y'know, I think the problem with Vampire Flower is that she doesn't heal enough for the amount of damage it takes to kill her. it might ALSO just be because she has a piss-poor amount of health, but it would be OP to make that higher, so I think the best solution would be to just buff her healing.

nah, she's alright as she is, but if u really wanted to make her better u could buff her damage/clip cos with the vampiric upgrade her healing is already pretty insane

Vampire flower to me is risk vs reward.
In a lot of engagements, you effectively have a lot more HP than everyone thinks you do (especially with the vampiric upgrades that come in in later levels), but that's ONLY if you land your shots. You need to have decent accuracy and you need to take smart engagements, otherwise you die.
And keep in mind that once you learn to aim and track your shots properly, most deaths as Vampire Flower are deaths you would've had anyways as any other sunflower. You're a support class and you're not meant for the front lines.
You can play Stuffy if you're unable to get too much value with Vamp Flower, she doesn't have nearly as many downsides so she's essentially just slightly better sunflower in most ways.
Stuffy has better health and damage but much more inefficient healing. I prefer stuffy because i find myself not confirming kills fast enough and dying to everything as vamp.

just gon get this off my chest i absolutely adore how you edit your videos. you use sound audios and memes in such a simple and an effective way. they never get too much or drags out for too long and its not in your face like a lot of how youtubers edit videos these days. no violent camera shakes or zooms, no overly animated text, its always just right. keep it up man your doin wonders 👍

Vampire Flower. A character with a great design that appeals to many (especially the uh...depraved). Unfortunately, she hasn't been tiptop ever since they nerfed her. Just increase the amount of health she heals from attacks and call it a day.

With the health upgrade, she can have 95 base hp, almost as much as the normal sunflower from pvz gw 1. Also, I think the gw2 sunflower got her health upgrade to allow this character to exist. Just an idea, though.

she is really really good singleplayer tho
and she's a really good support character
This is the thing she imo doesn’t get strong till you unlock her upgrades or more rather the RIGHT upgrades. Idk if this is even an argument but the vampiric upgrade and health upgrade is a necessary for this flower given her health pool is so low. The other issue to talk is her ammo capacity but since they nerfed the ammo upgrade to only give 5 more ammo it’s just best to get reload speed to get back to shooting enemies (keeping yourself alive) as quick as you can.
Her power comes through out living her enemies in a dual rather than gunning them down quickest, struggles slightly against more than maybe two enemies at once and even with the extra health you’ve gotta be wary of certain abilities and damage thresholds.
Overall she’s high risk high reward because with the right things and adaption to playstyle you physically don’t die and the only thing that really outclasses you sustain wise is maybe stuffy. Stuffy is the best flower after all.
Also dark flower is good for easier dps times sure but I run heal flower the most for burst damage healing since I’m already doing a constant amount of self sustain but burst doesn’t give a fuck about my vampirism. Overall great character, probably high tier, not the best due to nerfs and stuffy just existing but still one of the best flowers coming from personal experience.
For a support character I feel like sustain oriented designs like stuffy and vampire are good regardless of what there damage outputs would’ve been or not given how they keep sunflower in the fight themselves to continue sustaining and reviving others alongside the support damage they do.

Vampire flower is mediocre not the worst however the 25 health reduction works for vampire chomper but not for vampire flower becuade it absolutely screws her in a 1v2 or just a super brains in close range but 1v1 are great for her and the last thing I'll talk about is fire damage it can absolutely destory her espicaly agaiesnt longer ramge specialist like centurion, and flameface UNLESS you have the heal flower then don't even worry about it.

I feel like this character is a bit of a crutch. Like self healing will never be bad, but this character is kind of the epitome of bad sunflower etiquette. I see so many sunflower players using the potted flower selfishly, either as a self heal beam (heal flower) or as a pocket teammate (dark flower). Isn’t part of sunflower gameplay about good positioning? I feel like the potted flowers work best when used to spread healing/deny area. I say all of this as a sunflower main.
