- PCF GRAVEL RACE... This race is special, I remember PCF gavel race last 2022 that's my first ever gravel race. Halos hindi pa masyadong sikat ang gravel racing and riding noon. I was one of the first content creator na nagpasikat ng gravel cycling sa Pilipinas. Now after a year here we are, gravel events and gravel races are coming. Syempre thanks sa lahat ng mga siklitang nahilig at syempre sa Philippine Cycling Festival na din and Shimano Philippines na isa sa mga nagpaevent sa kinahihiligang gravel cycling na ito. In this video I will share to you my PCF 2023 gravel race experience and race vlog. I hope na magustuhan niyo parin ang vlog na ito. Thank you very much.

Ang talagang nagustuhan ko sa upload na ito ay ang mga insights mo on how to ride really smart and why you ride a bike.
From, the importance of track reading, drafting, pacing and knowing your limits and not blowing yourself up, mental preparation and awareness of how much effort you need and recovery times while riding.
I would add, the importance of nutrition and hydration before and during the ride and after.
I think you touched this on your previous videos.
All these are very very important if you are in a race.
In fact, these are all important if you are an avid cyclist.
But you really touched on what makes and keeps you riding sa ending nang upload mo.
It's not about how fast, strong you are or your expensive bike.
You call it, "the Spirit of Gravel," I prefer Ian of Unliahon's term, of "smiles per hour. "
You ride because of the great vibes that you experience, in short, it makes you happy.
There is always this feeling, sensation of contentment, peace and good vibes that is really hard to describe, that any avid cyclist feels after each ride.
Remember, unless you get paid a salary to ride a bike and race, 99.9% of cyclists are amateurs.

Ganda ng latag mo chef. Real talk ung pagpili ng tires ang hirap kung pipili ka ng more on traction o more on fast rolling. Grabe ang lakas mo sa ahon, tukod ako dun sa siko na rough road pa batyawan pero sayo parang napaka simple lang. Hahaha! Congrats sa atin Chef. :)

Thank you for the video chef! Looks like it was a lot of fun. I'm gonna be visiting the Philippines next month and would love to go on some rides, but I cannot find any shops there that rent bikes. Do you know of any shops that rent road or gravel bikes? I might just have to bring mine
I dont have idea regarding on rent a bike.. I will ask if here in Pampanga if they offer at cycles and brew bike shop.

I think gravel bikes are overrated..
