Thanks For Watching.. - Hry
i noticed that shadow20Z barely blocked low .. is that a legit strategy against Eddy? Seemed like he mainly waiting for Eddy to do something minus then punished
I've been watching his matches and I also use Zafina. He does fuzzy duck which helps with blocking lows. His spacing and distance keeping is also very good. He also clearly knows Eddy's moveset and how to punish and he always stays calm regardless who's he's facing that's why it may look like he's not blocking low because he's confident in the match up.
Why most eddy players always so impatient? It's like they want to go make random move and then get punish later rather than play safe, keep distance and then go quick punish becuz most of his moves cant quick block after the move is released. And the guy always throwing random bullshit and someway somehow always get punished.
you make a good point. this is how eddy is best played as I am playing him more and more in the higher ranks. He cannot be played up close with maximum pressure, the opponent will be much more aggressive up close and Eddys moves are mostly punishable. If Eddy is played slow, paces the arena and keeps the game at a neutral/defensive level, Eddy is very strong. If Eddy is played like a crackhead, he is low tier. Some characters can be played like a brainless crackhead and be very strong still. Most characters in Tekken 8 actually. Eddy is not one of them
Will people still claim Zafina is a defensive fighter?
The only people still playing defensively (old tekken) are Knee and Chanel and they're not doing so good. I wonder when they'll adapt to T8
Since her "general" moves aren't the best and her movement supercedes such, she is better when player defensively...however the nature of the game means she can't do what she did in t7 to the same degree for wins
It’s smarter to play defensive with her but I would say she can turn it up a couple of notches if you fail to punish her.
