Congress leaders at the party's Central Election Committee meeting told party president Mallikarjun Kharge to make Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra the candidates for the high-profile Amethi and Raebareli Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, sources told India Today TV. This came amid speculation of the Gandhi siblings being fielded from the traditional bastions.
