Last year we put ice down our bras and kept soaking our tees at the water stations and pit them back on, game changer! I've also ordered an emergency foil blanket for night and the same in a poncho in case it's raining bad

on the dehydration thing, most people flake not due to lack of water but by not eating, just drinking water you will desalinate
Bring a tarp, you've then got a way to extend your tent or it can be a cover for your tent if it rains (if your tent isn't too waterproof)
Do. Rock up, rock out.
Do. Leave your phone/device at home.
Do. Stay hydrated, water not alcohol.

a tip we've done the last few festivals is bring plastic shoe covers. So if its raining and you need to grab something from your tent you can put a cover over your boots/wellies and be able to walk freely in your tent rather than dragging mud in or having to faff around getting boots/wellies off and then back on again. GAME CHANGER!

Some of my Luxury how to camp items
Sleeping - Fox Camolite R3 Bedchair (if you know you know)
Coolbox - Icey Tek 25L (pre cool) day before will be cold when you get home, amazing bit of kit
Tent - Swedish Canvas Storm tent, will with stand any weather
Battery pack
Rebar tent pegs, they don't bend
Petzl head torch
Chair - fox fishing chair, better than anything a camp shop will sell
Wind break, extra privacy
Van, camping game changer if all else fails jump in the van, sleep in the back, rip only
Weber bbq, smokey joe, awesome travel bbq (learn how to use it though)
Ikea bags - always handy
Battery lantern - dewalt 18v site light
Shein bags for clothes are great for keeping organised and dry!

If you have some of those knocking about that’s practically the same as the bags you can buy from Amazon
If you are using access camp showers, bring flip flops. Also ideal for late night pee runs. Suncream and watch the heat and sun, many meds can make you more susceptible to heat stroke and as a ginger nothing is more of a mood killer at the end of the night sat nearly crying because you feel like a radiator thats been dipped in acid after the sun has made you crispy. Tarp shelters with poles, basically a light weight gazebo that you can change the shape of and has a smaller foot print.
Torches! Take a little one with you to the arena. Helps prevent falling over those tight tent lines when you're finding your way through after the show
Good shout! Get a small enough one to not take up too much space in the ol’ bum bag
Safe to say I’m prepared for download I just need to pack my personal things likes clothes toothpaste and stuff like that. This will be my second year going to download last year was amazing I don’t think this year will top it for me as I liked a lot more bands last year

You can only take a sealed 500ml bottle of water or soft drink into the arena… or… be creative

It was sooooo hot last year. Plenty of water is a must! Looks like it won’t be as hot this year
And yeah like others have said - don’t take your phone. Be completely in the moment. Don’t be one of those dickheads that films everything but doesn’t actually take in the moment. Be present!

How can you not litter, when all trash bins became trash mountains last year!
Thats a good point, but even leaving a full bin bag by the bins they will get collected when they get emptied (eventually!")
