What Usually Happens During Sorties

I've been publishing highlights of when I get lucky, mostly. To give you an idea of how my usual sorties usually go, here's a pretty good example.
I am by no means good at this game or comparable to those people who have been playing it for years. I just started but it's still quite crushing.

Thanks. I was feeling pretty useless after that, but this is what usually happens. Lots of the other players have way more experience so it feels quite crushing to be wrecked like that.

Also I've always felt that the 109 g6 is better for escorting because it's more maneuverable which is better for escorting missions
