I keep hearing online to invest often, for example dollar cost averaging, i just wanna know how we go about it, like and index fund but lets say i want to buy $100 worth but then it would say there is a minimum amount to buy, how do we actually do the dollar cost average if thats the case??? Great video V, one that folks really need to watch. I’m 53, retired a while at 45 and through the years I have learnt the importance of having multiple income streams. I have 25% of my capital invstments in an ART, 35% in index funds, and the balance spread across other investment accts which produce a cumulative of over $ 2.3M annually for me. Zero debt and all is going well, my financial consultant has been my number one help in achieving all this throughout the years.
In my honest opinion, one should live below their means & try to invest. I know it’s difficult but it's also necessary. I've made lots of money mistakes in the past but I don’t regret it as I've learnt from them. Now I’m just focusing on the s&p 500 and waiting for a few years.
@@callumfrank Yeah that's a great plan. You should focus on a good ETF of the s&p 500, relax back and watch it compound within the years. You could become a millionaire in good time.
In my case Klaus Cassius has helped me to do that proficiently. I'm not a professional so I don't really have experience in investment strategies. I get capital and leave a consultant to handle the rest.

In order to make profits from trading you need loads of experience and a well defined strategy, which most traders don't have. If you trade without the proper preparation, you're most likely to lose your money. Identify the buy/sell ratios and identify the market leaders and most importantly. Diversify! this will help you spread risk

Oh hey! My brokerage is Fidelity. I used to go through Robinhood, but I switched to Fidelity late March of this year. I'm pretty happy with Fidelity as of now.
Reasons: They have live customer support, meaning if I have a question I get to actually talk to a human being on the phone or in person. They have their own net worth calculator via Fullview that links to all of your online accounts. They have pretty good stock research tools. Granted, most of the information in those tools is information you can find elsewhere, but it's nice to have it all in one place. I can do dividend reinvestment and fractional shares. Also, I can trade commission free.

the emergency fund consists of 3 - 6 months worth of your bills and expenses. this is to be kept and used in the off chance that something happens to you and you are not able to work and earn money for a period of time. it is for your own financial security.

Hi, first time seeing your videos! Thanks for the content, is amazing and super easy to understand. One question though: -If I invest 500aud per month for a year ($6,000 total) -And i make 7% interest over it, which from your video I understood is a logic amount/assumpt (getting $420 revenue, raising the total to $6,420) -Then I sustract all the trans fees (for the example lets say only 2, one buying and one selling at $10 each), now i have $6,400 -Then I pay 15% tax over half the money I got back (15% of half of $6,400 would be $480) -Now I have $5,920 haha I reckon there is something im not quite understanding because it wouldn't make sense hahah...also I know there are tons of math mistakes in that example it is a combina of my trying to keep it simple and ignorance hahaha Once again, thanks for your content!
You only pay capital gains tax when you sell your shares so if you leave it in stocks you don’t pay tax ☺️ plus you get a discount if you hold onto it for more than 12 months!

In order to make profits from trading you need loads of experience and a well defined strategy, which most traders don't have. If you trade without the proper preparation, you're most likely to lose your money. Identify the buy/sell ratios and identify the market leaders and most importantly. Diversify! this will help you spread risk

You can look her up online if you care supervision. I basically follow her market moves and haven’t regretted doing so

Oh hey! My brokerage is Fidelity. I used to go through Robinhood, but I switched to Fidelity late March of this year.
I'm pretty happy with Fidelity as of now.
Reasons:
They have live customer support, meaning if I have a question I get to actually talk to a human being on the phone or in person.
They have their own net worth calculator via Fullview that links to all of your online accounts.
They have pretty good stock research tools. Granted, most of the information in those tools is information you can find elsewhere, but it's nice to have it all in one place.
I can do dividend reinvestment and fractional shares. Also, I can trade commission free.

Hi! Just a quick question1. Is the emergency fund like having a long term savings account? Or is it in case you lose money? I didnt quite get what it is for
the emergency fund consists of 3 - 6 months worth of your bills and expenses. this is to be kept and used in the off chance that something happens to you and you are not able to work and earn money for a period of time. it is for your own financial security.

Hi, first time seeing your videos! Thanks for the content, is amazing and super easy to understand. One question though:
-If I invest 500aud per month for a year ($6,000 total)
-And i make 7% interest over it, which from your video I understood is a logic amount/assumpt (getting $420 revenue, raising the total to $6,420)
-Then I sustract all the trans fees (for the example lets say only 2, one buying and one selling at $10 each), now i have $6,400
-Then I pay 15% tax over half the money I got back (15% of half of $6,400 would be $480)
-Now I have $5,920 haha
I reckon there is something im not quite understanding because it wouldn't make sense hahah...also I know there are tons of math mistakes in that example it is a combina of my trying to keep it simple and ignorance hahaha

You only pay capital gains tax when you sell your shares so if you leave it in stocks you don’t pay tax ☺️ plus you get a discount if you hold onto it for more than 12 months!

I’m glad to hear that I followed most of the tips you’ve shared here though. I use self wealth for my Aussie shares, it’s the cheapest broker ($9.50 flat fee) and in the future if I want to invest in the US market I’ll look at stakes! I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 200K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a Fin-Advisor) do it for me? Please share your thoughts.
