- Another order from eldoradocoins.de! This time, we reveal the latest Marvel 1oz coin and I get my first look at what I think is going to become one of the mainstays of basic bullion coin stacking, the 1 oz Silver Krugerrand!

You have BYB or course, and shadow stack, AgD, Silver Shaker, Pans Purse, Jonrms (honourary brit), numistacker etc. I'm subbed to loads more but those are the guys I pay most attention to. Also sub to Big Lorry. He passed away a few months back but his videos are still worth a watch and I'm sure his family keep an eye on the channel. Cheers

It’s now February 2021 (almost March) and it’s interesting to see how how drastically the market has changed. Krugerrand 1oz BU’s are currently one of the best deals with the lowest premiums for government minted coins along with the Britannias and to a lesser extent the RCM Maple leafs & Perth Roo’s. ASE are going for 40 USD+ now lol
Yeh its interesting to see. The difference is most likely due to the american market. Most stackers are american, and the yanks love their ASEs! But the 2021 Brit is an amazing coin, and the kruggerand is still an up and comer i think.
@@StackerNoobUK agreed. I really like the Britannia’s and Krugerrands. I’m an American and personally I think the Britannias are the best looking out of the bunch to be honest. In fact I have more coins with The Queens face than not. Helps that the premiums are always closer to spot. I may be an outlier haha.

Krugs are fairly affordable. I have a 2017 premium uncirculated. Very nice

All I can say is keep stacking and tell everyone you know to do so, because we have the power to raise the price of silver by increasing demand, silver will run low in 15 years what do u think the price of silver will be when you can’t get anymore
I guess it all depends on the mintage and those years that the lowest usually have a higher premium.. be it ase or libertad etc The 2017 was 1m and when it first came out price was high and done nothing but drop since.. a lot thought it be a one off but its not the case. Also the rm oriental border all that's different really is the date and that's devalued the 1st coins. Also kew 50ps that's the thing nothing to stop mints redoing a design again with a different date. So i think they ok if cheap enough which they are now. But if you bought earlier you lost out and been burnt. Thx for sharing
You are exactly right, mintage is the key thing for sure but I doubt very much I’ll lose anything with these coins, as I say the first year is the one everyone wants as part of a date run so it’s the first one people will go looking for, doesn’t mean I’ll make a bomb but it should be easy enough to shift them in a few years time. how long did the shipping take with eldoradocoins. was going to put my first order with silver to go but eldorado looks a few pounds cheaper. kinda excited about my first order but also nervous
It only takes 2-3 days after your order is confirmed so pretty standard, always well packaged too! It’s good to be nervous keeps you suspicious, I always check my silver once I get hold of it and I have never had a bad coin from any European dealer. Good luck!
After 6 months of buying coins from mints worldwide, I have settled on the Krugerrand and the Silver Eagle as my stacking base...:)
Krugerrands are the best and cheapest government minted bullion coin, it makes total sense to stack them and stack them high!
Wonder if it;s a good idea to buy coins from Estonia, have them store them for the 6 months (Free usually), and fly over to pick them up. Flights are dirt cheap. All that VAT you'd save.
Yes it is if you can get over there! Very good money saving option especially for large orders!
I'm not sure I can bring myself to buy Krugerrands if the SA government will profit from it.

Being in the UK, where do you order your silver beauties? I always stay with silvertogo.
Silvertogo are a safe bet but they are more expensive than some other places. Cheaper places like metalsmarket, europeanmint and eldoradocoins are my picks, all excellent overall when you factor in deliver fees. As I say eldoradocoins are my picks because some coins are dirt cheap and delivery costs are completely reasonable unlike some places (gs.be for example). Plus you get little extras like mint tubes for free if you buy ten or more coins. If you need any more advice come back to me man happy to help!

Looking good, I was going to start buying gold (expecting brexit to have happened) but it looks like we are not going to leave the EU so I am torn on do I buy more silver or do I go gold.

Stacker Noob, most people I know buy their silver in Europe, including me. My question is, from the end of this month will we have to pay VAT at the port of entry, which at the moment we don't, but I suspect from the end of January we might need to. Do you or anyone else here have any inside info in this regard? If this is the case I am going to have to place a large order so as to have as little an impact on my customers as possible!
You can relax! The Brexit transition period means we keep the same rules we have now until the end of the year :-)

Well it’s a special edition and not a bullion coin but I do intend to top my tube off with one. But wow! That is expensive as hell!

@@StackerNoobUK Turn the coin over so you are looking at the Springbok, now halkway up the right leg of the bokke between its ankle and it knee. Now focus on that point. Now focus on the mountains in the background and if you look very carefully you will see the word Krugerrand. You might need a magnifying glass!

@@lordrichy1065 it's legal to buy them from Europe. You don't have to pay tax that way. Nothing illegal about it.
@@lordrichy1065 and you only have to pay tax if you sell them in the UK if the total amount exceeds 10k in that year (including any other capital gains tax) not assuming you don't already know 🙏
@@ianrjm969 cheers Ian - yea I know about 10k and CGT - its just a worry in the back of my mind because the tax man is very greedy and im concerned HMRC might use dirt tactics in the future to recoup tax they think they are owed. :o

These marvel 1oz coins are overpriced and not worth it, they are more like a novelty. Stick with 1oz bars from Monarch, prospector Gold and Gems, Atlantis, etc, it will be the best bartering and trading chip.
As I always say each to their own! I really like the marvel coins yeh they are a bit pricey but they are good fun and pretty good quality too. Love my prospector and Atlantis bars though man don’t you worry! Cheers!
