Mighty morphin power rangers the movie is how I know this song. And regardless of their heavy synthesizer and change of singer structure. This is an amazing song and goes to show that van hagar did at least do something good. R.I.P Eddie
Hagar is IMHO, the best rock and roll artist overall (singing, writing, performing, etc.). I could name so many songs that he just flat out rocks on, with Van Halen and without. Regardless, the combination Sammy and Eddie had, though tumultuous as it may have been, produced a LOT of seriously talented rock and roll. I also love the Roth days, and the fact is, the two entities were different, yet brilliant in their own ways. Rock on, Eddie. Keep making thunder in the skies.

I’m 14 years old, and so far from the 80s it seems like another century (Wait...) but when I was young(er) I had a Walkman. Yeah, one of those things. With the Power Rangers soundtrack. I didn’t know who Van Halen was, and I didn’t know that the games I was playing on an NES emulator were from years ago. All I knew was I loved them. I loved these old songs and those old 8-bit games and still do. I might not be an 80s kid, but damn it! I am at heart.

Yeah. This song feels like it's pushing my heart through my neck and chest into a world of wonder and inspiration. Overtime, lust pride and sex have become the predominant powers in songs. When I became a Christian, I gave up on music. Then I was introduced to the fact that there is actually good gospel music in all genres. From rap to heavy metal... don't expect it in the mainstream tho, truth doesn't sell.
RIP Eddie. This was one of my go to songs when I was diagnosed with cancer. Coming home from treatments, I'd lose myself in classic rock and just enjoy every day for what it was. That was 18 years ago. Cancer takes way too many people from us. Your music will live on forever. Rock out sir! \m/

@@tsmar9939 lol yeah right
LOL I think he meant Jump the Shark which is when Diamond Dave finally did and his time was over in VH
Remember the last stanza of this song guys! Let us cry but remember we have to be strong for ourselves and others that look to us! RIP JDF!
“So baby, dry your eyes
Save all the tears you've cried
Oh, that's what dreams are made of
Oh baby, we belong
In a world that must be strong
Oh, that's what dreams are made of
And in the end
On dreams we will depend
'Cause that's what love is made of”
r.i.p Eddie Van Halen. Forever on the Mount Rushmore of guitar gods. You will be missed.
Tears... even though a guy... hard to hold back. News just an hour ago... just... not fair, not right. Eddie & Valerie friends of the family... BIG heart & hugs go out to Valerie and their son Wolfgang today... and forever more.
Rock that great big gig in the sky Eddie... peace out 😞
He's a LEGEND. This one hurts hard. I keep crying for someone I didn't know, but meant SO much.
Tammy Hamilton Music touches everyones soul whether they are hardened or soft. Each person relates to music in their own way. Eddie’s music touched the world. Gave all of us... happy rockin moments. It would be proper to say that Eddie helped make our lives better to some degree. For this he will be greatly missed.

Man what a voice, he sings the entire song with such high notes its incredible!!!!
Sammy's highs are pushing my component tweeter car speakers to the max!
RIP Jason David Frank. best ranger 😭❤ "Anything's possible" - JDF, most memorable line in the mighty morphin ivan ooze movie
we are the type of people that when hear about a musician just passed away listens to their music, i think it's a good way of make a tribute :c
They poured their hearts out on this song. No doubt
In every song
I'm looking for my cassette tape of this
Hands down Sammy's best vocal performance.
This song motivates anyone to do anything this is hard.

Rip Jason 💚🤍❤️🖤
RIP TOMMY 🙏 The Green /White Power Ranger
His guitar will never die, I love this song.
Eddie's best synthesizer song. RIP to a legend!
* rocks out sadly *
RIP Jason David Frank. 🤍
Somewhere in time I’m mowing my lawn as a teenager listening to this. Take me back.
RIP EDDIE. I’m heartbroken and sobbing right now. When my son was a baby and we were in the air force, we made a video of the Thunderbirds to this song. Also another to When Love Walks In for our baby son. Precious.
Hopefully we will meet him on the other side.
I'm sobbing right along with you. I can't stop crying. Feels like a big piece of my youth has been ripped away. Condolences to his family.
Legend. Wanted one more tour with Sammy 😢
Im 54 and play guitar 🎸. Eddie has been a great influence on me. I never met the man but I loved him. He was the best guitarist of all. But more importantly he was a great father and person ❤

Im crying now ..😣😭
Goodbye legend..
Thanks for making us happy.. you are true hero..
RIP Jason David Frank, i remember that song in the Power Rangers movie. Great memories, thanks for the childhood memories. You're dearly missed.
I remember being confused about how they changed the red ranger, yellow ranger and black ranger, then disappointed that they replaced them with 3 nobodies. It was obvious that I missed a season of the show before getting around to the movie.
RIP JASON DAVID FRANK/ TOMMY OLIVER ..
Mighty morphin power rangers the movie is how I know this song. And regardless of their heavy synthesizer and change of singer structure. This is an amazing song and goes to show that van hagar did at least do something good. R.I.P Eddie
AGREED!!!! 100%!!!!! 🤘🏻🍻
One of the movies I watched a lot when I was little in the late 90s. Love the movie ending. RIP Eddie
Same with the Power Rangers movie!!
i'm looking for this comment! haha
RIP Eddie. Thank you for the great childhood memories. Will always follow my dreams.
i came here because of Jason David Frank AKA Tommy The Green Ranger White Ranger And Red 1973-2022 may he RIP. This song played at the end of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Movie that he starred in.
World turns black and white
Pictures in an empty room
Your love starts fallin' down
Better change your tune
Yeah, you reach for the golden ring
Reach for the sky
Baby, just spread your wings
And get higher and higher
Straight up we'll climb
We'll get higher and higher
Leave it all behind
Run, run, run away
Like a train runnin' off the track
Got the truth bein' left behind
Fall between the cracks
Standin' on broken dreams
Never losin' sight, ah
Well, just spread your wings
We'll get higher and higher
Straight up we'll climb
We'll get higher and higher
Leave it all behind
So baby, dry your eyes
Save all the tears you've cried
Oh, that's what dreams are made of
'Cause we belong
In a world that must be strong
Oh, that's what dreams are made of
Yeah, we'll get higher and higher
Straight up we'll climb
Higher and higher
Leave it all behind
Oh, we'll get higher and higher
Who knows what we'll find?
So baby, dry your eyes
Save all the tears you've cried
Oh, that's what dreams are made of
Oh baby, we belong
In a world that must be strong
Oh, that's what dreams are made of
And in the end
On dreams we will depend
'Cause that's what love is made of
Thank you
"So, baby, dry your eyes, save all the tears you cry..." - it's hard to.
RIP Eddie. And thank you for the music.
RIP Eddie Van Halen. You and this song along with many others have bought so much joy to my life.
RIP Jason David Frank
Rest in peace Jason and Edward van halen
I’m 14 years old, and so far from the 80s it seems like another century (Wait...) but when I was young(er) I had a Walkman. Yeah, one of those things. With the Power Rangers soundtrack. I didn’t know who Van Halen was, and I didn’t know that the games I was playing on an NES emulator were from years ago. All I knew was I loved them. I loved these old songs and those old 8-bit games and still do. I might not be an 80s kid, but damn it! I am at heart.
This is my favorite Van Halen song rest in peace Eddie
R.I.P Jason David Frank
RIP JDF the greatest Ranger
"So baby dry your eyes, save all
The tears you've cried
Oh that's what dreams are made of"
Easily the most emotional VH lyric . Still reminds of a beautiful girl I left behind in 1986.
@@007ndc ohh man...
Rest in peace Jason David Frank. I love you man.
Sammy's vocals are extremely touching here...He is amazing
Not many singers can fill a massive gap in a band's roster and still have every album released during their run with the group go to number one on the sales charts.
Jason David Frank was the hero of my
Childhood, I wanted to be the Green Ranger so bad, I can’t believe he is gone so young, rest in peace thank you for shaping my
Childhood
RIP JDF!
Rest in peace van for a legend joins you too rip Jason white/green ranger both kings
RIP Tommy. RIP JDF.
This was my sister’s favorite song. She would go out of her way to help her family including her son and daughter-in-law on whatever
Problems they’ve had. Im going to miss you very much hope you are rocking up in heaven
Damn, I know that most people today get depressed and feel "isolated" when they hear "old stuff" but god dammit this is just so uplifting man, so full of energy so happy, music until the early 90s used to transmit so many more sensations and feelings than it does now
Rest in Power , JDF
Rest In Peace JDF aka Tommy! 🙏🏾
RIP Eddie. This was one of my go to songs when I was diagnosed with cancer. Coming home from treatments, I'd lose myself in classic rock and just enjoy every day for what it was. That was 18 years ago. Cancer takes way too many people from us. Your music will live on forever. Rock out sir! \m/
Sheer, unadulterated, American rock. This song just makes me jealous of birds coz I just want to soar through the sky every time I hear it. So I'm playing air guitar in the clouds right now to Eddie's awesome solo. R. I. P. EVH we have your echo's.
For Tommy Oliver (Jason David Frank) 2022... ONCE A RANGER ALWAYS A RANGER 😞
Every time this song played at the end of the first power rangers movie I would always replay it because it was a great song to a great victory. That movie in itself is a 90’s nostalgia bomb
....Power Rangers? Bulk and Skull!
Lol I watched that movie too many times as a kid.
That was my very first introduction to Van Halen then I went back & Found the other stuff
That movie is why I came here l
OMG! Memories of my youth listening and partying to the music of Van Halen.
RIP...Eddie
Great song. I'm a one man band on youtube. Hope I can make a good song.

You'll get there. Never give up. Best of luck
In Honor of Eddie Van Halen Born: January 26, 1955, Amsterdam
Died: October 6, 2020
This might quite possibly be the greatest pound for pound all around Van Halen song in the catalog. Elements of Rock and Hard Rock, hints of punk and all wrapped up with bow in a Pop/Top40 tempo. RIP EVH you will be remembered and revered forever.
I used to mow the lawn to this album every week in the 80s. It reminds me.of the sunny summers of my youth. Great stuff. Thanks. RIP Eddie
Whether it's David Lee or Sammy I'm a Van Halen fan. I love both of those lead singers of Van Halen.
Eddie van halen was one of the baddest instrumentalist ever and you knew his sound, rip
Rest in Peace, Jason David Frank
R.I.P Tommy 😔
RIP Eddie. 5150 was one of my favourite albums during my teenage years in the 80s. Loved this track and Why Cant This Be Love.
That is an unpopular opinion among VH fans (but one that I personally agree with!). I loved Sammy Hagar and 5150 was by far my favorite album from them.
