Blooper, like its almost useless

Blooper, All it does it is ruin your traction, and for piranha plants at least you can kind of take shortcuts

The coin has several uses. Firstly, getting 2 coins from one item is better than it sounds, and boosts your speed slightly. Secondly and more famously, having a coin in first means you will always next get a defensive item, so you won’t be stuck with 2, ever. The blooper does absolutely nothing for the person that has it, it just sucks.
I wouldn't call not getting a second coin or being boo protection an upside; any item will protect the second item from a boo, and not getting a second coin is only good because a coin is bad
@@Jkirek_ also adds strategy to the game, getting in first place without it would leave first place with nothing but the inevitable to worry about
I think the blooper is the worst item in Mario Kart and it effects ur traction on track makes it bad and only usefully against the cups off line play.
I know coin is seen as useless, but I think blooper is worse because you get it in the back. The blooper does literally nothing as the only people who will have to deal with it are people in the front. People in the middle or back will just use a mushroom. When I’m really behind, trying to pull a mushroom or star, getting a blooper just makes me frown.
Relative to the other items you can get blooper is easily the worst
The annoying items for me are the items I unable in the Vs. Mode:

@@Fabian_TheProYT because it does almost the same than Boo but worse, I'm in 1st place, someone shoot the Spiny Shell, I was waiting witht he horn, and BOOM, lightning, bye bye horn, hello doomsday
Me personally the worst item I hate is the boo because they steal my mushrooms and the boo give me a coin in last place
Coins can be really plain but does help with speed so it aint useless but rather 😢
Are people genuinely unaware that you can mash the item button to make the Piranha Plant bite even when there’s nothing around?
Yeah I typically hold the button down so I can go as fast as possible
My most hated item since the wii u version of 8 is actually the red shell. They are simply too effective at what they do. On top of that they are too common, can fly, and no skill is involved when 2nd place frequently pulls triple reds right next to 1st followed by single red shell making it quadruple. its mainly the combination of them being too effective and being too common which is why I find them just as bad if not worse than a blue shell. I'd have less of a problem with it if 2nd place couldn't get triples.

Me personally, while i do agree with some people's argument, i feel like the blooper is overhated
In older titles, the blooper was the worst item and getting it is always a let down, even in MK8Deluxe but like, coming in today, i feel like the item can be useful in some situations, like it covers your screen and also makes you lose traction on the road, making it feel more slippery to drive. Idk why its more hard for me to drive when im bloopered, maybe it's because im not used to the slippery feature in non icy tracks but maybe thats just me.
Worst item for me is the golden mushroom, why: if you get a golden mushroom in the 1st slot and a bullet bill in the 2nd slot, you cannot use the bullet bill in a bullet bil extension zone

Coin item is the most useless item in the Mario kart games that included them.
Getting a coin can be the difference between finishing first and finishing second or third. Getting a blooper can be the difference between top 4 and finishing last 💀 no competition tbh. Blooper is trash

1. Coins are the worst especially when you get them all the time.
2. When you see someone in first with triple green shells it can be the worst feeling.

Which item?
I think it's more interesting to consider how good an item is relative to the place in which you get it. Looking at it like this, I think the piranha plant is the worst item in the game. You get it in the middling spots, where you'd much rather get mushrooms or red shells to catch up. Can the piranha plant help you catch up? No. Like you said, it provides pitiful speed boosts and can only hit other players if you get close enough, which may require you to take bad lines just to have a shot at it.
The worst part about it, though (and I'm shocked you didn't mention this), is the total vulnerability it puts you in. Even if you spam the bites to use it as quickly as possible, it takes 3 full seconds to go away. That's 3 whole seconds where other people are free to send any red shells or other items your way with zero risk of failure. When I see a piranha plant in my item slot, I get rid of it as soon as possible specifically because of this. If I get a blooper or a coin, at least I can use it right away to put up some defense or take a shortcut with my second item. But with the piranha plant, that's not happening.
Yo I didn’t even think of that lol. But it’s so true, I’ve been redded multiple times when I have a piranha plant and it’s super annoying! If only they could chomp behind as well.
