. The different thermal materials, the fridge PC, and the many PCI-e extensions are all things that have been done. It's wack to me that people STILL ask if these are possible with the amount and speed of access to all this information. like, did these people with these tiktoks even think to Google it before making the vids?

I have questions regarding 2 of these tests:
1.Deodorant test: you did not show no-paste test, as in dry vs improv if you don't have paste (I have run a lot of short tests without paste, max 2h).
2.PCIe riser: you did not show link speeds (riser rating and actual link speed). Since PCIe 3.0 risers (the 1st ones) cause problems with PCIe 4.0 setups, I would have liked to see what speeds were actually achieved. Also if forcing to PCIe 1.0 would have gained additional risers (again, I don't know if your 2m chain dropped it to 1.0 or 2.0).

I'm pretty sure the deodorant hack is supposed to be anti-persperant. Anti-persperant contains aluminum which is a usable conductor as opposed to deodorant which contains fragrance with waxy-like materials (sorry - don't have any here to double check) and no aluminum.
