Back in the old days, one person at each minaret used to call for the prey. So for a four minaret mosque, all four directions were covered by callers voice.
No need so many anymore with microphone and speakers.
We love you and the way you go and the way you tell us.
All the best in the rest of your journey
You are traveling around Turkey very well. Congratulations. Even Turks have not seen the places you have visited as much as you have 💯👍🧿❤
Yeah it’s amazing ☺️ can’t wait to come back and explore more another time! 🙏
The number of minarets on a mosque is not fixed and varies based on architectural choices, historical significance, and cultural influences. Some mosques have six minarets due to symbolic reasons while others may have fewer based on design preferences or budget constraints. It's a matter of architectural and cultural considerations rather than a strict rule. I hope this helps.
Thank you 🙏☺️
Welcome to Iraq❤
I really like all your videos. You encourage so many people for travelling, including myself. Please stay safe. And good journey…
Thank you so much ☺️ 🫶 I will do
Thanks again Kristina, for another relaxing video, as usual !
I think that the number of minarets, or rockets as you call them... represent the number of Caliphs or Rulers of a Mosque ! I hope that's correct !?
Always good to see your smiling face !
Stay SAFE and UPRIGHT and love from Australia 🏍🦘🇦🇺🌹
Wow! Impressive! Cant wait to see the next episodes. Adventure!!!🏍️🌴🏔️

15:01 Hell without you would be an exile for me woww great song Turkey's classical music is an art that really needs to be discovered... It is said to be from the Romans but it peaked during the Ottoman period and is still continuing.
Looks exiting. Take care

I actually can't believe one day I will open CZcams and see your entrance video to Nepal. From Sweden to Nepal, just wow. I am living through your journey. It is very fun!
The same for me! 🥲 getting goosebumps just thinking of it 🙏
There are many reasons for this. Multiple minarets increase the visual magnificence and aesthetic value of the mosque. Especially in large mosques, the use of more than one minarets gives the structure a more magnificent appearance. Minarets are places where the adhan is recited and announced to the surroundings. In the past, the use of more than one minarets to spread the sound over a wider area enabled the call to prayer to be heard by more people. Thanks to the minarets positioned in various directions, it is aimed to spread the sound over a wider area. these are just a few; Architectural Balance and Symmetry are also found in Historical and Geographical Factors...
👍
Reading recent day's news, I have been hoping you are way ahead of your videos with your journey and well clear of the social faultlines that are opening in the region!
Take good care of yourself, Kristina, and all you folks there in the region! Be safe! 🥰🥺

Welcome to my beautiful country.TR&SE
Ahh thank you for the information 🙏😀
There is Halfeti town district between Gaziantep and Şanlıurfa. I wish you could visit there too. It's an interesting place and the road is good for motorcycles. I hope you stop by next time you come. You asked why there are two minarets in the mosque. As the number of minarets increases, it shows the majesty and magnificence of the mosque. Moreover, in times when there were no loudspeakers, muezzins would climb the minarets and announce that it was time for prayer. Have a nice trip
Thank you 🙏😀
I wish you a good trip
Thank you 😊
Thank you, ma'am.

Ja det är som roligt ☺❤
The cave room was very cool. Very nice of that person to give you the coffee, the Turks are lovely people. Safe travels.
P.S. what do you plan on doing once you get to Nepal? are you turning round and heading back, flying home, or maybe continuing? (last one is the best one cause then there will be more videos)
I’m flying or shipping her home ☺️🙏
That one lit up restaurant looked like it was worth a visit. Never seen much of Iraq so will be interesting.
My summer camping trip is booked. (Its next to the Welsh Tet so maybe...).
Ohh congrats! It will be an epic holiday there 🤩
@@krikkosadventure Must get my channel sorted...would be a shame not to film.
P.s not sure be as good as yours and Im not as pretty😉

Rockets :) I liked how you describe minarets :) Mosques mostly have 1 minaret. If it is big or built by wealthy community it may be 2 as well. Historical mosques may have 4 or 6 if they were funded by the sultan (king) of the time, but they are rare. Have a nice trip.
Haha I had no idea what the name was, thank you for the information :)
in Urfa lots of historical good spots . you should visit next time .
Yes, I have to come back and do everything I missed next time 🤩
8:55 I hope you go to the city Batman 😆
Çok dikkat et lütfen güzel insanlara zarar gelmesini hiç istemiyorum şansın bol olsun mutlu ol kardeşim❤
Yes absolutely ☺️🙏
she gets nice treatment from people just because she is beautiful and is Swedish :D
Nice, you'll probably be at 30.000 subscribers and more in a few months. One suggestion though: throughout the video, remove all background music, so we can just hear the ambient environment. Great videos otherwise!
Thanks for the feedback 😀🙌 best wishes
🧡👍
😀🙏
Şanliurfa
Teşekkürler
A mosque doesnt have to have more than one minaret, actually one is enough but they prefer their mosques to be more fascinating, more attractive and huger. That is why they build more minarets.
Thank you for the info ☺️🙏
Just remember to get your viza if u trying to go to Baghdad but if just planning to stay in kurdistan region you don’t need to worry about the Iraqi viza , because the Iraq checkpoint they don’t allow you to go through to Baghdad without viza ❤😊
Yes I speak about that in my recent videos :) thanks!
@@krikkosadventure I guess I missed that just wanted to help
Hopefully see on the road I’m in live in Erbil in Iraq if u need any help 🫶👍save raiding
Appreciate it!
Thank you so much ❤
Rockets? 😂😂😂 You mean Minarets. That was pretty funny. Turkish Hospitality ❤
Yeah 🙈 my imagination is wild. Thank you for the correct word 🙏
😊How will you return to Sweden? Are you planning trips to other countries such as Egypt? Good luck to you, your follower from Turkey
I’m flying or shipping her back I believe ☺️🙏✨
👌👋❤
❤😀
Your Turkish pronunciation is very nice. Congratulations to you
Oh thanks, I wish I knew more 🙈
Come to istanbul I teach you😊🥂@@krikkosadventure
Good drive about . how many cc is your bike engine Thank you 👍👍
It’s a 650 ☺️🙏✨
how can you pass Göbeklitepe? The settlement was inhabited from c. 9500 to at least 8000 BCE during the Pre-Pottery Neolithic. Maybe first temple in the world. Just 16 km (10 miles) northeast of Şanlıurfa
it’s pretty cold up there if not snow.
@@krikkosadventure oh i got it, next time then. After fire was invented 😋
You asked about the number of minarets in mosques. It is just a design no more
the mpsq is small that way only minara haves
Camilerin yanındakilere biz minare deriz. Onlardan ezan okunur. Ses etrafa iyice yayılsın diye yüksek yapılır. Ayrıca Şanlıurfa, Mardin, Batman, Şırnak vs Güneydoğu bölgesinde çoğunlukla Kürtler, Araplar ve Türkler yaşar. Bunlar birbirleriyle uyum içinde yaşar. Balıklıgölde size ikramda bulunanlar ise muhtemelen Kürtlerdi. Yani bir nevi Kürt misafirperveliği demeniz gerekiyordu.
🧿🧿👏👏👏🏍🇹🇷💙
Bu arada videolarınızın başında gösterdiğiniz haritaya göre Malatya-Elazığ-Tunceli-Bitlis-Van sınırından iRAN-PAKİSTAN-NEPAL olması gerekiyordu ama siz yolu uzatıp Gaziantep-Şanlıurfa-Mardin-Şırnak sınırından IRAK yaptınız. Nepal için Irak'a girmenize gerek yoktu. Yolunuzu uzatmış oldunuz
Exactly, more countries to explore 🙌😊
Hi, I'm not that much religious, so I don't know why but I know most of the mosques have single minarets (Your rockets). So don't mind (I do not). Mmmph, may be architectural or visual reason.
Cave was beautiful and you don't pronounce the T in Castle. Just Cassel
It was right! :) yeah I do use a t 🙏
@@krikkosadventure Still Love your vids 💖🙌
Welcome to Kurdistan ❤

@@olgun545454 I live in Kurdistan

The number of minarets is related to the size of the mosque. There is no obligation in Islamic culture for minaret number. 1, 2 or 4 minarets are found in normal-sized mosques, and 6 minarets are only found in mosques built by great sultans. It symbolizes the greatness and prosperity of the Ottoman empire. There are no more than 6 minarets in Ottoman mosques in order not to disrespect the Prophet of Islam.
Thank you 🙏
ROCKETS 🚀
Haaaaaaaaa
Manara in Arabic
Minaret in English
No specific number.
The reason for a minaret/steeple is two folds:
1- In the past their were no proper roads, no addresses, no GPS , Haaaaaa.
That is why mosques 🕌 have minarets, churches have steeples and US courthouses had towers.
So people can see them from a distance and come toward them.
2- In the past their were no speakers, so if you are high up , a lot of people in a distance can hear, the call for prayer.
Thank you
Cheers, we learn something everyday 😊🙏
Indeed
We learn something new every day
Godspeed
