29 here, (15 in 2006), and glad I was able to live through the Hardcore/Metalcore (and its subgenres) scene, that included bands like Abandon All Ships, Enter Shikari, KillSwitch Engage, Sky Eats Airplane, BMTH, Devil Wears Prada, >Knights of the Abyss< honorable mention, Job for a cowboy, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Drop Dead Gorgeous (In Vogue album), Miss May I, Arsonists Get All The Girls, Attack Attack, Asking Alexandria, Norma Jean, Of Mice and Men, Memphis May Fire, blessthefall, Flyleaf, The Agonist, Chelsea Grin, and im missing so much more but thats essentially off the top of my head.

Loved this band every since I came to Canada. Take one last breath was my first song (i never listened to anything screamo like prior, this band was my first). I still listen to AAS songs till now ❤️ so glad that conveniently they participated in a free local concert close to where i lived literally as soon as i heard of them and i got to see em! So sad i didn’t stay longer and didn’t get a chance to meet em when my classmates did 😭😭
